Chapter 10: Travel
Su Mo was eating very slowly. The orange-red light bulb in the main room shone on her fingers holding chopsticks. Her long eyelashes bent down and looked at her hand, thinking that the conditioning matters should be put on the agenda.
This girl is just an ordinary girl. She grew up in the countryside with a rough and wild life. I think Cui Rong probably didn't pay attention to things that wouldn't let her do farm work or something. The girl's original body probably couldn't rest, and even had fine calluses on her hands.
When I read the Pharmacopoeia, there were several prescriptions for body conditioning and skin care, as well as the slender and charming under my fingers. However, those were all spiritual flowers and plants, and now her incompetent body will not be found for a while.
Picking up wild mushrooms from the pheasant meat and eating them. After drinking a small bowl of corn crumbled porridge, Su Mo sighed with satisfaction. At least everything he eats is delicious and has an appetite.
Looking at the quiet east and west houses, Su Mo picked up a bowl of porridge and picked up a corn flour bun and went to the west house. Cui Rong leaned on the kang and a piece of quilt next to it fell. It was thought that it was because she pulled out a quilt just now because she was angry.
Su Mo put the bowl and steamed buns on the table beside the kang, stretched out her hand to fold the quilts neatly, took off her shoes and put them back on the kang.
He brought the porridge to Choi Rong, and Choi Rong was sleeping under the quilt.
Su Mo gently patted the quilt and said, "Mom, drink a bowl of porridge before sleeping."
The faint orange-red light that emerged from the gaps in the cotton curtain outside shone on the dark light formed on the green quilt of the lake water has a kind of quiet and... loneliness.
Su Mo hung her long eyelashes.
When she was in the family, the backyard where she lived was a forbidden place for the family. My grandfather ordered that the people below should not disturb her tranquility when they were fine.
Whenever there was a major family matter, she lay on the bed with pain and weakness because of her ability to use, looking at the reflection of the osmanthus tree printed on the window, looking at the door, and hoping that someone would come in like this and pat her gently with comfort.
Cui Rong's slightly depressed voice came from the quilt: "I'm not hungry, you can take it away."
Su Mo waited for a while and got off the kang.
He took the porridge to the east house.
The light bulb in the east room is an incandescent lamp, and the light bulb is bright.
Su Changfeng was looking at the route map of the car he wanted to take when traveling.
Seeing Su Mo come in, I was a little surprised.
He probably didn't expect his little daughter to come in to bring the meal.
Su Mo shouted softly: "Dad".
Su Changfeng came to his senses and was about to open his mouth and say he would not eat it, but when he heard the little girl's weak shout, he answered coldly and hard: "Let's go there."
Su Mo nodded, put down the porridge, a small bowl of vegetables and steamed buns, and turned around and wanted to go out.
When Su Changfeng saw her clothes, she was wearing an ordinary floral jacket that was very common in the village. In the past, she always thought that the countryside was vulgar. Now when she saw her little girl wearing it for no reason, she was a bit gentle and elegant.
Su Changfeng looked at his daughter with a little suspiciously.
Has he not paid attention to his children for too long?
"Get up early tomorrow morning, we will go to the morning bus in the town and buy you clothes when we get to the town."
"good".
When he saw the little girl's simple answer, he went out. Su Changfeng looked at the door in confusion. In the past, when he mentioned buying clothes, the girl would often answer happily.
When the rooster crowed in the morning, Su Mo woke up and got up to wash in the yard. She saw Cui Rong getting up and adding food in front of the chicken pen.
"Mom, early."
Su Mo has been used to the way she squatted in the yard and washed up for a few days, but she still couldn't adapt much, so she stood under the persimmon tree to brush her teeth.
It was a bit cold in the morning, probably because the wind was too strong and there was no fog in late autumn.
When he heard his daughter's question, Cui Rong was just thinking that her daughter was becoming more and more sensible, and she was very happy.
The voice was joyful and regained its vitality: "What's the early one? It's time to see that the chickens are getting up."
"Why did you get up so early today?"
"Dad said he took the bus today."
Su Mo looked at the towel on her hand and wiped her face. It was a pink cartoon towel that she had used for a long time.
A little shy.
I put down the towel, and it would be a little cold if the weather is naturally dry.
I sighed in my heart and wiped my face.
Cui Rong slapped his forehead: "Yes, fortunately I got up early today, otherwise I wouldn't have time to make breakfast for you and your dad."
Walking quickly into the kitchen, he explained loudly from the house as he entered: "Follow your dad to be obedient, don't argue with others outside, don't quarrel with others, and listen to adults in everything outside. When you are at your grandma's house, don't yell as loud as you are at home. When you see people, you must politely call people. In big cities, those big families are very disciplined. You are used to being wild, so I'm really worried."
If it were the original body in the past, she would have been impatient to listen. Now Su Mo felt very pleasant to listen. She responded with a quiet smile on her face, and looked up and saw that the sun had just risen.
My mother's nagging echoed in this farmyard with the faint sound of chickens and sheep floating in the distant village, and it seemed warm and peaceful in the morning light.
Cui Rong's voice came from the kitchen: "Please choose the handful of old broad beans, and fry them later. It will be used as snacks for you and your dad to eat on the way."
"good".
I took a small wooden bench from the main hall. The inclined surface was a triangle made of random nails. I think it was made by Su Changfeng himself.
Su Mo looked at the rough and simple stool, and gently touched the surface of the stool with her hands to avoid any exposed wooden thorns or nail tips.
The wooden stool is relatively smooth, I think Cui Rong often sits to choose vegetables.
Su Mo sat down with confidence.
He took a handful of old broad beans on the wooden board not far from the chicken pen shed, and squatted down to select broad beans.
As soon as I picked a bowl, I heard the sound of a donkey bell outside. It was my third uncle who came.
The yard gate creaked open, and Cui Baohe, who was unhappy, saw Bai Ju, who was unhappy, came with several big bags.
Su Changfeng came out with a briefcase and saw Cui Bao getting a few snakeskin bags, his whole face wrinkled.
"What are you carrying?"
Cui Bao smiled and brought the things to come over and said, "It's all grown in the field. This bag is just collected soybeans. Brother-in-law, I told you that I picked it up all night last night. It's all round soybean particles. People in the city are particular. I heard that I have to drink soy milk in the morning. The soybean milk made from soybeans is much better than the soybean milk that is thinner than the water in the city. And this bag is also a small piece of pea powder grown in the field. Bai Ju deliberately kept small pieces of peas grown in the field and ground on the stone mill. I heard that people in the capital like to eat pea yellow. The pea yellow made is much more authentic than in the city. The pea powder in the city is not pure, this is fine powder. And this bag is water radish grown in the field, which is sweet, crispy and tender, and this bag--"
"Okay, okay."
Su Changfeng interrupted him.
"You are going to go to the city to sell vegetables."
Cui Bao was unwilling to take the gift he had prepared for the night and continued to fight for it: "Brother-in-law, I heard that the dishes of his parents are rare in the city, called, oh, pollution-free green food. We bring other things, which are both costly and cannot be rare."
Cui Bao thought for a while and paused, "It's not a waste of money. The main reason is that my brother-in-law's family must be short of everything. We just buy a few boxes of gift boxes, which is too ordinary and cannot reflect our intentions."
Su Changfeng looked at the snakeskin bags as if he was reminding others where they came from.
He looked unhappy and disagreed: "This trip is for doing business. You are taking these things with you. Who can carry them so much?"
Cui Bao stood forward: "I'll take it, my brother-in-law doesn't have to do it."
"I don't bring that either."
Su Changfeng looked at his watch and said that it was almost time. He couldn't catch the earliest shuttle bus to the town any later.
Looking at Su Changfeng walking out, Cui Bao hurriedly carried the smallest bag, and Bai Ju left a pound of agarwood with four pounds left, and quickly caught up with him: "Then take this garwood with him, it's not heavy."
Seeing that Su Changfeng didn't say anything and agreed, Cui Bao hurriedly added: "Even if you don't give it to Su Mo, it's good to eat it on the way."
Su Changfeng looked at the candy that Cui Bao asked. The sugar slices and jade are white and pure, and are the most authentic agar sugar made. The slices are covered with evenly arranged and dense black sesame seeds, which look very sweet.
Hearing the sound of leaving, Cui Rong chased after him with a spatula: "I left so early. I baked the cakes and fryed broad beans. I will leave after dinner."
Su Changfeng walked along and said without looking back: "I don't eat anymore, it's too late, go to the town to eat."
He turned around and called out to his daughter: "Hurry up Sumo."
"Come here."
Su Mo didn't have anything to take, and there was no travel bag or anything in her room. It was so simple that it was not like a girl's room.
The original body is probably a carefree and boyish personality, and there is no arrangement in the room.
Bai Ju and Cui Rong were sent to the gate of the yard and watched them walk downhill from afar.
