Chapter 536 Department of Mysterious Affairs
Luke led the way through the space door and they came to a large circular room.
Everything here is black, including the ground and ceiling. The surrounding black walls are inlaid with many black doors, all of which are exactly the same, without markings and no handles. The walls are dotted with branched candles, the flames are blue, and the swaying cold light hits the shiny marble floor, making people feel that there is a dark water surface under their feet.
"This is the Mysterious Affairs Department? The environment is so gloomy and scary." Ginny said, looking around.
All they could see was the trembling blue flames on the wall and the gloomy shadows reflected on the ground. There were twelve doors around them, leading to different rooms.
"Where is Voldemort?" Harry didn't see the trap Luke said and the traces of Voldemort.
At this moment, with a loud rumbling, the candle began to move to the side. The round walls rotated. For a few seconds, the walls were spinning rapidly, and blue flames blurred around them like neon tubes. Then, as suddenly as at the beginning, the rumbling stopped and everything returned to calm.
"What's going on?" Ron asked in a low voice in fear.
"I think it's to prevent people from coming in from which door they came in." Ginny said in a low voice.
"Fortunately we couldn't use the door we left. There was Luke's space door. This kind of device was useless to us," said Harry.
"Where are we going, Luke?" Hermione looked at Luke.
"It seems that I have underestimated the power Voldemort has obtained. He has escaped my trap." Luke said in a deep voice as he looked at the empty hall in front of him.
"Voldemort ran away?" Harry said anxiously.
"No, but - he set another trap for us." Luke always used his mental power to feel the surrounding situation.
"What!" Everyone became nervous and gathered more tightly.
"We are in Voldemort's trap? These doors are isolated from the exploration of mental power and cannot sense the situation inside. However, the space door can be opened normally and we can leave at any time." Hermione also used mental power to warn her, but she did not notice any abnormalities around her.
"Don't worry, this trap is not dangerous, I just want to lead us to him. I want to see what Voldemort is playing, let's go." Luke strode towards the door opposite him, and the others followed closely behind.
Luke placed his left hand on the cold and shiny door, held the Yu sword in his right hand, guarding against the battle that might occur at any time, and then pushed hard.
The door opened all of a sudden.
After passing the darkness of the first room, they felt that the few lights hanging from the ceiling with gold chains made the rectangular room look much brighter.
The room was empty, with only a few tables, and a huge glass tank in the center, enough for them to swim inside, with dark green liquid inside, and many pearl white things drifting around lazily.
"What are these?" Harry asked in a low voice.
"Is it a fish?" Ginny asked softly.
"Shit maggot!" Luna said excitedly, "Dad said the Ministry of Magic is cultivating-"
"No." Hermione said, her voice was a little strange. She leaned forward and looked in through the wall of the box. "It's the brain."
"brain?"
"Yeah... they might be studying how to develop the brain."
This room must be the brain hall. The things in the water tank were shining with strange light, floating around in the depths of the green liquid, appearing and disappearing, looking like sticky cauliflower.
"Let's get out of here," said Harry. "It's not right here, we need to try another door."
"There are some doors here, too," Katie said, pointing to the surrounding walls. "How big is this place? I think we should go back and try again from there just now."
"No need to be so troublesome, everyone is waiting here." As he said that, Luke walked towards a wall.
Luke divided into two, four, eight... Each gate had several clones going to go at the same time.
"How come we forget his clone technique? It's going to be easier." Katie patted her head before thinking about this magic.
Luke's clones pushed open the door in front of them and walked in.
The room is bigger than the one just now, dimly lit, rectangular, sunken in the middle, forming a huge stone pit about twenty feet deep. The room is surrounded by rows of steps of stone benches, which extend downward at a very steep angle, much like a circular theater, and a bit like the Wiesengamor Courthouse.
But there was no chair with chains in the middle of the stone pit, only a high stone platform, with a stone arch standing on it, which looked very old, worn and decaying. There was no wall support around the arch, and there was a broken black curtain or curtain hanging on it. Although there was no breeze in the cold air, the curtain was fluttering gently, as if it had just been touched.
There were a series of low whispers from the curtain, and the sound became louder and louder.
Cold, pure death power? It's a bit like Phoebe's dark energy, but it's not quite the same, it's interesting. It seems that Voldemort will be solved in a while and I'm going to come here to study it.
In the room just now, everyone saw that several Luke's clones did not enter the door, but were checking something in front of a door.
"This door is sealed." Seeing everyone's confusion, Luke explained. Just when he was planning to let his clone enter the room with escape technique, his other clones had already found the Prophecy Hall. "We found it, let's go."
He walked towards a door first, and everyone held the wands tightly, and Hermione followed Luke with the ice staff.
They came to a very high hall, filled with tall shelves, with many small, gray glass balls. Under the reflection of the candlesticks on the shelves, the glass balls shone with dim light. It was like the circular room just now, the candlelight was also blue, and the room was very cold.
A few figures stood not far away, but they were not Luke's clone, but Voldemort and the Death Eaters.
"You guys are coming too slowly. I've been waiting for you for a long time." Voldemort said in a low and hoarse voice.
The little wizards looked vigilantly at the crowd not far away. Not many people stood with Voldemort, but Luke only knew Bellatrix Lestrange, and he did not know the remaining six.
"You are so confident that you can beat us?" Luke glanced at the people around Voldemort.
"Where is Dumbledore, I know he must have arrived, let him come out, kill you all first, I have more time to find the prophecy ball." Voldemort raised his lips and said with a sneer.
