Chapter 10 Hygienist Asia
In Lin Hua's eyes, his former old friend Xie Liaosha had a bit of talent as a logistics minister. Seeing the new soldier's bed without sleep, he asked Lin Hua for instructions and took people to the forest outside the town to cut trees, transported the wood back and piled it outside the church, and began to build a new bed.
When I was busy until the evening, the church hall was cleaned up, and new beds were lined up in an orderly manner. Although the beds were not good-looking and the bark outside had not been cut off, they were particularly strong. The soldiers slept on it, at least they didn't have to worry about the bed collapse as soon as they turned over.
Asia, the only female soldier in the platoon, was also arranged by Selyosha in the small room at the entrance. This arrangement not only prevents the soldiers from harassing her; but also allows anyone to find the hygienist as soon as possible when they feel uncomfortable.
The day before the Moscow counterattack began, Lin Hua stood on the bell tower and looked at the nearby avenue. He saw that on both sides of the road were soldiers lined up in an orderly manner, and in the middle were tanks, trucks loaded with ammunition or warriors, and gun cars tow artillery.
On duty in the bell tower was the soldier Oleg. He also saw the army that could not be seen in the distance, heading north along the snow-covered road. He couldn't help but ask Lin Hua curiously: "Comrade Platoon Commander, so many troops are heading north. It seems that our army is going to prepare for a counterattack, right?"
Lin Hua knew in his heart that although the Soviet army would launch a full-scale counterattack against the German army in more than ten hours, this news was limited to officers above the regiment level. He did not answer Oleg's question, but turned around and went down the bell tower along the spiral ladder.
Just as he opened the wooden door at the entrance and was about to go out to relax, he heard a voice coming from beside him: "Comrade Platoon Leader, where are you going?"
Lin Hua turned his head and saw that the female health worker Asia was standing at the door of the cottage, looking at him curiously. He grinned at the other party and said, "I plan to go outside for a walk!"
After hearing Lin Hua say it, Asia asked naturally: "Can I be with you?"
"Let's go," Lin Hua was just begging for a beautiful woman like Asia, so he waved his head and agreed readily: "Let's go out for a walk together!"
After walking side by side on the street for a while, Asia suddenly asked, "Comrade Platoon Leader, where are you from?"
Lin Hua learned a lot about Misha’s military certificate, so when he heard Asia asks, he smiled and replied, “I am from Moscow.”
"Are you a Moscow?" Asia's face showed a surprise expression: "I am a Moscow, and my family lives in the instrument factory on the east side."
"I know, you told me when we first met." Since the two of them started, it became natural to continue chatting: "My family lives in the Ryazan District east of Moscow."
"Comrade Platoon Commander, was it your first time in the battle that day?" Asia asked.
"That's right, that day was my first battle." Lin Hua couldn't help but feel a little scared when he recalled the bullets that swished past his head that day. He looked at the beautiful and charming female health officer: "If the militia from the instrument factory arrived in time that day, maybe they would let the enemy rush into the town."
The two walked a long way forward, and Asia asked suddenly, "Are you married?"
"No," Lin Hua shook his head and said, "If the war did not break out, I would have found a beautiful girlfriend to marry after I finished college."
Hearing Lin Hua say that she is not married or even a girlfriend, Asia becomes happy. She naturally holds Lin Hua's hand and asks softly: "Comrade Platoon Leader, what major do you study in college?"
Lin Hua did not expect that Asia would suddenly hold her arm, a strange feeling that she had never experienced in her life, passing by him like thunder and lightning. Especially the softest part of Asia's chest, she would touch her arm from time to time, making Lin Hua a little panicked.
He thought hard in his mind that Misha, who was replaced by him, was said to be a college student, but he really didn't know what major he studied in school. In order to divert Asia's attention, he quickly took the initiative to change the topic: "Asia, don't always call me platoon leader, it sounds too awkward. You should call me Misha like Selyosha. Also, let's call us "you" between us."
Asia was good at following the flow of goodness. When she heard Lin Hua say this, she immediately agreed, and like an old friend of many years, she began to call Lin Hua by "you": "Misha, you haven't said yet, what major did you study in college?"
"Asia, where are you?" Lin Hua still did not return to the question raised by Asia, but asked back: "What major do you study in school?"
"I am a student of the Medical University." Asia held Lin Hua's hand and continued walking, saying: "I should have been promoted to the second grade in September this year, but the war broke out. My classmates and I joined the army and were assigned to the army to work as a health officer."
"Are you a student of the Medical University?" Lin Hua couldn't help but ask curiously: "Students in the Medical University should be military doctors, why did you make you a hygienist?"
"I only studied medical treatment in college for one year, and I have never been to any hospital for internship. I only have theoretical knowledge and no clinical experience." Asia pouted and said, "So as soon as she joined the army, her superiors were assigned to the health company to be a health officer."
When Lin Hua heard this, he raised his right hand and patted him gently on the jade hand that Asia held his left arm, comforted her and said, "Asia, don't worry, I believe that one day, you will be a military doctor!"
As the two were talking, two soldiers carrying rifles came towards us, which were mobile whistles deployed in this direction. Seeing Lin Hua coming towards us, the two hurriedly raised their hands to salute Lin Hua.
Seeing the intimate behavior between herself and Lin Hua, Asia was seen by two patrol soldiers, and hurriedly took it back from Lin Hua's arm with a gentle, almost undetectable movement.
Lin Hua stopped, raised his hand and returned the greeting, and asked the two soldiers: "How is the situation here?"
