Chapter 3 Hunter Morgan

The next morning, after swimming 800 meters back and forth in the basement swimming pool, Juan came to the restaurant on the second floor.

Breakfast is a buffet with quite a wide variety.

While eating, Juan used his brain chip to open his blog platform through the spacecraft network.

Then he discovered that the two videos he sent yesterday had not been posted.

"Your video involves the military and politics, contains violent pornography, and has not passed the review."

"Go to hell!"

However, complaining cannot solve the problem.

Juan could only modify the video, mosaic all the security guards, and reluctantly delete the horrifying scene of the anti-gravity unmanned aerial vehicle "Ghost" annihilating the rebel elves.

But he carefully preserved the cowboy hat of security captain Jack and the "Desert Eagle" high-powered pistol.

This is not military standard equipment and should pass inspection.

Juan then changed the name of the video to "obeying traffic rules is the obligation of every citizen" and "life is priceless, stay away from scumbags, the elf "Yourong" said" and sent it out.

When Juan was halfway through his breakfast, the elf supervisor came over with a rather well-dressed black man.

The black man has a short shaved head, but his hair is almost completely white. There is a short beard around his lips, which is also white with a little bit of black. Along with the deep horizontal lines on his forehead, everyone can see it.

It can be seen that this man is already old.

But the black man's serious face made him look very professional.

But Juan always felt that there was a cynical smile in the corner of the other person's eyes.

But after careful observation, Juan felt that maybe it was just his illusion.

The elf supervisor respectfully introduced to Juan: "This is your guide, the human hunter Mr. Morgan."

Perhaps because he was worried that Juan would dislike him for being too old, the elf supervisor added: "Mr. Morgan is a very experienced veteran."

After getting Juan's consent, Hunter Morgan sat down on the seat opposite Juan.

Only then did Juan notice that Morgan was accompanied by two followers.

They were two dwarfs, only half the height of adult humans.

The one on the left wears a beret, big-toed boots commonly worn by soldiers, and a camouflage military uniform with his sleeves rolled up to his shoulders, revealing his strong arms.

His dark and shiny beard hung down to his belly, but it did not cover the bullet chain hanging on his chest in an X shape.

Seemingly noticing Juan's gaze, Morgan introduced without looking back: "Thorin is a dwarf. He once served in the army of the Human Alliance."

Juan knew that the Human Alliance recruited a large number of humanoid creatures, but they were usually placed in the third and fourth line auxiliary troops and would not let them have access to high-precision equipment.

However, judging from Thorin's motionless stance, he should be well-trained and not the kind of soldier who spends his days raising pigs and vegetables in the fourth-line army.

The other short man was much more agile.

He was wearing a white shirt, a black tie, and trousers, but unlike the waiters in the restaurant, he did not wear black leather shoes, but stood barefoot on the marble floor.

His feet are a bit too big for his size, just like a normal adult, and they have a lot of hair on them.

Juan noticed that the little man's black eyes were very lively and seemed to be full of curiosity about everything.

And he was not afraid of strangers at all. He actually walked to the bar, mixed a cocktail with gin and gin, and served it in front of Morgan.

"Dad, the wine you like to drink."

"Frodo, the halfling, took over from his uncle and took part in the operation I led for the first time.

"He is not good at fighting, but he is good at managing logistics." Morgan introduced briefly while drinking.

Juan felt a little unhappy.

An old black man who drank for breakfast, a retired dwarf, and a novice halfling actually dared to charge 2,000 alliance coins a day. He felt that it was not worth it.

Morgan, who was sitting opposite, took another sip of his cocktail, and then asked: "I heard that you are investigating a planet suitable for immigrants, so what do you want to see? Land suitable for farming, or tree farms with rich products?"

But that was just Juan's excuse. The purpose of his coming to the beautiful planet was certainly not for these reasons.

Juan did not answer immediately. He waited until the elf supervisor left the restaurant, and then said softly: "I came here to find excitement. Is there anything more exciting than farmland and forestry?"

"Stimulate?"

"Yes, exciting. I came all the way from the main star, not to experience ordinary life."

"Okay, I understand." Morgan nodded clearly, as if he had seen such requests from Juan too many times.

He said: "How about going to see the dragon?"

"Dragon?" Juan raised his eyebrows and became interested, "What kind of dragon?"

"A large lizard with wings that breathes fire."

That is the evil dragon in Western legends.

Unexpectedly, there is such a legendary creature on this remote planet.

If you can take a video of the evil dragon, you will definitely earn yourself a lot of popularity.

But it seems that in Western legends, this kind of evil dragon is very difficult to deal with.

Juan, who was thinking this way, asked cautiously: "Is there any danger?"

"Of course, as exciting as it is, it's also more dangerous."

"Can you be more specific about how dangerous it is?"

"There is no return."

Juan stared at Morgan's face seriously, trying to make sure the other person was joking with him.

Morgan's expression didn't seem to change, he was still so serious.

Maybe the other party wasn't joking.

After thinking about it for a while, Juan felt that he might not be able to bear such stimulation, so he backed down.

"Is there anything less exciting than this?"

Juan seemed to see Morgan sneer.

But after quickly calling the computer chip to look back, Juan discovered that it was just his illusion.

Morgan took a sip of his wine and said, "How about a gryphon? It's a creature with a gryphon's head and body and wings."

This seems to be a monster in Western legends, but it is certainly not as popular as the evil dragon.

While Juan was thinking, Morgan continued: "In the village to the south, some villagers reported that a griffon came and ate a lot of their livestock, and they asked me to provide assistance.

"I can leave this task to you. Are you interested in hunting a griffon with your own hands?"

Juan asked with some confusion: "Why do the villagers ask you for help? Why don't they go to the army directly?

"It is the military's duty to protect the lives and property of villagers.

"I believe that if we send a Ghost over there, everything can be done."

"That is not a human village, it is a dragon people. They are not protected by alliance laws."

"Dragon?!"

"They are just a group of lizards that walk upright and can talk. They believe they have dragon genes in their blood, so they gave themselves this name. However, this has been falsified by human genetic testing."

"But even if you are not a human being, as long as you are willing to accept human rule, you should be able to seek help from the army."

"They are afraid of Jack. The natives here are afraid of Jack. No one wants to ask for his help."

Juan nodded, of course he knew the security captain Jack's attitude towards humanoids.

"Then what are you going to use against the gryphon? Do you have any energy weapons?"

"No one is allowed to own energy weapons except the military. That's strictly controlled, but I have enough muskets and ammunition."

Juan thought for a while and felt that the process of hunting griffins with his own hands with a musket might also arouse the interest of many netizens.

After all, on the main planet, hunting wild animals is illegal, and many netizens have never even seen chickens killed.

So Juan nodded and agreed to Morgan's suggestion.
