Chapter 322 Preparation

"Huh~!" A ball of shells with black flames flew over Charles' head and smashed heavily on the greenhouse behind him, leaving a large hole with black smoke.
The islanders suddenly heard the exclamations and screams from the cave.
It was the shells fired by the diving shipwreck. Although I don't know what was wrapped in it, it was dangerous and fatal.
Hopefully the Navy will naturally not watch this. Whether it is the turret on the shore or the steamboats on the sea, they quickly turned their muzzles and began to attack the wreck.
In the cold sea water, as bubbles continue to roll, more wrecks continue to float.
For a moment, the entire sea surface was in chaos, with gunfire and cannons constantly. The islands around the Hope Island suddenly became boiling.
"Mr. Charles, are we going to help?" Lily, who was caught in the palm of her hand, asked with her head raised.
Staring at the head of the motionless octopus on the ship, Charles shook his head.
"No hurry, the other party doesn't mean to have a decisive battle as soon as they come up. Let's take a look at the overall situation first."
Charles rushed towards the east as he stepped on the greenhouse.
Soon they came to the easternmost part of Hope Island, and Charles used his black blade to cut the thick greenhouse and jumped down.
Below is a towering square white building, with people in blue naval uniforms walking around quickly.
Charles' arrival immediately made the guards below take out a pistol and point it at once, but when he saw that it was his own Governor, he immediately stood firm and saluted.
Charles ignored them and hurried towards the command center.
"Beep...beep..." The telegram kept coming to Charles' ears. In front of this underground command room of more than 100 square meters, at least a dozen telegrams quickly accepted news from coming to other places on the island or on the ship.
Feuerbach followed several men in military uniforms and stood in front of a huge sand table and kept watching.
It was a simple Hope Island model, and the number and offensive of enemies around it were quickly marked.
"The enemy landed on the island at 4 o'clock! The first line of defense has been broken!"
"Send a telegram to Director James and ask them to dispatch the police from the two squadrons to block it. As long as they hold on for a few minutes, the support of nearby warships will arrive soon."
After a bearded man shouted loudly, he quickly deduced with his right palm, which had a few fingers missing.
The other four who did the same thing as this bearded man. They were directing the entire battle situation in an orderly manner and had a very tacit understanding of each other.
"Captain, why are you here?" Feuerbach still looked relaxed, and there seemed to be no tension in the war.
"What's the overall situation? Is it okay?" Charles asked, looking at the ever-changing deduction chart.
"Of course it's okay. Just like I told you a few days ago, we are fully prepared. These monsters will capture our island and dream about it."
"Being spiritual, don't forget that they are not humans. If the island is captured, all men will be sacrificed to their evil gods, and all women, regardless of age, will be used as tools of reproduction by them."
"The problem is that this situation is, I can't help much. Look, the five veterans in front of me who have participated in dozens of naval battles. In terms of military strategy, they are definitely more useful than me." Feuerbach smiled at Charles and introduced the five battle commanders in front of him.
"Have the family members considered it? They are not moving now, maybe they are plotting something."
The bearded man who was commanding stood up and said to Mr. Charles: "The lookout has reported their current position. I have asked the people from the three departments of the police station and the good players in the navy to temporarily form a tough team and focus on them specifically, and it is absolutely foolproof."
"Don't let go of your guard, the other party's individual strength is very strong."
The bearded man was not polite at all, "Governor General, please leave professionals to professionals to solve the problem. Instead of causing trouble here, you might as well ask the geniuses of the God of Light why there was no movement at all. Only you can ask about this situation."
"They didn't do it?" Charles, who was frowning, immediately turned around and rushed towards the church of the Church of Light.
Looking at Charles's back as he left, Feuerbach walked to the bearded man with a smile and patted his big belly with his hand.
"Be kind to the Governor, after all, he is our head."
"Can you fight a good fight with a polite situation? Do you still care about these things that matter at stake? The only thing a soldier shows himself is real military achievements, not some messy things." After saying that, the bearded man continued to look at the battle situation in front of him.
Feuerbach shrugged, not saying anything.
After a while, the telegraph soldiers next to him immediately reported: "The ships of the God of Light have all gone out to sea and have fought with the fishmen."
The bearded man slapped the table with excitement, "It's great. I inform Brigadier Jimmy to let him retreat first. We must prepare some warships for dispatch."
Charles stood on a roof and watched airships flying up the sky in front of him, and warships drove into the sea.
Cardinal Huhn stood beside him and said with a hint of flattery: "Governor Charles, we originally wanted to help, but seeing that the navy's layout had been opened, we did not join in the fun, afraid of disrupting your combat plan."
Charles turned his head and looked at the old man with white hair. He didn't plan to tell whether the other party was true or false. "How long will your pope come?"
Although the battle situation seemed to be stalemate, Charles still had no idea. If the powerful pope arrived, it would have a final result.
"It should be soon, I'm sorry, you know, the Holy Light Cathedral is too far from Hope Island, and there are no currents between them."
Charles sighed slightly, and it was true that he still had to rely on himself at this time.
After quickly identifying the position, he put Lily in his hand on the ground and quickly walked towards the nearest family.
His own strength is also good. Instead of waiting here, it would not bring any changes to the entire battle situation.
Lily ran on all four feet and seemed to want to keep up, but Charles quickly threw it away.
"Go back to the island and let your mice come out from the sewer to help guard the shore!" Charles said without looking back.
