Chapter 018: The Phone

Ning Ye's back stiffened.

Fu Yunting had already taken steps towards her.

His tall figure covered Ning Ye, and he looked down at her. His tone had no ups and downs, but seemed very serious: "Why don't you answer the phone?"

When Ning Ye just put the ringing cell phone into her bag, Fu Yunting should have seen it. She even wanted to lie and say she didn't hear it.

Ning also lowered his head and said nothing.

Fu Yunting stretched out his fingers to lift her chin.

As soon as Ning Ye saw his slender fingers, she couldn't help but feel nervous. The physical contact made her feel panicked and hot.

She ducked back.

She actually felt that many of Fu Yunting's behaviors had crossed the line, but he didn't say it clearly, so Ning didn't dare to mention it.

Fu Yunting pointed his finger.

Under the dim sky, Fu Yunting's eyes were darker than the curtain-like night sky behind him. His voice was low: "Why don't you answer the phone?"

Ning Ye's hair was disheveled, covering half of her face. She thought for a long time before she came up with a poor excuse.

Ning Ye's voice was soft and small: "I thought it was someone else who called me."

Fu Yunting looked at her and said in a deep voice: "Ning Ye."

Ning Ye's heart beat for a moment, and her fingers holding the schoolbag tightened.

But she made no sound.

Fu Yunting was silent when he saw her like this.

In the end, he didn't say anything, turned around and walked out of the school.

Ning also followed behind him.

It was silent all the way.

Fu Yunting got in the car, and Ning followed suit.

Later, because it hurt too much, she leaned her head against the car window.

But not long after, her cell phone rang again, which seemed very abrupt in the silent carriage.

Few people call Ning Ye.

Before Fu Yunting came back, except for Chen Rui and Brother Xu at night, there was basically no call. But when it rang this time, Ning Ye actually had a hunch in his heart who was calling.

"Why didn't you answer?"

Ning Ye was feeling uneasy when Fu Yunting's voice startled her.

She paused, then opened the zipper of her backpack. When she lowered her head, she saw that it was indeed Xiao Liang.

She looked at Xiao Liang's name and pursed her lips. From the corner of her eye, she could see Fu Yunting's sharp jaw and the long, strong fingers holding the steering wheel.

Ning also moved his fingers, but finally hung up and said, "It's a sales call."

She was a little absent-minded later. When Fu Yunting drove around the corner, she still sent a message back to Xiao Liang: "Something happened at school just now. My brother-in-law came to pick me up. Mr. Xiao, what can I do for you?"

Please, wait until I finish the college entrance examination?"

After sending it, she sat in the car and waited for Xiao Liang's text message.

When Xiao Liang received the text message, he was sitting in the driver's seat smoking. He looked down at the text message in his hand and remembered the scene when Ning Ye got into the car with a man just now. He turned off his phone and threw it on the center console.

Turn the steering wheel and drive the car out.

Ning Ye waited for a long time, but did not receive a text message from Xiao Liang. She felt anxious and put her phone away.

As the car drove around the corner, Fu Yunting's cell phone rang suddenly.

He looked down, picked up the phone, and said in a low voice: "Yueyue?"

The Phaeton has a lot of space, and Ning Ye is sitting against the car window. In fact, she is not too close to Fu Yunting.

But in the space that seemed oppressive and cramped due to Fu Yunting's presence, Ning Ye could still clearly hear Fu Yue's clear voice on the other end of the phone.

With a little bit of coquettishness.

"Uncle, when will you come back tonight?"
