625. The basis of fishery biological chain

When Qin Shiou returned to the fishing ground, the harvest had just entered the port, and the farewell number was ready to set off.

Fishing in the fishing ground is not the same as fishing in the high seas. Of course, even if capelin is mature, it is only seven or eight centimeters long.

Qin Shiou welcomes capelin to stay. Because of its small size and average economic value, this fish is not only not nutritious, but is difficult to catch and has a small catch. In addition to the breeding time of year, it is difficult to find capelin.

However, according to the Canadian Fisheries Act, no matter what fish, even the stinged-scale snake mackerel and the heteroscale snake mackerel, which are listed on the banned list in North America, are not allowed to be caught during breeding.

In this way, the fishing net mesh required for too small fishing boats will have small mesh nets, but for deep-sea fishing boats, they do not carry small mesh fishing nets on board, so it just so happens that capelin lives in the deep sea, so it is difficult to increase the catch of capelin.

But for fishing grounds, capelin is a very suitable underlying food chain organism. They are prone to hair roe and are a delicacy in the mouth of all carnivorous fish. They are rich in nutrients and are more suitable for cod, salmon, and tuna than herring and mackerel.

In order to protect these capelin fish, Qin Shiou had to gather them together and instill the energy of the sea god in uniform.

In addition, he chose a group of fish to live specifically at the mouth of the Kambal Mountain River. Because the water flows here quickly, large fish will not easily approach it, and even if it comes, they are not afraid. Capelin can migrate into the Tamsui River to take refuge.

The name of zhen fish comes from their peculiar mouth shape, with a short and triangular upper palate and a very long lower palate that looks like a needle. It usually lives in the middle and upper layers of the estuary, and can also enter fresh water. It mainly eats green algae, plankton and small crusts.
