008. The bus is the correct way for wizards to travel

“The relationship between a wizard and a Muggle has always been a proposition worthy of study.

It is precisely because of this that Hogwarts has opened a Muggle research class in the past hundred years to promote wizards to let go of their figures and understand the lives and habits of another group of human beings.

But I have always believed that this course has deviated from its original intention of setting it up. It can be seen from its name that the discrimination in Muggle research is obvious.

Belloc, you are a Muggle-born wizard who is about to enter school. What do you think of the existing phenomenon in the wizarding world?”

On the bus, Lynn looked speechlessly at Professor Fox who was talking to him seriously. The seats around them were empty. After hearing Fox's words like a sleep, people avoided them far away.

There was even a boy's mother pointing at Lynn and others to educate her children: If she didn't study hard in the future, she would be like two crazy men, a young man, and she would talk crazy on the bus.

"I said to Professor, it's embarrassing that you are a wizard and me, a preparatory wizard, come to take the bus without flying or teleporting. If you still ask me these shameful questions in such public places, maybe we can all be on the headlines of the Times tomorrow. You may not be anything, but I want to die socially."

Instead of answering Fox's question, Lynn tried to regain his qualification to continue living in a normal society.

Only then did Fox realize that the situation they were in seemed a little unbeautiful, and his novelty subsided, and an indescribable sense of shame instantly occupied the peak.

He quietly approached Lin Neng's ear and asked in a low voice.

"Does my words sound stupid to them?"

"Not very stupid." Lynn shrugged, "but he's stupid."

"Can't you comfort me in a tactful way?"

"Sorry, professor, the teacher has taught me to be an honest person since I was a child."

Twenty minutes later, they arrived at the destination, and the two got out of the car at a speed like an unlucky guy who was rushing to go home to put out the fire.

Lynn said listlessly.

"So I shouldn't choose to take the bus to save money, it's better to take a taxi."

Fox tidied up his windbreaker without changing his face and coughed.

"Okay, Belloke, now we're at our home court."

Lynn looked along Fox's sight and indeed saw a bar with extremely uneven atmosphere in a long street in the city: the Broken Cauldron Bar.

Passers-by in all kinds of surroundings turned a blind eye to this conspicuous building, but in Lynn's eyes it was so abrupt.

"The Muggle Exorcist Spell, a very useful spell, can make Muggle subconsciously ignore certain things, but it has no effect on people with magic. It is generally used in wizard gatherings and special places." Although Lynn has not yet entered school, Fox has already played the role of a teacher.

They walked into this shabby bar, with not many guests inside, mostly wearing dark robes and steep hats with wide brim, which was more in line with the image of a wizard in people's mind than Fox.

After entering the door, Lynn felt several gazes looking at them, and then when their eyes swept to Fox, he quickly pretended to be nothing.

Meanwhile, Lynn could clearly feel that after they appeared, the atmosphere in the bar became a little... cramped.

The owner of the bar, Tom, saw Fox at the first time. He hurriedly wiped his hands with his apron on his body and came over. The expression on his face seemed very welcoming, but he was very reluctant.

"Welcome back to Adrien, have you received your students?"

Fox seemed to be unaware of the change in the atmosphere in the bar, and he patted Lynn on the shoulder.

"This trip is not easy for me, but it's worth it. Let me introduce this year, this is a new Hogwarts freshman, Lynn Bellock, the owner of the Burnt Cauldron Bar, and Tom, the old Tom."

"Hello, Mr. Tom." Lynn greeted politely.

Although I have read the original work, nearly twenty years have passed since this life, it is already quite good to remember the general plot. He has no impression of this bad old man who doesn't appear much.

I was impressed by another man named Tom with the same name as him, but the man's surname was Riddle.

"Hello, hello, if you want to stay in a hotel in the future, you can come to me, just drink, you are not old enough." Old Tom was a little perfunctory towards him, and his attention was always focused on Fox.

Lynn didn't care. He now felt that there was something wrong with his professor in the Black Magic Defense.

Although they had only known each other for less than a long time, except for being teased at the beginning, Fox can be regarded as easy-going in dealing with people.

But the behavior of these wizards in the bar seemed to be afraid of him.

"We still have a lot to buy, and the time is limited. If you have anything to do next time."

Fox took Lynn and didn't stay in the bar for a long time. After saying hello to Old Tom, he left the back door and went to the backyard of the bar.

"They seem to be a little afraid of you." Lynn asked.

Fox did not deny it, nor did he admit it, and he seemed to not want to answer this question.

"Maybe." Then he took out his wand and pointed it at the bricks on the unpainted wall on the backyard.

"After seeing Belloc, you can use the trash can as a reference. Just count three bricks upwards, then two horizontally, and knock on it with your magic wand and the door will open."

Fox demonstrated Lynn the steps to open the door, and the entire wall trembled violently, and then split a channel from the middle like a living building block that was put together.

Neat cobblestone paths, noisy streets, various shops with weird names, and crowds dressed in different clothes from modern times show Lynn the magical Diagonal Alley.

“It’s so lively here.”

Lynn looked at the scene in front of him in a daze. Compared with the text in the book and the pictures in the movie, the Diagon Alley in reality will definitely be more amazing and shocking.

Fox's reaction to Lynn was not surprising, but at this time he became like a child who was in his age.

"Let's go, there are a lot of things to prepare."

Broken cauldron bar.

As Fox and Lynn left, the atmosphere in the bar eased a lot.

"I heard that he went to Hogwarts recently to become a professor?"

Someone asked in a low voice, although he did not name it, everyone knew who he was talking about.

Someone chuckled and said in an inexplicable tone.

"And it's also a professor in the Dark Magic Defense class. I have to say that it's really ironic."

"He has a good relationship with Dumbledore, and his defense lawyer was Dumbledore himself."

"Only people like Dumbledore dare to hire him. Is he still continuing his research?"

"Well, I have never stopped. It is said that he spent a lot of money to operate in the Ministry of Magic. For his current research, the Ministry of Magic is almost the same as a default."

"I really don't know if it's lucky or unfortunate."
