Chapter 087 Family affairs, state affairs, and world affairs
Cao Peng's study is very tidy. At first glance, it doesn't look like a boy's room.
Even if there are house slaves following behind to clean up, the boy's room will inevitably be a little messy. But Cao Peng's study is not like that.
The study is located in a corner of Wubao, on a higher ground, with Longshan Mountain at its back.
Two rows of wing houses are built against the mountain, forming a unique semicircular shape. On one side of the mountain, there are green mountains and green waters; on the other side, there is a row of fences.
Facing the fence, among the green mountains and green waters, is an independent house. This is where Cao Peng's study is located.
It is said that this Wubao was originally owned by a wealthy man in Xu County. Later, the wealthy man stood in the wrong team and offended the powerful people at the time. He was falsely accused of having connections with Taiping Dao and had his entire family executed. After that, the Wubao was left vacant.
It was not reactivated until Cao Cao moved his capital to Xu County.
Overall, the structure of the Wubao is very reasonable and has a very obvious bookish feel.
This study is undoubtedly the most distinctive building in the entire Wubao. Cao Peng chose this place as his study, on the one hand because of the good terrain and wide view; on the other hand, because of its unique elegance, which is very suitable for Cao Peng.
My personal aesthetic point of view...
The two rows of wing rooms are where Wang Mai, Deng Fan and Xia Houlan live.
At this time, Xia Houlan was helping Cao hold the fire in the furnace shed, so the small courtyard became extremely quiet. Dian Wei took Deng Ji to lead the way, and Xun Yu followed behind them. He originally wanted to see Cao Cao.
The situation of Ji making a knife, but seeing Dian Wei's irritable look, he stopped urging him. They were all in Wubao anyway, so it was different where to go first. Besides, Xun Yu also wanted to see what happened to Dian Wei.
Wei looks like this.
"Uncle-Sun, is this your wife's brother's residence?"
Xun Yu walked into the small courtyard and immediately felt a unique atmosphere.
The study is very large, with a couplet written on both sides of the door. The first couplet is: the sound of wind and rain, the sound of reading, can be heard; the second couplet is about family affairs, state affairs, and world affairs, and caring about everything.
This was originally a couplet written by Gu Xiancheng, the leader of the Donglin Party in the Ming Dynasty, but now it was shamelessly plagiarized by Cao Peng.
To be honest, the words are ordinary and nothing surprising. But the content is profound. So when Xun Yu saw this couplet, he couldn't help but stop and stare at it, silent for a long time... According to legend, the couplet originated after the Five Dynasties.
During the Shu period, there were still more than 700 years from the end of the Eastern Han Dynasty. Xun Yu unexpectedly discovered that there seemed to be infinite mysteries in this small couplet, but he could not explain it clearly at the time.
Couplets, the study of antithesis.
This kind of language emphasizes parallel symmetry, and to a certain extent, it is quietly consistent with the Chinese binary concept of yin and yang.
Yi Zhuan says: One yin and one yang are called Tao.
There is also a saying in "Xunzi-Lun on Rites" that everything comes into existence when heaven and earth are combined, and changes occur when yin and yang are combined.
Huang Lao's silk book states: The way of heaven and earth consists of left and right, yin and yang...
If the literary form of couplets is placed in later generations, it will only be regarded as the inheritance of traditional culture. But it is unclear how many people can understand its meaning. Couplets, one on the left and one on the right, the upper couplet and the lower couplet, the yin and yang are combined.
If you only use half a couplet, it seems to have no meaning. But when the two are combined together, infinite mysteries suddenly arise, just like the yin and yang rotating together in the universe.
Xun Yu was a master, so he was naturally very familiar with the theory of yin and yang.
When he first read the content of the couplet, he didn't care. If the two couplets were not combined in one place, there would be nothing special about it... The wording was very straightforward and tacky, and it didn't seem to be on the table. But if the two couplets were combined,
Together, Xun Yu couldn't help but praise it.
"Uncle Sun, who wrote this?"
Deng Ji scratched his head, a little embarrassed.
He has been in Xudu for so long and has been helping Dian Wei with the affairs of the Huben Army. He really doesn't know much about what is happening in Wubao here.
So he stopped in front of the couplets and whispered after a moment: "Based on the handwriting, it seems to have been written by Ah Fu."
He is also a learned man, and he can see at a glance that this couplet is quite impressive.
In particular, the couplets are different from each other at first glance. Wind versus rain, home versus country, ear versus heart... Especially the overlapping words in conjunction, it is like hearing the sound of a book reading, which makes people gasp in admiration.
Is this really what Ah Fu did?
If it weren't for the fact that the handwriting of the couplets was indeed written by Cao Peng, Deng Ji couldn't believe that it was Cao Peng's doing. The reason is very simple. Deng Ji knew Cao Peng fairly well. When he was in Deng Village, Cao Peng seemed to
He didn’t know many words, and many of them were taught by Professor Deng Ji. But now, just looking at the clever use of words in couplets, Deng Ji thought that he couldn’t achieve such a stunning level...
"The sound of wind, rain, and reading are all in my ears!"
Xun Yu stood in front of the couplets and murmured to himself. Then his eyes turned and fell on the couplets next to him: "Family affairs, state affairs, world affairs, care about everything... What a spirit, what aspiration!"
Xun Yu stroked his palms and praised.
Dian Wei couldn't understand the mystery of this. At this moment, he was anxious to see what Cao Peng left for him.
"We're all here, let's go into the house and talk."
After that, he walked into the study room, and Xun Yu quickly followed.
At this time, Xun Yu no longer regarded Cao Peng as a simple young man, but as a genius with outstanding talents and intelligence.
He was very afraid that Dian Wei might damage something after entering the house. So he followed Dian Wei into the study room, and saw a bookcase placed in front of the window in the empty study. On the bookcase, there was a stack of bamboo slips and a bookcase.
Stacked linen paper, there seems to be something written and drawn on it.
Other than that, there are no other furnishings in the study.
Xun Yu turned to look at Deng Ji, meaning to ask: Why are there no books on your wife's brother's side?
Deng Ji gave a wry smile, walked over and picked up the scroll.
"We came here in a hurry, and we didn't have any books originally. Even the two volumes of books that Ah Fu usually reads were donated by others. I do have some books there, but it's a pity that Ah Fu has no interest in the law of criminal names, so he doesn't care about me.
I rarely pay attention to those books."
Xun Yu took it, unfolded it and glanced at it.
One volume of "Poetry", one volume of "Lun", and one volume of "Shangshu".
What really surprised Xun Yu was the writing on the corner of the scroll: "Lumen Mountain?"
He raised his head and looked at Deng Ji, "Uncle Sun, is it possible that your brother-in-law is a disciple of Lumen Mountain?"
Deng Ji nodded and shook his head.
"Afu had a chance to become a disciple of Lumen Mountain...but because he offended the Huang family of Jiangxia, he had to flee Nanyang in the end. He may never have a chance in this life."
To be valued by Lumen Mountain, this kid is indeed extraordinary!
Yingchuan is a place with a strong academic atmosphere. Although there are many aristocratic families, it still has an excellent academic atmosphere. Yingchuan Academy, in the late Eastern Han Dynasty, was a place admired by scholars all over the world. In the early years, the struggle between the party and the government
Li Ying, Chen Fan and others all came from Yingchuan Academy. Including Xun Yu and Guo Jia, they were also students of Yingchuan Academy. In contrast, Lumenshan private school was more serious in nature, and the name of Erpang was also very famous.
Of course Xun Yu also knew the reputation of Lumen Mountain, so he couldn't help but take a high look at Cao Peng.
"What is this!"
Dian Wei suddenly roared loudly.
He was holding a stack of ephedra paper in his hand, with many strange shapes drawn on it by unknown tools.
"let me see?"
Xun Yu suddenly became curious. He believed that the things written by Cao Peng, a young man who was valued by Lumen Mountain, should be extraordinary.
The picture was written with charcoal, with rows of little figures drawn.
The little people formed various formations, some seemed to be marching, some seemed to be standing, and some... Xun Yu couldn't explain clearly.
After reading these drawings one by one, Xun Yu didn't quite understand.
However, on the last page of drawings, there are densely written small charcoal characters.
Cao Peng said: Since the Huben Army is a brave warrior recruited from various armies, there is no need to worry about its bravery. The key lies in how to make them form combat effectiveness in the shortest possible time. Qin Feng Wuyi once said,
Hold your hand and repair my spear...
On the battlefield, what soldiers should pay most attention to is not personal bravery, but overall combat effectiveness.
Cooperation between each other, trust between people, and the sense of honor of the group. These things sound very vague, but they are very important. If there is no one you can trust, who will dare to take care of you after going to the battlefield?
Give your back to others?
The biggest problem with the Huben Army is that they come from different groups and are not familiar with each other. They have no trust and no sense of honor.
Then, the first thing Dian Wei has to do is to knead these people together, trust each other, and become a real team. Secondly, follow the orders and prohibitions...do not be confused when moving forward, and do not panic when retreating. Here, Cao Peng used
A quote from Sun Tzu's The Art of War.
It is as fast as the wind, as slow as the forest, as aggressive as fire, and as motionless as a mountain.
According to Cao Peng's explanation, if Dian Wei can train the Tiger Guards according to this standard, they can easily defeat them when facing ten times the Tiger Guards...
Xun Yu raised his head and looked at Dian Wei with a half-smile.
"Wen Ruo, are you laughing at me?"
"Why am I laughing at you?"
Dian Wei said angrily: "If you are ill, you should go to the doctor immediately and find a little kid to give you advice."
Xun Yu couldn't help laughing, "Jun Ming, I'm not laughing at you, I'm laughing at you for being ignorant."
To be continued...
