Chapter 52 Go to Hell
Brahma preached the truth with his own example, and he was very persuasive. Unfortunately, Gu Zuo's focus was not on his story, but on curiously asking: "Were Vishnu and Shiva beheaded?"
Brahma nodded: "Beheaded."
Gu Zuo asked: "Death of soul and soul, or reincarnation?"
Brahma said: "My Buddha is so compassionate that my spirit and soul are not destroyed."
Gu Zuo was very curious: "Has he entered the six realms of reincarnation?"
Brahma said: "It is the Abi Hell."
Abi Hell is one of the worlds of Sumeru Heaven. Its establishment completed Sumeritian's own internal cycle. It is an important puzzle piece that supports the evolution and expansion of Sumeru Heaven into the Hunyuan Universe.
Therefore, Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva, who founded the Abi Hell, is also one of the few Bodhisattvas in Sumeru who truly possesses the power of a golden immortal.
Gu Zuo was very interested: "When I was in Heaven, I went to the Qinghua Palace of Taiyi Tianzun several times, and I was also familiar with Immortal Puji who was in charge of the Netherworld Department of the Underworld. I don't know what the Abi Hell of Xumitian and the Netherworld of Qinghua Palace are like.
Similarities and differences?”
Da Brahma said: "It's more complicated to say. To put it simply, what happens after death in all the heavens and worlds outside of the Netherworld and Sumeru Heaven. Abi Hell is responsible for the reincarnation of thousands of believers in Sumeru Heaven. But
There is also a passage connecting the two, but they are not completely separated. This was the agreement reached by Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva and Taiyi Tianzun under the auspices of the Supreme Being. Those who have the Buddha's destiny will go to Abi Hell, and the rest will go to the netherworld of the underworld."
Gu Zuo nodded and said, "So, Abi Hell is modeled after the Netherworld of the Underworld?"
Da Brahma said: "There are references, but there are also differences. For example, in the Netherworld of the Underworld, its punishment for suffering after death is based on the rules of the Abi Hell. It should be noted that before ancient times, there was no punishment in the Netherworld of the Underworld."
Gu Zuo sighed greatly: "This is a real golden immortal method! I don't know when Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva will open the altar. Can I go to listen to the Dharma?"
Brahma smiled and said: "Of course you can, I'll go and find out right now."
After leaving, Brahma asked Saraswati to go to Abi Hell: "Sage, if you want to hear the Bodhisattva's sermon, go and ask when the altar will be opened."
Wonderful Sound Goddess frowned: "Why do you think of Abi Hell? Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva rarely teaches the Dharma."
King Brahma said: "The sage wanted to try to escape from here by following the path of Vishnu and Shiva, but he made a mistake and let the Bodhisattva enlighten him."
Not long after, the goddess Wonderful Sound came back and said: "The Bodhisattva said that there was no Dharma meeting originally, but we can invite the sage to go to the group to test whether he sincerely listens to the Dharma. If he is sincere, we can explain it to Lord Kuisiu. What should we do?
?”
Brahma thought for a while and said: "It doesn't matter, I will take the opportunity to give this sage a blow in the head and let him see the methods of my Sumeru Tianjinxian Bodhisattva. After feeling the majesty, I don't know if he will truly worship the Buddha."
Gu Zuozheng and Mo Lihai discussed the founder of Chunti. He asked: "The two saints Chunti and Jieyin founded the Western religion. They took the Taoist priests to witness Amitabha in the Western world, but where did the Taoist Zhunti go? Many years ago, I always thought
Zhunti confirmed the position of Sakyamuni Buddha in the central Saha world, but now it seems that he is not. Among the five great Buddhas, except Amitabha, the other four are not Hunyuan and can only be called quasi-sages."
Moli Haidao: "Although I have been a member of the twenty-four heavens, I don't know the whereabouts of Patriarch Zhunti. Perhaps only five Buddhas know."
Gu Zuo asked again: "One more question, why does the Supreme Being work so hard to win over people from the three religions for Buddhism? Isn't this poaching his own corner?"
Mo Lihai smiled bitterly: "Even the Golden Immortals don't know about the saint's things, so how can I know about it? Eh? How could you ask these questions, where did you hear about it..."
Two people who knew nothing came together to discuss matters that were hundreds of thousands of miles away from them. They would definitely not come to any useful conclusions, so they chatted for a few words and then followed the returning Brahma to set off for Abi.
hell.
Abi Hell is located one thousand yojanas below Mount Sumeru. A yojana is the distance a bull can travel in one day, which is about twenty miles. In other words, Abi Hell is located 20,000 miles below Mount Sumeru.
Gu Zuo followed Brahma and Wonderful Sound to Leiyin Temple, where he transited and opened the door to the world of Jambudvipa.
Behind the gate is a Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva Hall squeezed into a narrow cave. There are only dim lights in the hall, which is particularly scary deep underground.
After entering the Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva Hall with King Brahma and Wonderful Sound, Gu Zuo saw a monk wearing a Vairocana crown and cassock, holding a tin staff in one hand and a lotus in the other. Compared with the Bodhisattva he had seen before,
Arhat was so simple that he was more like the monks he knew, and he was even different from Brahma.
The Bodhisattva sitting in the main hall has no real energy feedback in Gu Zuo's spiritual realm. Not to mention that he cannot sense it in the spiritual realm. Even if he meets face to face, he cannot feel the slightest bit of magical pressure. Even if he can see it with the naked eye, he will not feel it.
I'm sure there is such a Bodhisattva sitting across from me.
This is the true power of the Golden Immortal!
Gu Zuo bowed respectfully to the Bodhisattva and said, "I have seen the Bodhisattva before."
The Bodhisattva put his hands together and said, "Why does Xingjun need to be so polite? I heard that Xingjun is here to listen to my sermon?"
An auspicious beast emerged from under the case, with a tiger head, one horn, dog ears, dragon body, lion tail, and unicorn feet. It looked like a dragon but not a dragon, like a tiger but not a tiger, like a lion but not a lion, like a unicorn but not a unicorn, and like a dog but not a unicorn.
The dog came to Gu Zuo and started sniffing.
Gu Zuo had already received instructions from the Sea of Demonic Ceremonies, and knew that this was the divine beast in front of Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva who was listening carefully. He knew the principles of Buddhism, understood human nature, and avoided evil. He was especially able to distinguish the true from the false. He immediately said frankly: "I heard that there are many wonderful things in Abi Hell.
, my heart is filled with joy, and I have come here to seek the true Dharma."
After saying this, the divine beast returned to the Bodhisattva's knees and crawled down, behaved like a loyal dog.
Brahma and Saraswati, who were standing next to them, looked at each other and were surprised: "Are you really here to listen to the Dharma?"
The Bodhisattva nodded: "What kind of doorway does Xingjun want to confirm?"
Gu Zuodao: "Can you allow me to see it first?"
The Bodhisattva stood up with a smile and put his tin staff on the ground: "That's fine, please Xingjun move."
After leaving the main hall, the scene in front of me changed. It was a vast country with thousands of miles of mountains and rivers crisscrossing it. The appearance was similar to Gu Zuo's Fengdu world, but there were tens of thousands of times more ghosts. Countless queues that could not be seen ending were all over the wilderness.
Above, the sound of wailing shook the heaven and the earth.
When you look closely, you can see that there are groups of little ghosts using pliers to pull the tongues out of the mouths of the deceased.
The Bodhisattva led Gu Zuo walking in the wilderness, with a compassionate expression on his face: "This is the tongue-pulling hell. Anyone in the world who sows dissension, slanders and harms others, is smooth-tongued, clever in speaking, and lies and deceives will be thrown into this hell after death."
Execution."
Passing through the pairs of crying souls whose tongues were pulled out, Gu Zuosui Bodhisattva suddenly fell down. When he settled down, he saw iron trees covered with sharp blades in front of him, but it was a vast expanse of land.
ironwood forest.
Some ghost soldiers attracted the dead souls one by one, and hung their backs on the sharp iron tree blades. They screamed repeatedly, but they did not dare to struggle. The more they struggled, the more unbearable the pain became.
"This is the Iron Tree Hell. Anyone who alienates flesh and blood and instigates discord between father and son, brothers, sisters, and husband and wife while alive will enter here after death," the Bodhisattva introduced.
Gu Zuo nodded: "One cause corresponds to one effect. It is said to be punishment, but it actually eliminates cause and effect."
