Chapter 320 Eighty-four thousand

Master Tree, dressed in a monk's robe, was also surprised to see everyone. After seeing the ceremony with Chen Luan and Yun Yiqi, he looked at Hua Lanting and the others and smiled: "I said that early this morning, the magpies on the branches in front of Lingyan Pavilion were chirping constantly, and there were indeed rare guests coming."

Hui'an said: "Master, your divine realm skills have been activated, why didn't you expect a distinguished guest to come?"

Master Shu knocked on Hui'an's head: "It's not that magical. Now it is still in a period when chances are needed and responses can only be felt on a whim. Master cannot predict anything before he knows nothing."

Chen Luan and Yun Yiqi did not show their faces, and they were shocked. Before, Master Shu sealed his skills and traveled to the fairyland. Hua Lanting and others only knew how powerful they were and did not know the true level. Now Master Shu’s cultivation is still above Chen Luan. Fortunately, he is a friend but not an enemy.

After talking about it, Master Shu knew that they were going to participate in the Guangji Temple ceremony. Now that day is coming, he decided to cast a spell immediately to increase his life to the cat demon.

After asking Hui'an to bring the cat demon into the quiet room on the ground floor of Lingyan Pavilion, Master Shu invited Hua Lanting ten people and the seriously injured Feng Huolun, Yiqing and Zishi, to enter the underground with him, and took Chen Luan and Yun Yiqi to the Buddhist temple to meet the abbot of Qixia Temple.

Hua Lanting and others did not understand the intention and believed that it was Master Shu who asked them to observe the casting process of the cat demon's life.

After sitting around the door of the quiet room, Master Shu said: "I will use the 'Buddha energy in the Buddha' to display the 'Buddha light shining' in the purple gold bowl."

"I heard from Hui'an that if you want to understand the related matters of Buddhism and Tantric Buddhism, you can ask me questions and discuss them together. The more you focus your attention, the more calm your mind will be, the smoother the process of casting will be. Let's start."

The purple gold bowl beside the master emitted golden light, gradually covering the quiet room and everyone.

Hua Lanting took the lead in asking: "As far as I know, there is a rule in the Buddhist conversion ritual of "not being a partner with the heretics". The master has extensive experience and practices in a lot of ways. How do you view and deal with the conflicts in doctrine between different sects? How do Buddhist practices treat heretics and people who have no faith?"

Master Shu said: "First of all, this sentence does not mean that you cannot talk and make friends with people who believe in different beliefs. Not being able to be a partner with heretics means that there should not be a pagan close companion who can influence your spiritual influence."

"If practicing Buddhism is moving to the left, then a person who moves to the right should not affect your beliefs. It will confuse you and even deviate from the direction you choose."

"Here, I have not said that other sects are inferior to Buddhism, but that they are essentially different, and ordinary people cannot follow two different Dharma paths at the same time."

"Some people say that their Taoism and Dharma are a great sect that gathers the best. This may be a good attempt, but it will not work. I think it is best to maintain the diversity of the world."

"Just like the dishes include Sichuan cuisine, Huaiyang, Cantonese cuisine, Shandong cuisine, etc., people can choose what to eat, but if they are mixed together, they must be a dish that has no specialty and is not delicious."

"If you have a headache, taking medicine for headaches does not mean you are condemning or disrespecting other drugs, or selling headaches to people with stomach aches."

"In addition to religions with very different doctrines, there are many benefits to Buddhism and Taoism, Confucianism, and different factions in Buddhism because I don't see major conflicts, so you can believe in Buddhism and apply the value of Confucianism at the same time. Being with Taoist practitioners will also be of great help."

"It should be pointed out that in terms of similar views, everyone can learn from each other, but overall, different teachings cannot be confused."

"In my opinion, every teaching method and practice path is unique and complete. When your knowledge has not reached a certain level, don't be greedy and chew too much."

"As for the secrets of the Dharma, it can be compatible. For example, a Buddha can practice the Śrāvakas externally, Mahayana internally, and Vajra tantrically."

Lin Xianjing then asked: "There are 84,000 Dharmas in Buddhism. How should believers choose the one that suits them?"

Master Shu replied: "In Buddhism, living Buddhas, masters and masters are doctors, believers are patients, and Buddhism is medicine."

"Buddhism is like different kinds of medicinal materials and therapy, each one works in different situations for different people. In fact, the 84,000 Dharmas are just a symbolic expression of imaginary numbers, and there are much more Dharmas than this."

"The Buddha taught us different contents. One method does not have to be special. Sometimes in order to encourage disciples and not distract them, they tend to say that a specific method is the best and best, but that is just a way of training and should not be understood as one better than the other."

"Each method has a specific audience, and needs to be taught according to the timing and the qualifications of each person, and should not be restricted."

"For example, when the Buddha taught traveling monks to beg for alms, they should accept whatever others offer. In this case, you may see that monks have accepted meat. This is not permitted to eat meat. The point is that they should not choose when begging for alms."

"The greatness of Buddha is that he will not teach and save only a certain type of person. Buddhism will not become narrow and limited due to differences in culture, time and environment changes.

"The eighty-four thousand methods are chosen from which to correspond to your own feelings. How to find a method that suits you? My suggestion is to explore."

"The process of searching is also a process of maturity. As long as you persist, you will definitely have beautiful and rich returns. As long as you progress and be full of desire, maintain an open mind and critical thinking, you will definitely meet your method."

“Good or bad, fast or slow, are secondary.”

"The qualifications, abilities, and cognitions of sentient beings are different. The medicine is the same, the dosage can be different. The speed is also relative."

"For example, a child is sick and needs to be treated by taking medicine. The problem is that if he thinks the medicine is bitter and refuses to drink it, he can only coax him to eat it and trick him into drinking it. Adults need to mix the soup with milk, honey, and juice, which takes time to extract, dye, mark, etc."

"But if this child has the courage and ability to drink it directly when he sees the medicine, it will be much faster."

"There is also a precedent for enlightenment and becoming a Buddha in one day."

"So, what method to learn depends on people. Some people are cautious in nature and will choose longer but safe paths; some people will choose shortcuts, but there are obstacles on the road. If they cannot deal with it well, they will arrive later than others."

Yi Liunian asked again: "On the way we came, Hui'an said that there were many fake masters and fake living Buddhas in the Dharma-Ending Age that jumped out to deceive people. How should people distinguish and choose guides?"

Master Shu said: "There is indeed a problem. The situation is still very serious and the times have changed."

"I remember my master lived a wandering life. He spread the Dharma day after day. Their generation of living Buddhas cultivated and taught his disciples in the tent. They ate barley and buckwheat, and drank only hot water."

"But now the young inheritors of living Buddhas are surrounded by people, worshipped by others, never beaten, never bleeding from the blow, they are obedient and used to calling people, they are overprotected, they have never been rejected, they do not understand the outside world, they are even reluctant to walk in person."

"Think about it, if a person doesn't even wear his own clothes, how can he expect him to save all living beings?"

"It is often difficult to judge the authenticity, because only a great achiever can judge whether another person is a great achiever or a temple with a long-term inheritance. For this reason, we need to test our preachers."

"For example, use his own method to test him. If he is crazy, you will be even more crazy than him. He likes to scold people, and you will also insult him. If he is not angry about this, nor does he change his value orientation, behavior attitude and way of thinking, then he may not be bad."

"In addition, we must observe his intentions and motivations, see if he is too enthusiastic about secular affairs, see how much they pay attention to the spiritual value of their disciples, rather than how much you offer."

"There is also a matter of how much Buddhist knowledge he has, but in fact it is a very secondary way of judgment. What is more important is whether his precepts are pure. This not only refers to external precepts, but also respect for the Three Jewels and the laws of cause and effect."

"Many people teach Buddhism for money, power and reputation, and even sell it as a business. This is a very serious fault and evil deed."

"A good master is a person who will teach you the way to liberation. He cares about your liberation and has the courage to tell you what you need to hear, not just what you want to hear."

"Living Buddhas are both humans and masters, and they are not perfect and they can make mistakes."

"I am often confused, hoping to make the right choice, but it is as difficult as a feather in the wind, but is pushed around by various situations. Therefore, I do not want to be called a living Buddha, it is just a name."

Just like this, nearly an hour passed.

Finally, Master Chu tapped the purple gold bowl with a snap of his finger, and a deafening, crisp and melodious voice resounded throughout Lingyan Pavilion, completing the increase of the cat demon's life.

Everyone woke up from the conversation and were shocked.

All of them found that their injuries were healed. No matter how serious the injuries were, including rats, there was no open and secret disease on their bodies.

What is even more surprising is that each of their cultivation has directly jumped to a small level.

Master, compassion!

Master Shu did not tell them in advance, but instead used the excuse to talk and used the Buddha's light to perform the Tantric restoration technique for them.

Everyone stood up and thanked the master.

The master did not get up, but waved his hands, looking very tired, and the purple gold bowl beside him and his face became a little dimmed.

Master Shu didn't say anything. In fact, casting spells for cat demons and curing injuries and improving the people, with his outstanding cultivation and the power of the purple gold bowl, is not a simple and easy task, and the burden and consumption are not small.

This is a kind act of Master Tree, but it also brings trouble to them.

Qixia Temple is located remotely, with several peaks and temples between it and the Demonic Cultivate.

Since Master Shu first opened his magical powers and magical powers, once the demon cultivator invaded and attacked this area, Master Shu can feel his heart every time, so as to respond in advance.

But after the power was exhausted today, this magical power failed to be activated in time.

No one knew at this time that a crisis was approaching them quietly.
