905. Workforce Development Week

Qin Shiou walked back dejectedly. Seeing that something was wrong with him, Sanders asked him what was going on.

He sighed and said, "I went to do a job consultation, and then it was suitable for my job. Apart from going to the construction site to do physical work, or going to sea to do physical work. In short, I can't do anything other than physical work."

Sanders shrugged and said, "So, look, consultants are not omnipotent. How much can they know in a few minutes? The government will not help job seekers in this way, but will mislead them in some ways."

Qin Shiou looked at the old professor in surprise and asked, "Why don't you think they are right? Maybe, I am the kind of young man who has money at home and then goes to St. Johns to open a fishing ground?"

Sanders laughed and patted his shoulder and said, "Do you think I came to your fishing ground to work with my head? I have investigated the situation of the fishing ground. You are an amazing fishing ground. You can save a fishing ground that is on the verge of bankruptcy. This is very amazing."

He paused, looked at Qin Shiou with admiration and said, "And what's very good is that you have excellent control skills and can manage more than 20 fishermen without any trouble. At least you have no problem being a human resources manager."

After being praised by Sanders, Qin Shiou's vanity immediately flew up, and the confidence that he had just been hit was established again. That's right, I'm not useless, even if I don't have the heart of the sea god... Forget it, don't think about it. Without the heart of the sea god, I will never come to Canada!

The job fair lasted for one day, but Qin Shiou only collected a resume for half a day and was about to evacuate. He hired an accountant and received forty resumes, which was enough to choose a suitable candidate.

While he was about to leave, a middle-aged man in a suit and tie stopped Qin Shiou. This man was the head of the job fair and an official of the St. Johns Human Resources System. He was the one who spoke on the stage in the morning.

"Mr. Qin? I'm Green-Hotel, I'm very happy to know you." The middle-aged man handed Qin Shiou a business card.

Qin Shiou suddenly felt awe-inspiring, Green-Tree Inn? He remembered that this was a very famous chain hotel in China, so he introduced it and joked: "Your family's hotel business is very good, and its scale in our country is even greater than that of the Hilton Hotel."

As a result, when people knew about Green-Tree Inn, they smiled relaxedly: "I know, I used to want to protect my rights, but they infringed on my right to use my name, right?"

Just kidding. Everyone has a little more friendly relationship. GreenTree Inn wanted to tell him that Mayor Hamley just passed a resolution in the city council after a year. Starting from March this year, St. Johns's first week of the month is Labor Development Week.

He asked Qin Shiou if he wanted to participate. Now he can become the first batch of honest companies and recruit employees to enjoy some tax reduction benefits.

Qin Shiou was a little interested in this way. Canada's taxes are too fucked and placed in China. The taxes he paid in the past two years can be a strengthening school beauties class. If he can participate in the tax reduction activities, he has to participate.

He learned that this Labor Development Week event is part of the ‘orking-as-one’ Labor Development Strategy Program hosted by the Canadian central government, in January and February. The central government will focus on promoting the program.

The purpose of this plan is three. One is to set up a pipeline for unemployed citizens to obtain work information, the second is to spread employee recruitment information for investors. The third is to convey the most valuable information to employers, unemployed citizens and communities, and will be held by the Canadian "Employment and Social Service Center".

After understanding it, Qin Shiou said to think about it back and consider it. He has no specific recruitment plan now. He has to go back and consider it before giving a reply.

After leaving the job fair, Qin Shiou and Sanders found a fast restaurant to have dinner, a very popular Sichuan restaurant.

Qin Shiou ordered the meal in Chinese, and the waiter cleverly told the chef that there were our compatriots outside, and then the boiled meat, dried carp, lantern beef and steamed beef from the past were genuine Chinese dishes.

Sanders is an immigrant from China and the United States, and he is also very spicy. In the winter, the two of them were sweating profusely and were busy. The old man kept giving him a thumbs up and shouting 'good'. Qin Shiou taught him to say 'awesome' in Chinese, and then the 'awesome' shouts sounded from time to time in the restaurant.

During the meal, the two read the resumes and Sanders said: "There is a problem now, that is, do you want to find a Chinese or a non-Chinese person?"

Qin Shiou also had this consideration. He wanted to recruit Chinese people. Although the outside world has always said something like "one Chinese is a dragon and three are insects." In fact, when you go abroad, you know that Chinese people are also very group.

Accounts are private matters, and Chinese people are sure to use them more at ease. If you choose Chinese, it is best to choose the one who has just immigrated for a while. This kind of person is most concerned about blood and racial relations, but such persons may not be familiar with Canada's tax system, which is another problem.

Qin Shiou had no opinion on non-Chinese people. His fishermen and mercenaries were either white or black. They worked hard and were very responsible for their work. He was always satisfied.

But after thinking for a few seconds, he decided to recruit a Chinese under similar circumstances.

For nothing else, Qin Shiou just realized the difficulty of immigrant compatriots in Canada. He helped his compatriots solve employment problems. Even if there is only one person, he thought it was good.

In this way, the two of them were screening while eating, and finally five were selected from forty people, four Chinese and one white, all of whom were in their thirties.

Accountants at this age are very embarrassing. There are two industries in the world that are getting more valuable as they get older. One is a doctor and the other is an accountant. Accountants in their thirties have just gotten rid of the frivolity and carelessness of young people, but their qualifications are not deep enough, so employment is more painful.

Accountants of this age often receive lower salary than expected. They understand this, so they work more seriously and use their work results in exchange for a chance to raise their salary.

Qin Shiou called and notified five people that the interview was in a small conference room in the hotel. Qin Shiou spent 100 Canadian dollars to rent for two hours.

The five people arrived on time, and arrived at the hotel at 2:30 in the afternoon. Qin Shiou arranged for them to go to the living room to wait. Sanders came over and asked, "Are you going to prepare for an interview?"

Qin Shiou nodded, Sanders walked towards the small conference room, and Tiya, dressed in an OL suit, followed behind and handed the job seeker's analysis information to Sanders, saying: "I did a simple analysis at noon, please see if it can be used."

No wonder Sanders likes to bring Tyya out to do things, because this Ukrainian girl has a high emotional intelligence and is very skilled in handling things. She is simply an excellent assistant. For example, when the interview started later, no one needs to say that Tyya helps to notify the applicant to enter the room.
