Chapter 355 Blindness

Darkness, eternal darkness is everything in front of Charles. Time has passed for a while. Charles thought he could adapt, but he still couldn't adapt.

A soft palm gently lifted the back of his head, and a cold iron bowl was delivered to his mouth.

Charles smelled a familiar fishy smell. "What medicine is this?"

"Human blood promotes wound healing."

"Drinking blood has this function?"

"Others are useless, but your body can."

Hearing this, Charles opened his mouth and drank it directly.

He didn't know whether it was good or bad, but his body seemed to be getting closer to vampires in all aspects because of the excessive use of the mirror.

"If I become a vampire, will my eyes be restored?" A ridiculous idea appeared in his mind.

Just as Charles was in a mess, he felt Linda removing his bandage and changing his dressings.

When it was removed to the legs, Charles reached out and pinched the broken leg that was connected.

When he felt the obvious pain, Charles breathed a sigh of relief. "It's okay, Linda's craftsmanship is good, and this leg is saved."

He reached out to the bedside table on the left side of his body to search, and a woman's hand brought the folded paper over.

When he touched the surface chart with his hand, Charles smiled a little. This was his way home.

From the doctor's tablet, we can know that the foundation will communicate with the outside world. Since it is written on the surface exit, the location of the chart here is definitely not wrong.

"If Anna knew about this news, she would probably be very happy."

"Captain, what do you want to eat? I can help you with it." Linda asked while changing the bandage.

Charles was a little surprised. He had never heard of the Narwhal's diseased meal before. "No, I'll be fine if the crew eats the same."

Immediately afterwards, Charles felt the footsteps next to him walking from his left to his right, and a hand suddenly rested on the base of his thigh.

"Captain, are you a little panicked when you haven't gotten ashore for such a long time? Do you want me to help you solve it?"

The cold voice contained the meaning, which scared Charles trembled all over, "What...what does it mean? Are you interested in me?"

"No, I just feel that if you feel uncomfortable, I want to help you."

"Linda, you... are you okay?" Charles' voice hesitated.

"Of course I'm fine, really don't need it?"

"It really doesn't need to go to the cockpit and see who is at the helm now, and ask how long it will take to go back to Hope Island."

Charles breathed a sigh of relief when he heard Linda's steps gradually fading away.

Linda is a believer in the Church of Light, and she cannot lie. Since she says she doesn't like herself, it's definitely not, but why is this woman a little weird?

After thinking quickly, Charles suddenly realized that there was a hint of guilt in her voice just now.

"What's guilt? Is guilt not cured my eyes?"

When Charles's good mood slowly faded when he thought of his eyes.

He reached out his hand and slowly slashed the bandage in front of him, pressing it gently, and there was nothing in his eyes.

"Why are the eyes...there are other places."

"Those guys who do prosthetic business should be able to make prosthetic eyes that can see things, right?" Charles couldn't help but feel uneasy.

He didn't know the actual technology of those people, and he had to know that things like eyes were extremely sophisticated, and it would be understandable if they couldn't do it.

As he kept thinking, Charles fell asleep in a drowsy way, and his body needed rest.

The crew seemed to know that Charles' mood would not be much better in this situation, and did not disturb him too much.

Because he had no eyes, Charles had been living this kind of life day and night. He didn't know how long the time had passed, and the only thing he could know was that the injuries on his body were healing quickly.

When he heard the whistle of the steamboat outside the window and the lively voices of the dock, he could get out of bed and walk around.

Holding the cold scales on Dipp's arm, Charles walked off the Narwhal.

He heard panic striking noises keep ringing on the left, which was the people who hoped that the island would greet him, and everyone's eyes were on the bloody bandage on Charles' face.

Charles tilted his head slightly towards Dipp. "I don't have time to deal with them, so take me back to the Governor's Mansion first."

"Yeah!" Dipp raised his gun directly to the crowd that rushed up. "Baoba!!" "Get out of here! The captain doesn't want to see you now!!"

The voices of people became even more noisy, but this time the sound was quickly moving away.

He returned to the Governor's Mansion in the car, Dipp helped Charles to keep busy, with excitement on his ugly face. He felt that he was needed by the captain again.

"Okay, don't be busy. Go to the cafe on the 1st floor of No. 48, Island Heart District, and call those who are wearing prosthetics, saying that I was looking for them."

"Okay! I'll go find them right away!!" Dipp, excited, rushed out like a gust of wind.

With his hands touching the cushion woven from tough spider silk under him, Charles took a breath and then took out the map in his arms and stroked it carefully with his hands.

Suddenly, Charles heard something happening at the door, "Who?" He turned his ears to the other side with his vigilant eyes.

Who knew that the man came directly to Charles and reached out to pull the bandage on Charles' face away.

Smelling the familiar smell of wine, herbs and sweat odor, a smile appeared on Charles' face. "How is it? Is there a way to cure it?"

"Aren't you pretty good before? Why did you suddenly become like this? Why did you suddenly get so seriously injured?" The doctor's voice was annoyed.

"Who is right about exploring the island? To be honest, it's good to be able to come back alive this time. By the way, let me tell you a good news. Look, this is a map of the surface exit."

The doctor's tone didn't sound at all happy. He patted the armrest of the wheelchair with his right hand. "Oh! Keep looking for death! One day you can die in front of me."

"How could it hurt your eyes!" Another sound at the door exploded. This time, Charles was surprised. It was the pope's voice. He could hear the extremely anxious voice.

"What did you do? How could you hurt your eyes? What about the eyeball? Where is your eyeball?" The old voice sounded very irritable.

"I don't know, I guess I've thrown it to the island."

The pope's roar was almost about to lift the ceiling. "Take it on the island! Why not take it back! What if there is hope for repair!! Is your brain a mess!"
