110 Strange Dreams

Late at night, Yu Qin suddenly woke up.

She wiped the cold sweat from her forehead, picked up her phone and looked at it, it was two o'clock in the morning.

"Why is this happening..." Yu Qin couldn't help but murmured to herself, "How long has it been since I had nightmares?"

In the dream just now, she seemed to have arrived in another world. It was a battlefield filled with smoke and blood. People held rifles in line and shot each other. And she herself became a member of the infantry ranks. Under the command of the commander, she walked onto the battlefield, pulled the trigger tremblingly, and ushered in death.

This dream was unusually real. Apart from the lack of pain before death, the more she recalled the other details, the more she felt frightened. No matter what the scene she saw, the gun in her hand, and the smell of gunpowder at her nose did not seem fake at all.

But there are also details in this dream that are obviously contrary to the facts, such as someone flying in the sky on the battlefield...

Yu Qin suddenly wanted to find someone to talk to and have a good chat about this strange dream. But it's two o'clock in the morning, so how could anyone talk to her? All the classmates and friends I know must be sleeping now, right?

The girl sighed, lay back on the pillow, closed her eyes and tried to fall asleep again.

But as soon as she closed her eyes, everything she had just experienced in her dream seemed to appear before her, making her unable to help but think about it...

Yu Qin sat up again.

She picked up her phone, clicked on the Q chat interface, and tried to find a friend online.

Then she actually found it.

Clicking on the friend who was still online, Yu Qin immediately asked: [Sister Nana, are you here?]

No response.

Yu Qin knocked on his forehead and sighed: "No matter how you think about it, you can't be still there, right? It must be that the phone is online and the person is already asleep..."

Suddenly, the Q message prompt sounded.

Yu Qin was excited and saw Du Na’s reply: [Is there anything wrong?]

She thought for a while and entered: [Sister Nana is not sleeping so late?]

Duna:【It’s a holiday.】

Yu Qin: [In order to talk about what you are doing? Learn?]

Duna:【Yes, industrial design.】

Yu Qin: [Oh, will I disturb you now?]

After sending this message, the girl looked at the chat records above and thought to herself that she had asked a superficial stupid question. She asked someone to chat at 2 a.m. and didn't get into the main topic, isn't it disturbing her?

But her desire to talk at this moment really made her not care about this.

Fortunately, Duna's reply was still calm: [Fortunately, I can talk while studying. What do you want to say?]

Yu Qin thought about it and continued to enter: [I just had a dream, it was very strange...]

———

At 2:30 in the morning, Du Na and Yu Qin finally finished their last conversation, saying good night to each other, and came to an end.

Du Na sat in front of the computer, guessing that Yu Qin on the opposite side should have gone back to sleep. But she suddenly lost interest at this time. She didn't want to go to bed or continue playing games.

The girl turned off the Dyson Ball Game, clicked on the historical webpage I just searched for, and read it again.

She said to herself: "I remember right, the so-called line-up shooting...the line-based infantry tactics are something at least two hundred years ago in this world. But..."

But Duna knew that there was a place where line infantry tactics were still used.

That is the world where she was born and raised, the continent managed by the magic association.

The details of the dream that Yu Qin just described made her think of her hometown. On that continent, there are still some regimes of all sizes attacking each other. On the battlefield there, there are soldiers queuing up to shoot each other, cannons equipped with solid shells, floating boats and magicians.

"Just Yu Qin said just now that seeing someone flying in the sky, isn't that the intermediate magician responsible for observing the battlefield?"

Duna let go of her mouse, leaned against the back of the chair, looked up at the ceiling and the ceiling lights.

She murmured: "Will this kind of dream tell anything...will the two worlds merge?"

Late at night, the girl was in a lonely small room, her thoughts were flying.

Finally, she made up her mind.

"We must accumulate more magic power. And that guy Zuo Rong, his combat power... he also needs to practice it again!"

———

Another world, the sea city Chuanduo, above the silver-white tower of the Magic Association.

Supreme Consul Eda Su once again stepped onto the top terrace, knelt on one knee, and sought revelation from his grandfather.

She said: "According to your instructions, I have selected a new group of elites. They have 35 of them, all of whom are very young, no more than thirty years old, and have been promoted to high-level magicians."

Still no grandfather was seen, only the vicissitudes of life sounded in her ears: "Have you drained the magic association's blood?"

Edda: "The Magic Society has tens of thousands of magicians, and this number is nothing. But this group of people is indeed the most elite I can choose... So, what's the next step?"

Grandfather: "Wait."

Ada was slightly surprised: "What are you waiting for?"

Grandfather: "The time is not yet ripe. Of course, these young people should not be allowed to wait. Refine the reports of Kremans and Pamela and leave them to them so that they can understand what kind of mental preparation they should be prepared."

Eda was silent for two seconds and replied, "I understand."

Grandfather said leisurely again: "As for now, there is no need to be anxious. The defected child...what is her name, Yalanta?"

Eda smiled bitterly and said, "Yes, Yalanta, but she is not a child. She graduated from the same class as me back then."

However, my grandfather's words were blocked: "In my eyes, you are all children."

Edda thought for a while and indeed, his grandfather was a man who had witnessed the demise of the Church of Holy Light with his own eyes. That was nearly two hundred years ago. For this old man with extraordinary forms of existence, aren’t everyone in the world children?

Grandfather continued: "Time is the most wonderful. After a while, the situation may change a lot. In that world, I have already..."

Speaking of this, he paused and was silent.

Eda couldn't help but feel nervous and expectant, but he didn't dare to say anything more, for fear of disturbing his grandfather's thoughts.

Finally, my grandfather continued, "In a sense, my magic has already touched that world a little bit. But the flow of time has confused me very much."

Edda: "Why are you confused?"

Grandfather smiled and said, "Because I came from that world. It's been two hundred years, and that world seems to have only been a few years. But after Yalanta passed, the flow of time on both sides became very close again... Perhaps, it was because of such a change that she could get through it?"

Eda widened her eyes and said nothing. In fact, she really couldn't say anything now.

After all, even though she had already guessed something about the words "I came from that world", she couldn't help but be shocked when she heard it.
