Chapter 458 Negotiations
"Dadada" Charles and others stepped on the smooth floor with dirty mud boots.
Surrounded by a bunch of black combat uniforms, Charles walked forward.
They are now located in a huge underground garage, but there is no car around them.
The suffocation in the lungs has become much lighter, but rather than saying that the symptoms have become milder, they have begun to get used to it.
Charles, holding a diary in his hand, looked at the "seal" beside him.
This is a strong man of 1.9 meters. His muscles and equipment cannot be concealed. His face is a national-shaped face, and his eyes are full of tenacity under his short hair.
"Are you a contingent? Look at your equipment, you seem to be very skillful in dealing with all kinds of abnormalities." Charles asked to the "Seal".
A hint of surprise appeared in the other person's eyes, but he did not choose to communicate with Charles.
The group walked to the deepest part of the garage, but there was nothing here except a wall.
The "Seal" stepped forward and quickly lit it with his right hand with his finger-exposed gloves. "Drip~Drip~"
Charles wanted to use his own light to peek at what the other party was typing, but he found that the other party used his body to cover the place tightly.
"Puchi~" A door cracked from the wall, revealing a classroom-sized space.
"Boom~!" The sudden explosion made the garage lights start to turn light and dark.
"Get in quickly, they are back." The Seal said as he led the team members into the first place.
After Charles took a look at the way he came, he followed the crew with him.
As the door closed, Charles immediately noticed two triangle buttons, one forward and one reverse, which was an elevator.
The "seal" gently pressed the inverted triangle button, and the elevator began to slowly move downward after a slight shock.
"What were those things just now? Why did those war opportunities have animal wings?" Charles tried again at the seal.
The other party was still unmoved.
"I don't tell me this? At least we were fighting together just now, so we are considered comrades."
Hearing Charles say this, the "Seal" paused slightly and said, "What they are is not something I think about, and my duty is to kick them back when they appear again."
"What? They can't kill them?" Charles asked with clues.
The seal shook his head, "No, they can kill them, but every time, these bed bugs will appear again, they are like a group of immortal ghosts above No. 68."
"It cannot be destroyed, and with their weird appearance, did the Foundation create some special relics when it was experimenting with some kind of relics?" Charles speculated randomly.
He thought for a few seconds and then reached out his hand at the seal, "My name is Charles, I'm glad to know you."
The seal glanced at Charles, and Kaoru had his hands firmly held it. "Parker, I don't know how you outsiders knew about the task force, but you guessed it."
As soon as Parker finished speaking, he was wearing a "ding~" body, and the elevator opened. The sea water inside instantly wades out, and there is no water outside.
Before Charles could enjoy the pain of free breathing again, dense red dots quickly aimed at the location of his eyebrows and heart.
Outside the elevator, under the huge searchlights that provide strong lighting, there were more than a hundred task forces holding various guns. It was obvious that they had communicated a long time ago.
"Please hand over your weapons and cooperate with the investigation." Parker's hard tone could imagine what would happen if he refused.
The various weapons carried by Charles and others were quickly disarmed and immediately detained.
In a bright white room, Charles, who had taken off his coat, sat there waiting for something.
He looked down at the silver electronic lock that had been handcuffed to himself, and nodded in approval.
The craftsmanship is good, and the possibility of them being descendants of the foundation is one more layer, so the possibility of keys being on the island is greatly increased.
Charles raised his head and looked at a smooth mirror on the wall in front of him. "How long will you look behind you? I just can't understand who I am. Send someone to talk."
"Bang!" The mirror instantly turned transparent, and a group of men and women who were waiting for it appeared in front of Charles. They had been observing Charles since the beginning.
"Listen to Captain Parker, your name is Charles? Can you talk to me?" A soft female voice came out of the corner of the wall.
Charles did not see anyone else in the crowd in front of him talking to him.
"You are the foundation? What exactly happened on the surface?" Charles went straight into it.
The woman's voice paused for a while and then came again. "Now I'm asking you a question."
Then Charles saw that his diary was laid on the glass. "What are these words? Where did you learn them?"
"Can you answer my question first? How long have you been here? Are you observing the situation outside?"
In the next fifteen minutes, both sides talked to each other, and neither side received any useful information.
The woman's voice seemed a little impatient, "Charles, I don't want to do this, but if you continue like this, don't blame me for taking the backup method."
"Sher~" Charles was shook by the high voltage electricity coming from his handcuffs.
"Answer, answer, my question!" The woman's voice said word by word.
Charles thought that being friendly would bring about the possibility of communication, but if this situation continues, he may not find any clues. He hates being treated like a beast.
Charles lowered his head and smiled and stood up. He walked to the glass window and pressed his face on it.
"Hey, you turned this diary to the penultimate page where I have some stuff recorded."
The man holding Charles' diary was a little surprised. When he turned to the second page, he found a twisted tentacle monster painted on it.
Charles raised his prosthetic limb and tapped it gently on the glass window. "Shirt, come to Dad."
Under everyone's horror, a green eye squirming with the liquid stuck to the liquid crawled out of the paper, and the painting became real!
"Shisheshesheshesheshesheshes~" The handcuffs in Charles's hand instantly emitted a high-voltage current, as if they wanted to stop Charles.
However, as the white arc on Charles' body quickly hit and a skeleton of black smoke rose, the electronic lock was instantly scrapped.
A harsh alarm sounded, and dark red light kept flashing on the ceiling, which was a bit like the foundation's containment site project was out of control.
There was a rumbling sound, and the thick glass instantly broke all over the ground, and a huge flash floated in front of Charles. "Dad, where is this?"
Charles patted her tentacles with his hands, "Let's go, let's tell them what true equal communication should be like."
Charles jumped into the surveillance room full of broken glass and walked out the door.
When he led Shining through the corridor to a circular square, he saw a contingent including Parker surrounded him.
"Go ahead, have fun with them, remember not to let them die."
