Chapter 23 The Buddha said that afflictions are Bodhi

Looking at the Bodhisattva on the Buddha altar, I thought that my second level of "The Dharma Body of No Form" has been completed and I can break through to the third level of human form at any time.
In the main hall these days, I often see men, women, young and old who burn incense and pray for blessings in the city, each with their own appearance and their own thoughts. I don’t know what wishes they made in front of the Buddha and how many wishes they have realized.
Thinking of all kinds, I couldn't help but feel troubled. Looking at the sutras placed in front of the Buddha's altar, I picked up a chant, and saw that the "Ksitigarbha Sutra" copied by myself, and I chanted it gently:

I have been guided by the Buddha for a long time and have gained incredible divine power and great wisdom. My body is filled with hundreds of thousands of billions of Ganges sand worlds, and each world has become hundreds of thousands of billions of bodies. Each body saves hundreds of thousands of billions of people, so that I can be respected by the Three Jewels, forever free from life and death, and reach the joy of Nirvana. However, I have done a good deed in Buddhism, every bit of sand and dust, or a little promise, and I will gradually save it and gain great benefits. I only hope that the World Honored One will not worry about the evil karma sentient beings in the future...
These three words said to the Buddha: "I hope that the World Honored One will not worry about sentient beings who have evil karma in the future."
A stick of incense burned out, and Li Ye finished reading a volume. He felt much quieter and no longer bored.
In a blink of an eye, the old monk was sitting beside him and picked up the teapot and poured tea for himself and Li Ye.
After blowing the heat, the old monk tasted a sip of tea and said, "Are you worried about it?"
Li Ye looked at the old monk with a kind look and replied softly: "There are these days when I saw everyone coming to worship Buddha in front of the hall. Some were happy, some were sad, and they all had their own hearts and their own appearance."
"I don't know what kind of wishes they made in front of the Buddha and how many wishes they have realized. After thinking about it, a trace of troubles arises in their hearts..."
After hearing this, the old monk chanted a Buddha's name and looked at Li Ye with his lower eyes, just like the Bodhisattva on the Buddha's altar looking at Li Ye, and said softly:
The four aspects of me, humans, sentient beings, and longevity are all the appearances of ordinary people and sentient beings. Ordinary people believe that there is a real self in the world, and this is the appearance of self. If there is self, there will be people to treat. This is the appearance of human beings. People who treat more than one person are, this is the appearance of sentient beings.
My thoughts continue to be continuous, which means the appearance of the longevity. Everything that actually appears is impermanence, and all causes and conditions are temporarily gathered.
The parents, sir, the princess of the general's mansion, the princess of the domain lord's mansion, and the me in your eyes are all the human appearances in your eyes. A thousand people have a thousand appearances, each of which is different.
This requires you to have the wisdom eye mentioned by the Buddha to identify the appearance of sentient beings.
The second level of your "No Formless Dharma Body" has been completed. At about the same time, you will naturally go to the third level of human appearance. It is a very good thing to realize this problem at this time.
"Master, how do I face it? So how can I develop a wise eye." Li Ye looked at the old monk with a treasure appearance.
The old monk chanted Namo Amitabha Buddha and said, "I am troubled, and that is Bodhi."
"The meaning of troubles and bodhi is that it means that non-duality. All spiritual effects that hinder enlightenment are called troubles; on the contrary, the wisdom of nirvana is called Bodhi."
"However, greed, anger, ignorance and other afflictions are Bodhi; there is no other dharma to be spoken of except for this Bodhi Dharma nature, so the name of Bodhi is established in the nature of afflictions."
In human consciousness, irritability, pain and worries are troubles. However, in Buddhism, the Buddha calls all the mental effects of disturbing the peace of the body and mind of sentient beings and confusing them. The spiritual effect of suffering is called "troubles".
"Troubles are Bodhi. You don't have to be attached to false thoughts in everything. You can only be relieved if you know how to let go. Eliminate afflictions and attain Bodhi. Otherwise, there will be demons in the heart, so there will be: one thought to become a Buddha, and one thought to become a demon."
"So, what is the wise eye?" Li Ye continued to ask.
"The naked eye can see the light and the darkness, the front and the back. The wise eye can see the shallow and deep meaning of the text, and the good and evil cause and effect of the past and later life are like the moon in the palm of the palm. The true wise eye is not in the body, the wise eye has no form, nor in the heart. In your practice, you will understand this principle."
Nodded, Li Ye said that he understood the old monk's teachings.
He picked up the teapot, the old monk added tea to the two of them and asked, "A few days ago, you suddenly realized under the Bodhi tree. What are your gains in your heart? Is it for Buddhism or your practice?"
Li Ye took the cup handed by the old monk with both hands and murmured softly: "Everyone in the world can become a Buddha, and I am also a Buddha."
He also said: "The disciple has no breakthrough in his practice, but he just feels that his mind has suddenly become broader and he has figured out some of the previous principles that he didn't understand."
When the old monk heard this, he recited the Buddha's name and picked up the flower with his left hand, he was extremely happy. "Every sentient being has Buddha nature, and he can become a Buddha. However, because he is blinded by delusion and attachment, he cannot restore Buddha nature. If he restores Buddha nature, he becomes a Buddha."
"Everything is inherently complete. Whether it is open or fallen, no one knows it or someone knows it, it might as well be content and always happy."
"You can have such an understanding, which is much rarer than you can improve your realm. People in the world want to suddenly realize under the Bodhi tree in order to prove the truth, but from ancient times to the present, how many people have realized it." After the old monk said that, he picked up the tea cup and drank the tea in his cup.
Li Ye knelt down and kowtowed to the old monk, got up and sat cross-legged, and said, "Master, I will go to Tianshan Mountain with my husband to find medicine in a few days. I am afraid that I will not be able to come to the temple for a long time to listen to your teachings. I hope Master will take care of my health and practice compassionately."
"When my disciple comes back, I will cook tea and water for you again." Li Ye looked at the old monk and said seriously.
The old monk stood up to the Buddha altar, lit an incense stick, then turned around to meditate, waved to Li Ye, he was about to start chanting scriptures.
Li Yexin felt reluctant to leave, sighed softly, kowtowed to the old monk again, got up and left the Buddhist temple.
The old monk looked at Li Ye's back as he walked out of the Buddhist temple and thought to himself: "The childish eagle must finally be released to fly in the sky." His eyes closed slightly and he began to recite the scriptures.
Li Ye, who left the Buddhist temple, looked at the pedestrians who were praying for blessings and thought to himself: "It's time to go back and watch your parents and husband."

The two hurriedly hid under the eaves of the gate. Agui turned around and took a stool from the door, handed it to Tang Chao, and said, "Otherwise, if you hide here, the young master may come back soon. Anyway, the rain is so heavy, you can't go home."
The fat man was depressed and thoughtful that he could not leave even if he didn't see him. So let's wait for a while.
