1. Golden Light

The sun mercilessly scorched the earth and the ocean. As soon as June entered, Hongyang City ushered in high temperatures.

Ao Muyang walked up to the dock and looked around casually. Just like when he left his hometown five years ago, dozens of ships were docked on the turbid sea surface, mostly rafts, sampans and small fishing boats, and large boats were rare.

This small wharf is called Longwangdu, and the village he lives in is called Longtou Village. The names of the two are closely related. According to legend, during the Ming and Qing Dynasties, a dragon appeared in Ao Muyang's hometown.

The dragon soared under the nine abyss of the deep sea, passed by the pier, leaving behind the name "Dragon King Ferry". Later, it ascended ashore, and the place where the dragon head was before it ascended became their village.

Ao Muyang had just passed the big legend in his mind since he was a child, and a small iron boat with an outboard was leaning on the dock.

As soon as the boat stopped, a 27 or 28-year-old black-faced young man shouted: "Ferry, ferry, Longtou Village, Shijia Village, Qiantan Town, are there anyone going? Those who want to go hurry up and buy tickets, and you won't wait for anyone to drive the boat!"

A travel team of about ten people walked over and someone asked, "Captain, how much does it cost to go to Qiantan Town?"

The young man looked at them and said in a muffled voice: "Forty dollars per person."

Another person asked, "It's so expensive? How much does it cost to go to Wangjia Village?"

"Is this expensive? It's a nonsense! Go to Wangjia Village for one hundred yuan!" The young man left a quote, lowered his head and began to clean up the cables.

The tourists heard the response in his tone. Someone was dissatisfied and said, "Don't think that we are just a fool from other places. Wangjia Village belongs to Qiantan Town. It's not far from the town. Why is it so much different?"

The black-faced young man said without raising his head: "If you like, just sit there. Anyway, go to Qiantan for 40 and go to Wangjia Village for 100."

He said this very violently, and the people around him who were about to take the boat looked ugly.

Ao Muyang walked up quickly and asked with a smile: "Brother Chuan, where are you going to Longtou Village?"

The young man still didn't look up, but his attitude improved. He said: "Longtou Village is cheap, only 20 yuan, and he will introduce the village's fishing house for free. It will definitely not cheat people."

Ao Muyang took out twenty dollars and handed them to him, sighing, "There are only a few years, and the prices have risen so much. When I went to Kyoto, I remember that it would be five dollars every time."

The young man raised his head after hearing his words, and then shouted in surprise: "Damn it! Yangzi? The damn it? You, when did you come back?"

As soon as the young man appeared, Ao Muyang recognized him. He was a good friend in his village, named Ao Fugui. They had been playing with big things since childhood.

He patted his buddy on the shoulder and smiled and said, "I just came back. What kind of life will be like in two more days. I'll come back to accompany my parents."

After hearing his words, Ao Fugui's face darkened. He opened his mouth and closed it again, and finally whispered: "Okay, it's good to come back. You get on the boat quickly and we'll go home."

After Ao Muyang got on the boat, more than a dozen people followed him. They all paid twenty yuan in ferry fees and also followed him to Longtou Village.

After more than ten minutes, no one got on the boat again. The rusty-faced plug-in machine started to scream, and the old-fashioned iron boat drove into the wide ocean.

When Ao Fugui returned from collecting the passengers' money, Ao Muyang asked strangely: "Our village is not far from the town. It only took half an hour to walk past the ground. Why did you charge half of the money?"

Ao Fugui pursed his nose and smiled honestly, saying, "You don't know Yangzi. In recent years, the town and the village have been engaged in fishing houses. There are several in our village. Save half of the money, so everyone is willing to take a boat to our village. In this way, someone will take the way to have a meal at our village's fishing house."

Ao Muyang understood and said, "You are still as kind-hearted as before."

The Dragon King Ferry is about 25 kilometers away from the pier of Longtou Village. The outboard of the iron boat is insufficient and the speed is very slow. It is good to be able to run seven or eight knots. This distance takes about an hour and a half to complete.

The distance of twenty-five kilometers is not far. If you walk from land, you can easily reach it in one hour even if you ride an electric bike.

However, his hometown has a very bad terrain. It is a rare area between mountains and seas in China. There are high mountains and ridges everywhere on the land. Many villages have no roads yet, so they can only pass through the sea if they want to travel.

Looking at the continuous high mountains on the shore, Ao Muyang asked: "I heard outside that there is a project in the country called "Village and Village" that specializes in building roads for rural areas. Is there no roads in our village?"

Ao Fugui kicked the boat board with a cigarette in his mouth. He said in a depressing manner: "It cannot be repaired. The government said the price is too high, and we have a boat ferry again, so we have not repaired it."

After hearing this, Ao Muyang shook his head.

They can indeed fly by boat, but every household is a small boat, and it takes an hour and a half from the village to the dock, not to mention going to the city. If a child goes out to school or has a headache or fever, he will have to lose half his life if he wants to go to the hospital.

While chatting, he looked around. There were no boats in the shallow waters nearby, only some small sampans floated on the sea.

After more than ten minutes, a trawler fishing boat with white paint appeared on the sea. Ao Muyang said casually: "This boat is good, whose family?"

Ao Fugui looked at it and his expression changed. He said hatefully: "That's a big deal. It's a ship from Wangjia Village. It's so unlucky that you will meet them this time!"

Wangjia Village and Longtou Village are neighboring villages, and there is a lake between the two villages.

As the saying goes, distant relatives are worse than close neighbors, and this does not apply to these two villages.

In Ao Muyang's memory, there is a feud between the two villages, and it is related to the legend he just remembered.

It is said that before the dragon ascended, he touched his head on the ground and spitted a spiritual spring to the west of the land. The spring water later turned into a lake called Ambergris.

Many people saw it at that time, and several families rushed over to live in this land covered with dragon energy.

Everyone wanted to live here, but the land was too small to live in so many families, so the families fought for it.

The winner in the end was Ao Muyang's ancestors. They lived on the land that Longtoudian, while other families stayed on the east side of Ambergris Lake and formed a village called Qixun Village.

After hundreds of years of development and integration, the Wang family surpassed the other six families and became the largest in the local area, renamed the village Wangjia Village.

The two villages initially competed for the land of Longtou Village, but later they began to compete for the fishing catches in Ambergris Lake, and later they also competed for the fishing catches in the ocean.

In this way, the struggle lasted for hundreds of years and eventually turned into a feud.

Ao Fugui turned the rudder with a gloomy face and wanted to turn, but the fishing boat in Wangjia Village came specifically towards him. His boat was too old and worn, and the fishing boat that drove was a new type of trawler. The speed and flexibility were much worse, so they easily approached.

The trawler in Wangjia Village should have just been bought. The hull is covered with white paint and bright tiles. The ship's name is written under the side of the ship's side: Tutulong!

Two boats approached, and there was a young man standing on the bow of the trawler. After approaching, he shouted loudly: "Ao Fugui, you are a traitor and doing private operations? You are so bold and you are looking for death..."

The young man started to curse. Ao Muyang looked at him and interrupted him and said, "Wang Dongliang? Be cleaner. I haven't seen you for a few years. Why are you getting back more and more?"

This young man named Wang Dongliang is his middle school classmate, and his father is the village director of Wangjia Village. He has a bad temper since childhood.

When he was in school, he was jealous of Ao Muyang's good grades and popularity, and often went to cause trouble, but as long as he didn't have too many helpers, he would be dealt with miserably every time.

Hearing his words, Wang Dongliang was stunned. He looked at him carefully and said with a smile: "Oh, who is this? A top student in No. 1 Middle School? I haven't seen you for several years, and I thought you were dead. By the way, your parents haven't seen you for several years, where have they been?"

This was very unpleasant. Ao Fugui next to him changed his face. He reached out to pick up the harpoon on the bow and roared: "X, grandson, I'll kill you!"

Ao Muyang was even more angry. If Wang Dongliang dared to say this face to face, he would definitely beat him so that he would not even recognize his own mother.

But now it is impossible to do something. The other party's trawler was one or two meters taller than their tin boats, and there were more people on the boat, so anger was useless.

Squeezing his anger, he pressed Ao Fugui's shoulder and said in a deep voice: "Just pretend to be a barking dog, and then deal with him."

Seeing that Ao Muyang was not angry, Wang Dongliang seemed to find it meaningless. He returned to the cockpit and personally controlled the rudder. He shouted lazily: "We've all sat firmly, let's go..."

The trawler slowly accelerated and left behind the iron boat, but just as their bow approached, the bow of the fishing boat suddenly turned slightly and hit the bow of the iron boat!

The iron boat was not stable, and it shook violently after being hit. Ao Muyang, who was standing at the bow of the boat, did not stand firm. His body staggered, and his head hit the harpoon raised by Ao Fugui next to him, and his forehead was immediately cut into a big hole!

Only a slight pain was felt, Ao Muyang subconsciously covered his head. But at this moment, the fishing boat hit the iron boat again!

The iron boat shook even more violently. The passengers on the boat were hit and fell to the ground. Ao Muyang couldn't stand firm in pain and fell into the sea.

He was not panicked after falling into the sea. Which fishermen who grew up on the sea has been proficient in water since childhood?

In addition, Ao Fugui, who was standing beside him just now, jumped down and reached out to hold his arm to pull him out of the water.

But at this moment, a golden light appeared in Ao Muyang's vision!

The golden light is only the size of a thumb, and the light is soft, like a firefly. It swims quickly in the sea, its trajectory is chaotic, and finally hit Ao Fugui's back.

Then, something that surprised Ao Muyang happened. This golden light actually passed through Ao Fugui's body and kept hitting him at a very fast speed, hitting the injured place in the middle of his forehead!

Just when he was wondering what this golden light was, his brain suddenly felt like an electric shock, and then he found in horror that he could not control his body.
