286. The danger never disappears
News of Dumbledore being removed from the position of principal came back to Hogwarts.
This made the whole castle nervous, both students and professors, until Dumbledore came back from outside and announced in the auditorium that Professor McGonagall would be the interim principal, and he would not leave Hogwarts and would stay in the principal's room all the time. The students were relieved.
The students in Hogwarts know best that as long as Dumbledore is in Hogwarts, they are safe.
On the afternoon of Dumbledore's return to the castle, Lynn came to the entrance of the principal's office.
The stone monster in charge of guarding the door had long been familiar with Lin En, and there was no need for a command to enter the door. However, when Lin En wanted to go in, the stone monster suddenly spoke and reminded him.
"Vice-President McGonagall is talking to Dumbledore inside."
Dumbledore and Professor McGonagall must be talking to hand over the relevant things about the principal. Lynn did not go in rashly, but waited for Professor McGonagall to come out before the entrance.
When he was free, Lynn started chatting with the stone monster.
"Are you a magical animal?" He was very curious about the life structure of the stone monster.
The Stone Monster also seemed to be very interested in chatting with him: "You can think of me as a creature of the same nature as the guy in the branch hat, and it is more like an artificial alchemy than an animal."
"Then you also existed in the early days of Hogwarts' school?"
"Of course, who else can create a life like me besides those four great wizards?"
Before Lynn and the Stone Monster chatted for a long time, Professor McGonagall walked out of the principal's office.
She frowned, looking worried and not in a good mood.
Lynn took the initiative to say hello to her: "Professor McGonagall."
Professor McGonagall looked up at him: "Professor Lockhart, Albus asked me to come to see him just now, but I didn't expect you to have arrived."
Lynn raised his eyebrows: "Professor Dumbledore has stepped down as principal?"
Professor McGonagall looked very headache-inducing. Although she was happy to help Dumbledore manage Hogwarts, she did not do this way.
"The school directors held a meeting to vote and forced their resignation as Albus. Albus also agreed, so I can only serve as the interim principal now."
Professor McGonagall did not talk much with Lynn. She usually had many things to be busy with, and now she couldn't rest as much as she said goodbye to Lynn and left.
After Professor McGonagall left, Lynn walked into the principal's office.
Dumbledore now looked relaxed in a chair, holding a story book in his hand, and from the perspective of Lynn coming in, he could see the cover of the book, "The Story of the Poetry Peter".
"You are so old and still like to read story books like this that kid read?" Lynn sat opposite Dumbledore and complained.
Dumbledore combined the storybook: "What people like actually have nothing to do with age. This book is one of my favorite books. It was like this when I was young, and it was always like this even when I was old."
"What's going on over the school board?" Lynn asked bluntly.
"Obviously, someone doesn't want me to stay in Hogwarts." Dumbledore looked very good. "They looked very anxious and seemed to have discovered something, otherwise they wouldn't be so impatient."
"Why has your position as principal been removed?" Lynn was very puzzled.
"Because the title of the principal is not important, anyone can be the principal, but the key is that I have to stay in Hogwarts, and it is normal for the principal to be exempted from the principal and the process, so of course I should accept it."
"But you're still in Hogwarts."
"Yes, they can't change this, and there is no way to change it." Dumbledore said with a smile. "What he lost is the title of a principal, but he has gained a lot. At least we have now clearly discovered one of our enemies."
Lynn guessed who he found, pinched his chin, and Lynn talked about the situation he had monitored these days.
"I haven't noticed that the target I'm monitoring has contact with the elf in school. She has beenhaved very normally during this period, but from what we can see today, they can't wait anymore, which means they will continue to think of ways."
Lynn suddenly looked up at Dumbledore.
“I have a plan professor.”
Dumbledore looked at him with his blue eyes, which seemed to have a smile: "I can probably guess your plan."
"Do you think it's feasible?"
"Why not? Since they have forced themselves to this point, I think it's a good idea to give it a try."
Lynn shrugged: "You just trust me so much?"
Dumbledore laughed: "The most trust is what we lack, isn't it?"
......
Dumbledore's resignation as principal had no effect in Hogwarts. After all, Dumbledore did not really leave Hogwarts, and he did not even move out of his principal's office. Except for nominally he no longer had the principal of this school, nothing else seemed to have changed.
Until one afternoon three weeks later, Professor McGonagall summoned four deans from the school and Lynn, who served as the professor of the Dark Magic Defense Class, to her office.
Professor McGonagall sat in the chair at her desk, his face as serious as usual.
"Everyone, Albus left Hogwarts this morning."
Professor Flevy was a little puzzled: "Is it common for Dumbledore not to be in Hogwarts? Why should we be called here?"
He asked the doubts that other professors had.
"This time is different from usual." Professor McGonagall shook his head. "You know that the school board removed him from his position as principal not long ago. Albus told me that this was actually a conspiracy, and someone wanted to send him away from Hogwarts."
Snape frowned, his face still so gloomy.
"Since Dumbledore knew it was a conspiracy, why should he leave Hogwarts?"
Professor McGonagall said heavily.
"Because he is not only the principal of Hogwarts, but also the president of the International Federation of Wizards. The dispute between the French Association of the Melcos and the Ministry of Magic in the Middle East needs to be mediated. Before leaving, Albus reminded me to do a good job in defense in Hogwarts. He does not want any trouble in the castle during this period."
"Where does that danger come from?" asked Professor Sprout.
At this time, Lin Neng interrupted and said, "I may be able to tell you this."
The professors turned their eyes to him.
