Volume 5 Summary and Remarks(1/4)
When I typed the three words "I finished this volume".
I feel a vast tranquility.
After experiencing a huge climax like Jianxian, how can this plot be implemented smoothly? In fact, it is more difficult than writing a climax.
I slowly wrote down, and my extremely excited mood fell gently during this period.
This world, together with my heart, has gained peace.
So you can continue walking forward.
Now I am sitting at the desk. I just finished lunch and poured a cup of warm water and started slowly writing the final summary.
Where you write is what you want, don’t be surprised if you don’t speak well. After all, my heart... is already on holiday.
This volume starts with the long river interception and ends with the success of Guanhetai, and has a sense of fate like reincarnation.
I still think in a daze now.
Jiang Wang on this end of the long river, what would he feel when he looked back at Jiang Wang on the other end of the long river?
In early May, I looked back at the me who was difficult to write the first thing I did to write, and my mood was inevitably complicated...
The structure of the difficulty of traveling is very large, one is the battlefield of the mystery and the other is the meeting of the Yellow River.
It was a very risky decision for me to put the core climax at the Yellow River meeting.
Because it's too difficult.
The first difficulty of the Yellow River Association is that all readers have great expectations for it. After all, it is a grand event in the world that starts from the first chapter.
This expectation requires it to have an experience that exceeds the peak in order to be satisfied.
Under this expectation, a single point problem will be magnified to ten.
The second difficulty of the Yellow River Association is that most readers know its results, or have their own confident understanding.
How do I write suspense without suspense? How can I raise my expectations while predicting the results?
The third difficulty of the Yellow River Association is that the geniuses of all countries are fighting each other, and they all need to be worthy of the name of geniuses.
Otherwise, the so-called "battle of geniuses among all countries" will easily evolve into a "vegetable chicken jumping game" where the protagonist chops vegetables and melons.
Except for the protagonist, everyone is passerby.
Then the Yellow River Meeting is a joke.
How do I stand up one genius after another with different personalities, instead of just queuing up to sign up for my personal names? In particular, many characters have just appeared, and I don’t have enough time and space to lay the groundwork.
In addition, I also want to outline the situation in various countries as much as possible and show readers what I have seen, such a great struggle!
No country in it is a simple symbol, it has its glory and history. And I must quickly establish the readers' cognition in a very short space.
If all these countries come to power and readers still look at them in a dark way, that is my failure.
And I only have one time to meet the Yellow River.
How can I write down the glorious feeling of the stars when they are shining on the premise of ensuring these?
How can I stand by the word "genius" and truly let readers feel that this is a great era where genius emerges!
This is very difficult.
Very difficult.
But I think that only this difficulty can be worthy of readers’ support for this book.
Only such challenges are worthy of my requirements for myself and the hard work I put into this world.
I don’t want to repeat myself, and I have to be as best as possible in every volume.
So I took the hardest path.
I want to write a true genius meeting!
Only when real geniuses gather and the stars shine can the brilliance of Jiang Wang reaching the top truly show.
The crane standing in the flock of chickens is just a mediocre person.
The world of is not the kind of world that keeps upgrading and changing maps (there is no such bad meaning, different types).
Every role participating in the Yellow River Association is the number one genius in all countries.
Their importance will inevitably affect the situation of the nations in the next ten years, a hundred years or even more years, and then affect the entire world.
The Yellow River Meeting itself is also the first time that it shows readers the pattern of the world's countries. The fog in the present world has blown away so much for the first time...
Everyone, this world has opened its arms to you.
Please experience it, please feel it!
At the same time, I am also adding history and filling in details.
For example, I wrote about Xia, Liang, and Wei. I described the geniuses and entanglements of these countries. At the same time, in this process, I enriched the details of the battle between Qi and Xia that year. All of us can feel the cruelty and grandeur of that battle for hegemony.
The same is true for the Battle of the River Valley.
I have done a lot of meticulous work in this area, ambushing in waves of plot climaxes. It is easy for everyone to skip it at first glance. But if you savor it carefully, they are the real place of this world.
The entire Yellow River meeting, dozens of new characters appeared, and you finished singing and I made a debut.
Many people here are just to establish a rough image and bring out some of their own situations to facilitate future filling. Wherever the plot goes, they can easily connect this thread.
In such a short time and in such a narrow space.
If two or three new characters can stand up, they will be considered as completing their writing goals.
It can be called success if you can make readers remember four or five characters.
If more than five characters are remembered, it is beyond my imagination!
So at this moment, don’t read the book, please recall, how many have you remembered?
Your answer at this moment.
Perhaps this is the most appropriate evaluation of this Yellow River meeting.
After talking about the difficulties of the Yellow River Meeting, I will go back and talk about it. Since it is a quantity of two volumes, why don’t I complete the book on Tianyatai?
There are five or six leaders from Tianyatai, which probably represents the recognition of many readers (although the five or six leaders failed to speed up Ji Shaoqing's death... Don't beat me, I will review myself.)
Challenging higher writing difficulty is one of the reasons.
Another important reason is the limitations of overseas.
The Mysterious Realm is the main battlefield of the human sea tribe. The situation in the offshore islands can only be influenced by real people and even the powerful True Lords.
Jiang Wang is indeed like a floating wave in it. Not only is it trivial, but it is also difficult to create a huge impact.
Just killing Ji Shaoqing certainly has great emotional catharsis. But for me, there are always some regrets.
I made a few pens and carefully deduced it, and then overturned it. Then at that time I told Kushi that I couldn't support the climax I wanted, and the sequel was about to meet the Yellow River.
So I took the opportunity to stop Tianyatai.
Writing is sometimes a kind of deduction, a logical evolution after characters and events occur. As an author, what you do is to fill in details and grasp the general direction.
It’s not that you cannot forcefully change directions, but it is easy to capsize.
In the plot of Zhu Biqiong, I seem to have made a huge mistake of "serializing online articles".
I first wrote about the role of "death" that was very pity for readers, which made some readers abandon the book in anger.
Later I wrote her "live" again, and some readers who thought that the tragedy caused the real one to leave again in anger.
Then I changed her to write, and readers who liked her but did not abandon the book were also angry...
This is undoubtedly very harmful to the results.
During this period, no matter how some readers attacked, I never explained it.
I have always believed that communication between the author and the reader should be completed as much as possible.
Now I can only say that I have not completed this pit yet. So let it be for the coming day.
But the reason why I added a "serialized online article" prefix before the "huge mistake" is because I personally think that putting aside this prefix and just writing itself, this plot is not wrong.
I have buried the foreshadowing of the mirror flower and water moon in the secret realm of Tianfu for too long. Even the sisters Zhu Suyao and Zhu Biqiong were born for this foreshadowing. However, in the later contacts of the characters, Zhu Biqiong gradually produced more arcs of characters, which is the natural evolution of the story.
After I wrote this, it is impossible for me to give up the foreshadowing that I have been buried for so long.
That’s all for the explanation.
At the end of this volume, I felt an unprecedented resistance. This resistance often occurred in the past, but now the readers' base is larger and its power is greater.
Many readers tried to influence me and used ways they believed to be reasonable. Including but not limited to, making fierce remarks in the book review area, finding my various social platform accounts to attack me in private messages.
They kept asking me to write faster, skip the supporting role, don’t let the supporting role be too powerful, let the protagonist take action early, and let the protagonist finish playing early...
I said on Weibo that it is becoming increasingly difficult to stick to myself.
At the end of the first volume of the Moon, there were always voices saying why I wrote so many supporting roles? Why did I write so many supporting roles to death? What about the protagonist?
At the end of the heroic book, there were always voices saying, why haven’t you finished the fight yet? I’m so annoying to reversal.
To be continued...
