565 The Hunter Arrives

Three minutes later, several patrol soldiers who were searching for assassins on the street came to the closed front door of the small restaurant.

The soldier walking in front frowned and peeked into the room through the window. Although there was no one in the restaurant, he still smelled a strong smell of blood and was floating out of the crack of the door.

It should be still in the restaurant's business hours, but the store inexplicably closed the door and did not have a sign of "suspended business".

"What's wrong..."

The patrolman muttered and tried to open the restaurant door, but found that the door of the house was locked. So he frowned and took a step back and issued an order to the two comrades behind him:

"Prepare to break the ball."

"receive."

The patrolmen were very efficient and quickly put small explosives on the door. The two of them leaned against both sides of the main door. After they were ready, they pressed the switch in their hands.

Bang!

The seemingly solid metal door fell back with smoke, and the three soldiers rushed directly into the empty restaurant, and then noticed that there were many splattering blood on the walls and floors of the house.

Realizing that he had entered a suspected murder scene, the patrolmen responded quickly and immediately blocked the restaurant and began to contact other nearby soldiers, preparing to block the entire area.

But before they even had time to take out the walkie-talkie, a deafening roar sounded in front of the door behind them.

The sound seemed to come from a fierce beast, almost shocking the soldiers in the restaurant. When they turned around in surprise, they found a terrifying cat beast that had appeared in the restaurant.

The beast was arching its back, and its sharp bone claws left torn scars on the floor. Its dark skin cracked a lot, revealing developed muscles that emitted green light.

On the vicious face surrounded by dark mane, the turbid brown eyes were constantly scanning the surroundings. The beast opened its bloody mouth full of sharp teeth, making hoarse and low voices to the shocked patrolmen in the room:

"I'll be responsible for...here."

"Yes, obey the order! Received!" The patrolmen said incoherently, and hurriedly turned around and left the restaurant, their facial muscles twitching constantly due to excitement.

They never expected that as one of the super-powered warriors who burned the leadership of the incineration agency, the famous "hunter" would appear here!

These patrolmen were also very excited to be able to witness their idols at close range, and couldn't help but regret why they didn't bring anything like cameras.

For them, the orders of the incineration mechanism are absolutely not to be disobeyed, and the "hunter" who is one of the four giants of the incineration mechanism is also awesome and terrifying idol!

Even soldiers directly under the burning agency did not know the true identity of the hunter. The ace members of the burning agency were completely mystics and would not disclose any information about their identity at all.

Because of this, it is completely impossible for soldiers to meet these "idols". Being able to get close to them and even speak is enough for these patrol soldiers to show off for a year.

In the extreme excitement, these patrolmen did not notice a strange fact: "hunters" usually go out at night and rarely appear on their own initiative during the day.

“…”

The fierce beast standing in the restaurant looked back and sniffed next to the dining table. The brown pupils shrank into a line, and bared their teeth and let out a low roar:

"It's you..."

The beast leaped, smashed the restaurant's concrete walls, rushed into the alley behind, followed the familiar smell tracked from the restaurant, and rushed towards the street on the east side.

"That's...a hunter, the hunter is here!"

Witnessing the huge dark shadows appearing on the street, the patrolmen all showed joyful expressions, while the passers-by on the street took a step back in fear, and all the things in their hands were scared.

The dark beast roared and rushed onto the sidewalk, knocking away the two pedestrians blocking the way, following the familiar breath and continuing to track quickly.

"Let's open..."

A rough cry broke out from the hunter's throat, which scared the passers-by on the sidewalk to retreat. Even the patrolmen who admired him had no intention of getting close. They simply worshiped the superpowered warriors who burned the mechanism and did not want to be torn to pieces by their idol's claws.

The hunter, who turned into a ferocious beast, rushed all the way across the street, directly crossing the intersection, causing a series of car accidents on the street. He moved forward quickly in the loud noise of metal impact, and then turned a corner again - he stopped in front of a warehouse.

The pungent spice smell entered the nasal cavity, and a large truck was reversing out of the warehouse. When the driver saw the beast in front of the door from the rearview mirror, he was so scared that he stepped on the brakes and stopped in place, and he didn't dare to leave.

“…”

Sniffing the irritating smell of dizzy chemicals, the hunter stood in place in silence, the bone spurs embedded on the outside of his limbs stood up, bared his teeth and roared, then turned and left without hesitation.

——The other party escaped his own tracking with the help of the strong smell that was enough to cover up all the smell in this spice factory warehouse. Although if he carefully searched for footprints, he could still continue tracking. But...

Under the terrified gaze of the truck driver, the hunter's figure disappeared into the shadow behind the warehouse. The oppressive beast finally left the street and disappeared.

...

At the same time, the boy who followed Lin Chi back to the apartment, took off his stuffy coat and threw it aside, and asked angrily: "Guardian, is this the residence to receive me? Is it too shabby?"

"Hold on, this is not your territory." Lin Chi said as he stood in front of the window and observed the movements on the street vigilantly.

"Why did you take me there just now? Are you afraid of the enemy's hound?" Zhen smiled proudly: "Since the Queen is here, what else can I be afraid of? Although I don't know where this is. But... the civilians and soldiers here don't seem to have much combat power, right?"

"You have never seen them look like at night." Lin Chi complained casually, then suddenly thought of another detail.

The alienation in the city is limited to ordinary citizens. The patrol soldiers who burn the incinerator also live here, but they are not infected with the symptoms of alienation at all.

Except for the "Four Heavenly Kings" who burned the organs, other patrol soldiers in the city will not be alienated. I have never seen patrol soldiers who can be alienated. Those guys are still unscathed under the red light of the "wildfire", which just shows this.

——So, what is the matter with alienation?

According to Lin Chi's original idea, alienation of this disease is related to the incineration mechanism buried in the underground of the city. Perhaps they transported the radioactive waste from the Chernobyl nuclear power plant, which caused collective mutation among citizens. But...

If this is true, the patrol soldiers should also be affected by alienation. Only residents can alienate, but the patrol soldiers are not affected at all, which is simply unreasonable.

Could it be that there are other reasons for the occurrence of alienation?

While Lin Chi was thinking, the noisy sound from the living room rudely interrupted his thoughts:

"Little girl... let me go..." The corpse demon hung on the wall twisted his legs hard, and his rotten skin began to peel off: "I'm not...the enemy..."

"Why are there low-level creatures like zombies here?" Zhen frowned, as if she had remembered some bad memories. Her voice was filled with unconcealed anger, and she clenched her fists tightly:
