45. Rescue (Part 2)
Wen Yiran walked to the sofa under the pergola and sat down. Although he looked down at the floor, his eyes glanced at Zhang Weimo who was still staying there from time to time.
"Come and sit for a while." His voice sounded even lower and more charming through the hazy air of the gray night. Her heart was beating fast, and she admitted that her heart was beating at this moment.
Although her heart was beating, she did not move. The autumn wind blew the hem of her skirt, and she stood stiffly, like a scarecrow standing in the field. The air was a little ambiguous, and she lowered her head, unaware of his hot and loving eyes.
When he saw that she was motionless, he walked over gracefully, and after a few seconds of careful consideration, he took her left hand. She was startled for a moment, looking at the hand he held, and then at his sculpted profile.
Face, led by him, followed him to the pergola.
Zhang Weimo's heart has not calmed down for a long time, and his hand has not let go. The two of them stood under the moonlight, with the pergola above their heads hanging down. Her hair was blown by the wind, and there was an unknown fragrance in the air.
The scent of hair lotion.
Wen Yiran let go of her hand and looked at her hair blown by the wind: "The wind is so good tonight."
Her eyebrows were arched, she smiled sweetly, and smoothed her hair around her ears.
"Why isn't your friend with you?" He sat down and asked with interest.
She bit her lip with some grievance: "I didn't expect a banquet like this. I don't know anyone. It's too abrupt to stay there."
When he knew that he didn't know anything about this banquet, he curled up his lips and said, "Ah... I see."
Wen Yiran raised his eyes: "Then...I'll take you out."
"Is this okay?"
"Nothing is wrong. The wall in the backyard is not high, we can climb over it."
Zhang Weimo answered hesitantly, but in his heart he wanted to leave: "But... I promised my friend not to leave her behind."
Perhaps seeing through her thoughts, he insisted: "It doesn't matter. I will ask my assistant to take her back when the time comes. Don't worry."
She murmured in her heart: "How will I explain it to her then? She must know his assistant."
At this moment, Xiaowei didn't see her idol, and she was a little anxious and disappointed. She walked to the backyard and shouted at the top of her voice: Xiaomomo, Xiaomomo.
Hearing the noise, Yiran immediately pulled her and hid behind an oblong holly tree. He panted hurriedly, looked at the person who made the sound, and gently pressed her head down to avoid being discovered.
.
Zhang Weimo lowered his head and looked at the dark land under his feet. This was the first time they were so close to each other, almost holding the same intimate distance.
"Didn't you say it was in the backyard?" Seeing the darkness in the backyard and no one around, Xiaowei muttered and left.
After Xiao Wei left, both of them breathed a sigh of relief. He let go of his hand and Zhang Weimo finally raised his head. The two looked at each other for a few seconds. She stood up suddenly and straightened her hair.
"Is she your friend?" He pointed at the leaving girl with his thumb.
She nodded: "Yeah."
"No wonder..." He guessed that the girl seemed to be in the group photo taken last time.
"What's the wonder?"
"Oh, it's nothing, I just think it looks familiar."
Before he could ask, Zhang Weimo made the first move: "As you have seen, she is your fan."
"Yes!" He pretended to be very surprised when he heard her answer.
After saying that, the two of them fell into an awkward situation again.
