It is almost one of the most popular supernatural novels at the time, and this book once achieved a good result of orders of over 10,000 yuan.

Audio novels are even more outstanding, and they have always been among the best-selling lists for Himalayas or lazy people to listen to books.

This also made me get a considerable income, which greatly alleviated my years of financial difficulties.

Here, I am very grateful to those friends who have supported me in writing for many years and read the genuine version. Without you, I would have been unable to continue writing.

Writing is my ideal and my hobby. If I don’t write anything every day, I feel that my life is incomplete and I can’t sleep well.

But many times, ideals cannot be used as food. A writer must have income and be able to support the family and write more exciting articles.

Many people have asked me if writing novels makes money?

This question is difficult for me to answer.

I can only say that most authors live on the brink of poverty and are rare to make a name for themselves.

There are only one or two thousand people who can earn more than one or two thousand per month for millions of authors.

Among them, there are many people who earn more than 100 million yuan a year, and they can’t even make a fortune of 600 yuan a month.

Writing is like sailing against the current, if you don’t advance, you will retreat.

If you don’t work hard, you will never get any reward.

The book Maoshan Ghost King has indeed brought me a lot in the past decade I have written, including a considerable income.

However, the good times did not last long. For more than ten years, I finally wrote a popular novel, thinking that I could be proud and bring a better life to my family, but God was trying to make people feel like they were. When this book was written to more than 1.5 million words, it happened to catch up with a wave of crackdown on supernaturalism and feudal superstition. At that time, all my books were removed from the shelves, including the Maoshan Ghost King, which was also banned for several days.

When it was released again, the Maoshan Ghost King had to change his name to Xuanmen Demon King, and all the titles of the book could not contain "ghost".

The Taoist priests and the family of corpses were all removed from the shelves at that time.

After my continuous modification and communication, Taoist Master Chuanzi changed another inappropriate name "I Take the Kirin to the World" and then re-listed.

However, "The Family of Body-Driving the Corpse" will never make a debut and will be permanently banned.

I have been writing books for more than ten years, but all of them were sealed. It felt very uncomfortable, just like a child I had been raising for several years and was snatched away by someone else.

I felt uncomfortable for a long time because of this incident. I was depressed at that time and went to the hospital many times.

In the end, I slowly walked out by myself.

More importantly, the writing income dropped sharply at that time, and it fell directly to one-fifth of the normal income.

This is a big deal and I can’t even pay the mortgage.

No matter how hard life is, you have to continue to persevere, and you still have to update your books.

But I didn't expect that my income was getting smaller and smaller every day, and I really reached the point where I could hardly afford to eat.

I was not the only one who encountered this situation. Most of the supernatural authors had the same experience as me at that time.

At the beginning, Q should have been able to understand the situation at that time. The books I was reading suddenly disappeared, so many authors who wrote supernatural novels at that time directly broke the updates or finished them in a hurry to make a living.

I once had this idea, but I have a problem with it, that is, once I start, there must be a beginning and an end.

No matter how difficult it is, you must finish writing.

In this way, I made up for 2020 and borrowed money when I had no money. That year, I was in debt of more than 100,000 yuan.

By 2021, I really couldn't stand it anymore. For the sake of the family, I went directly to Guangzhou to work for more than half a year.

Work while writing.

This is why I have fewer and fewer updates. At first, the fourth update was changed, then it became the third update, and finally the second update.

Because I don’t have much time to write books, life is just for the sake of food, food, oil and salt. No matter how hard I am, I can’t make my wife and children suffer.

Finally, as I was writing, I suddenly realized that the entire QQ reading was still writing supernatural novels and updating them, and I was the only one left.

I am really persevering alone.

Even so, I still insisted on writing more than 8.7 million words and finally finished the novel.

After writing for more than four years, I don’t know how I persevered.

When I finished writing the last word that day, it was already late at night. I couldn't sleep. I stared at the computer and stared at the computer for a few hours. Then I lay on the bed and couldn't sleep. I couldn't say why. I just felt uneasy. I had severe neurasthenia. I didn't close my eyes for two days and two nights.

Many readers came to me and said through various channels that they were reluctant to finish the book. After reading it, they felt a sense of loss, felt disgusted and felt uncomfortable. There were still many things that were not explained, and the ending was a little hasty.

What I want to say is that I am more reluctant than any of you, and I am reluctant to leave the characters in the book.

When I was writing this book, I truly integrated myself into the plot. One person had to play dozens of roles. I was Ge Yu, sometimes Wu Jiuyin, sometimes Kill Qianli, and sometimes Wu Daozi...

Over time, my mind became confused.

Various characters alternate and complicated. Every day when lying down, these characters will circle in my mind, making it difficult for me to fall asleep. Every time I am sleepy, I will sleep for a few hours before I will suddenly wake up.

When I got up and planned to write something more, I found that the book was finished.

I have nothing to write about.

Even those extras, I hesitated for a long time, and kept hesitating whether to write them.

I thought that if there were regrets and suspense, this book would remain in your memory and make everyone miss it.

There are many imperfections in this world, so why should we demand the perfection of a book?

But I still wrote the extra at the request of everyone.

Although everyone still thinks it is not perfect, I really have nothing to write about.

Even if there is, I don’t want to write it anymore. After all, I want to say a formal farewell to the Xuanmen Demon King.
