Chapter 78 The Fight

A few days later a vicious fight occurred in the base. The chapters are updated the fastest

If it is just an ordinary fight, it is no big deal. After all, there are thousands of people in this base, and there are also mixed with public security, armed police and soldiers who have fought on the battlefield. It is not the same thing to have some friction and fights in normal times.

The reason why this fight was serious was that an armed policeman fired a gun... At that time, the armed policeman named Xu Xiong had an argument with a policeman and did not let each other go. Then the armed policeman, who was angry, drew out his pistol and shot at the policeman. Fortunately, his comrades next to him were quick-witted and pushed the gun into the sky with one hand, otherwise he would really die.

This caused a sensation in the entire base. Xu Xiong was immediately locked up by a weapon.

Needless to say, no one can help Xu Xiong with such a big deal. He was soon escorted to the military court for trial, and what awaited him was likely to be in prison.

Our base also conducted several days of ideological education for the first time, and made a profound review of this phenomenon of pulling a gun towards one's own comrades.

But what the soldiers at the base don’t know is that this incident is actually a play we performed. This armed policeman named Xu Ran deliberately chose a policeman with a bad temper and then deliberately pulled out his gun.

However, the irritable policeman was frightened by his actions. In fact, he didn't have to worry at all. We decided this guy Xu Ran after thinking about it many times. There are several reasons why we chose him.

One reason is that he has been on the battlefield to fight wars, which means that he has seen big scenes and will not be scared to the point of being at a loss when some situations such as gunfights between police and gangsters or gunfights between two drug dealers.

Secondly, because he ranked first in all his grades during training at the base, such as physical fitness, shooting, adaptability, observation ability, etc. Among them, especially observation ability and adaptability. According to Captain Chen, this type of subject should be relatively secondary to the armed police, and the main one for the public security, because the public security has to observe drug dealers in the dark and even deal with drug dealers directly. The armed police usually use guns to deal with drug dealers.

But even so, Xu Ran, as an armed police, is still much better than the public security in these aspects.

For an undercover agent, sometimes observation ability and adaptability are more important than military quality, so we basically locked in the candidate for Xu Xiong to invade the drug dealer organization.

But the reason why I finally chose Xu Xiong among more than ten public security and armed police was because he was once captured by the Vietnamese Japanese on the battlefield.

No need to think about it. This must be an unusual experience. I know that the methods of the Japanese devils are captured. If they are just soldiers, they may get some pleasure, because the Japanese devils feel that the soldiers have no intelligence value to them. But if they are officers, they will use inhuman means to torture them.

Unfortunately, Xu Xiong was a deputy company commander in the army... This caused Xu Xiong torture. When his comrades captured the hill where Xu Xiong was imprisoned, they found that a circle of rusty wire had been deeply embedded in his lower body, which had begun to rot and could not be relieved.

But even so, Xu Xiong still said nothing.

I believe that this spirit is equally important for an undercover agent.

The reason is very simple. When you are undercover, you also have to bear all kinds of coercion and temptations. It can even be said that such coercion and temptations are even more difficult to resist. For example, after entering the drug dealer organization, you have a good life, or you have a lot of things you have never had before, or you are lost in the brotherhood of drug dealers, etc.

Simply put, if the undercover position is not firm enough, you will likely be rebellious after a long time in that environment, or you will hope to please both sides.

Therefore, Xu Xiongcai stood out among many candidates and became an undercover candidate, but this seems not a good thing for him.

As we can imagine, when telling Xu Ran the process he had to endure as an undercover task, Xu Xiong flatly refused without thinking.

"Battery Commander!" Xu Xiong said in embarrassment: "If you assign me other tasks, even if you let me go to the battlefield to fight against the Vietnamese Japanese, then I, Xu Xiong, wouldn't frown. But this made me lie in prison and get close to those drug dealers and even get together... What would you think about my family? Why did you ask my family to raise their heads in front of the villagers! Battalion Commander, I have a 70-year-old mother in my family. If she knew this... she would be angry to death!"

I can understand what Xu Xiong said. In fact, this is the heroic nature of a soldier. They would rather give up their lives than give up their honors. Especially a soldier with military medals on them, now not only wants them to take these honors, but also make them a criminal. This psychological contrast with society is too great and too difficult to bear.

"Comrade Xu Xiong!" the instructor advised: "We will try our best to take care of your family, and didn't we just say it? The undercover mission is not long, two years or one year, and maybe even shorter. As long as you can effectively root the drug organization, you can return to the army, and we can rehabilitate you..."

"Comrade Xu Xiong!" I interrupted the instructor and said, "I won't say much about the rest. I just want to say that you have the power to choose, that is, you can refuse this task. But before you refuse, I hope you can think of the people who are poisoned by drugs, and the public security and armed police who risk their lives to investigate drug dealers. It is precisely because we have no undercover agents that we cannot know more information and accurate information that millions of public security and armed police are risking their lives to do useless work, and the drugs spread uncontrollably among the people. And all of this may be avoided because of you!"

After I said this, Xu Xiong became silent.

After so many years in the army, I know very well that if I want to convince these soldiers, it is not about what kind of benefits they will give or what prospects they will give, but about how many people they can save and what consequences they will have if they don’t do it. So even if they want to refuse, they will be unable to say it because of guilt.

Sure enough, after a long silence, Xu Xiong threw the cigarette butt to the ground hard and said, "Just do it!"

I patted Xu Xiong on the shoulder with apologies and said, "Prefer life safety first. Once there is a tendency to be discovered by the enemy, come back immediately. Do you understand?"

"I understand!" Xu Xiong stood up and responded.

Actually, I said this in vain. If it was time to go, I was afraid that Xu Xiong would find it difficult to get out.

So a carefully planned undercover plan was launched like this. No one knew about this plan except for the few of us captains and the direct person in charge of the police.

After Xu Xiong was sent to military court for trial, he would soon be expelled from the military and then be prosecuted for attempted murder and imprisoned. The subsequent events would be like modern movie plots. He would be intentionally arranged in the sight of drug dealers, and would soon be mixed with these drug dealers, and then he would escape from prison.

Such an arrangement has long been used for modern people, but in this era... the police basically never used drug dealers, of course they didn't know that there was another trick.

Under this premise, we can make good use of Xu Xiong's relationship. For example, we can disclose some information about the public security at the beginning to let Xu Xiong know, so that he can make several contributions in the drug dealer organization to be reused or appreciated, and for example, we can also use Xu Ran to provoke disputes among drug dealer organizations and let them kill each other, etc.

Of course, it would be far from enough for us if we just arranged Xu Xiong to be an undercover agent.

You should know that drug dealers are blooming everywhere now. If only one person is allowed, then the information we can get is limited, and the drug dealers that can be attacked is also limited.

In fact, I don’t agree with what the instructor said just now, especially what the instructor said, “Just uproot the drug organization” and so on. I think the instructor simplifies the problem. He thought that as long as we can uproot a larger drug dealer organization, they will be gone or controlled.

But the reality is that it is almost impossible to completely ban this thing, because there are huge benefits there, and it can even be said that the more drug we fight, the greater the benefits we have.

This may seem incredible, but it is true.

For example, if we have effective drug control, it will directly lead to too many drugs flowing into China, and a large number of drugs are reduced, but drug users will not decrease or even increase. This will lead to a market effect of "scarcity is expensive" in the market economy, that is, drug prices have risen sharply.

There is no need to say more about the result of the sharp rise in drug prices, which is that it will cause more and more drug dealers to take risks and risk being caught by us to test the law.

So we can only control this thing within a certain range and cannot completely eliminate it. In other words, this undercover agent has always needed it, and it will not be like the instructor said that it will only take two years or even less time to uproot the drug organization and end it.

It is precisely because of this that our training of undercover must be a continuous and uninterrupted process, and the number cannot be small. Only in this way can we avoid the situation of being in the undercover field.

Of course, we can't say that every time we want to train undercover, we will let the public security or armed police commit a little and then beat them to prison. Drug dealers are not fools, and they will doubt it if they have more times!
