Chapter 59 The Adventures of a Small Plane

The group took off their luggage and equipment from the plane and drove a pickup truck from a distance.

"Haha, Professor Miles, welcome you back to Honduras again." A lean white man got out of the car and shook hands with the professor enthusiastically.

"Hello, Terry." The professor was very happy to work with someone he knew.

He looked up and down at Li and Jessica, shook his head with his lips and said to the professor: "Professor, the rainforest is not a good teaching place. I hope you have bought them enough personal accident insurance."

After saying that, he helped them put their luggage in the back. Lee shrugged at Jessica and ignored his contempt for them. They both looked like thrill-seeking boys and girls in the metropolis.

Arriving at a hangar in the truck, Terry began to busy loading his luggage onto another small plane.

"Is it okay to just put your luggage on the plane?" Jessica asked curiously.

"Don't worry, the airport security guards will shoot directly when they see strangers. Everyone in Honduras has guns, so the security guards' weapons are the best, and there are machine guns at the door." Terry saw the beauty asking, and smiled to reassure her, although this guarantee felt even more terrifying.

In the evening, everyone finished their meal and chatted in a hotel lobby near the airport. In the lobby of the hotel, there was a taxiderm crocodile specimen.

"Is there really a crocodile as big as this guy?" Jessica asked curiously.

"Wow, it's bigger than this. If you want to see animals that are not in the zoo, you've found the right place. There are strange animals in the jungle that you haven't seen before." Terry said while drinking.

After saying that, he turned his head and asked the professor: "Professor, are you really planning to hike to the Moskitia area?"

“Yes, is there any problem?”

"Nothing," Terry curled his lips, "I just heard that the Indian tribes there like to cut heads for trophy. If you can come back alive, you can bring me one as a souvenir."

After hearing this, Locke, who was wiping the gun, raised his head and smiled grimly, "I like this habit."

Looking at Rock's figure, Terry closed his mouth and continued to drink his wine.

Li ignored them and started talking to the old professor: "Professor Miles, there are only three people in your scientific research team. Is it enough?"

"It's okay, they are all assistants who have been with me for a long time. There is not much use in the rainforest, but it will become a burden." In contrast, the old professor was even more worried about Li and Jessica, but out of politeness, he didn't say it out.

Li nodded apologetically to the old professor's assistants Hal and Dom. They raised the wine glasses in their hands very friendly, and were not angry.

Early in the morning, airport.

"The passengers heading to the mysterious White City are on the plane!" Terry shouted, and at the same time accelerated the engine speed of his twin-engine Cessna.

Everyone got on the plane, and the small plane was bumping and slowly gliding along the lawn runway, gradually accelerating.

The plane rose lazily and gradually entered the mountainous area northeast of Tegucigalpa.

Looking at the towering peaks on both sides of the plane, Li asked worriedly, "Can we fly past the top of the mountain?" Of course, he could only shout with the roar of the engines on both sides.

"We can pass between the two mountains," Terry shouted comfortably, "Don't worry, I'm an old pilot who has been free of accidents for 10 years."

Nonsense! All those who had the accident died, Li cursed in his heart. When they rushed towards the daunting stone wall and ice and snow at full speed, Li had only one hope in his heart. This time, Terry must not "break the record".

In a blink of an eye, the stone wall in front seemed to retreat, and a mountain gorge unfolded in front of you. On both sides of the canyon, huge cliffs pressed down with a formidable momentum. Can the plane fly higher and completely avoid this danger?

Suddenly, the plane descended rapidly and the altimeter's pointer began to rotate.

"Hey! No!" Terry screamed, trying hard to get the falling plane to raise his head.

Finally, they broke free from the descent airflow, but in this way, the plane was only 500 meters from the bottom of the rocky canyon. Terry tried hard to get the plane up, but failed. In order to avoid the cliffs, the small plane flew sideways and circled again and again, exhausted and had no strength to fly upwards. Now, the only way is to fly along the bends of rock walls, and at the same time ask the God of Destiny to bless them not to encounter the descent airflow again.

Thankfully, the bottom of the canyon finally sank, and the hideous cliffs retreated, and they bowed their heads and accepted the loss. The small plane finally accelerated hard and rushed out of the canyon in victory and rushed into a new world.

Locke had been working on the map of Honduras. At this moment, he looked up and saw Jessica and Finley's faces pale, and asked as if nothing had happened: "Is something wrong?"

Li wanted to strip him alive. And the pilot who didn't care about anything, he really wanted to scold him for being so bloody. There was nothing he could do, the goddess of fate must have fallen in love with this young man!

The continuous forest under the wings is lush and lush. There is never a risk of drought here. The stream winding in the green field is like a winding silver path.

"Look, that pink cloud!" Jessica exclaimed, she couldn't believe her eyes.

Really, a colorful cloud floated over the forest.

"It's a butterfly," Professor Miles explained to her with a smile, "There are hundreds of thousands of butterflies. There is also a kind of cloud, which is lined up by parakeets. The clouds in this country have all colors - red, green, yellow, and colorful. You will know when you see the parrot clouds and turtle clouds. You will think you are looking at a picture of colorful colors."

Not long after continuing to fly forward, Terry was ready to land in a small village called Puyol at the end of civilized society.

On a grassy open space, the plane slowly stopped.

This is a campground next to the river. Without trees, the grass here is not that crazy. The village next to it is not far from here. Some children hid behind the trees and looked at the group of people curiously.

Terry helped everyone get the equipment onto a boat by the river, and waved his hand to say goodbye to everyone: "I will wait for you here for a month. If you don't come back, I will help you call Chicago."

With Terry's cursed farewell words, the expedition team drove away from the camp and drove downstream.

Atlanta, Georgia, USA, thousands of kilometers away.

On the grass in front of an ancient wooden villa, a tall old man lay lazily on his special huge lounge chair and was dozing. The sunlight shone between the leaves of the big tree above him, and the mottled light and shadow shook the old man's eyes and made him unable to fall asleep.

The old man sat up, felt the gentle breeze, and looked around with his eyes narrowed. There was not a single person on the street in the afternoon, only a red ribbon tied to the lamppost when the children were playing was floating in the wind, making a slight sound.

The old man smiled and shook his head. It's been a long time since he had eaten fresh chicks, so he could improve his food at night. He stretched out his slender arms, which was unusually ordinary, and yawned, ready to continue his nap.

With a squeak, the old man's expression solidified, his upper body was lying heavily on the chair, and there was a hole as thick as a finger in his temple. Dark red blood mixed with white things slowly flowed out of the hole.

Where his eyes that had lost focus were looking at him, a silver-white arrow slowly melted and merged with the lamppost it shot through, and no one could find any abnormality.

One kilometer away from the street park, on the tallest tree. Dana took his huge bow back into his body, jumped down, and patted John, who was dozing off under the tree, "Let's go, the task is completed."

John stood up sleepily, yawning while following Dana toward the car on the side of the road, muttering: "It's a waste of resources for an ogre to live in such a good place, but fortunately, from today on, the surrounding neighborhoods will not lose children so often."

Dana looked at the distance and said with a cold face: "It's cheap to let it die so happily. By the way, Hobbs, call David and ask him to finish it." After that, he got into the cab.

"Okay, I hope he likes this gift." The black guy in the back seat picked up the phone.
