Chapter 102 The dwarf will abide by the agreement

 Thus, the unilateral massacre began.

Looking down from above, the camp of dwarves looks like a silver-white dump truck, rolling forward slowly, leaving a black road covered with Orc corpses.

The Orcs were losing courage faster than ever before.

This is not an opponent of the same magnitude at all, and they are completely unable to cause even a little bit of damage to these dwarves.

Then the crowding and pushing began. On the narrow plank road and suspension bridge, the Oaks retreated in panic. Many Oaks were trampled to death, and more Oaks were squeezed down and fell into the depths of the hollow.<

"Don't retreat! You rotten garbage!" The huge Oak King stood on the platform and shouted in command: "Push them down!"

Phew——

An arrow was shot from the dwarves' formation and stuck directly into the side of King Oak's face.

King Oak covered his face, screamed and fell on the throne.

"Nice shot! Kili!"

Thorin praised and pointed his sword at the central platform: "Don't let the Oak King and the Ringwraiths escape!"

The Ringwraith has escaped.

They were just dead, not stupid. They couldn't beat the opponent without armor before. I originally wanted to control more Oaks and look for opportunities, but I didn't expect that the dwarves didn't have martial ethics at all. They came to the door before dawn.

.

No matter how they looked at it, they didn't think that they or the Oaks present would be the opponents of these undead dwarves who were armed to the teeth.

King Oak finally realized something was wrong. He struggled to get up and shouted in horror: "Cut off the suspension bridge! Don't let them come over!"

But there were no Oaks left to obey King Oak's orders. The loyalty of such dark creatures had always been a joke. They all swarmed onto the plank roads around the cave and fled along the exits hidden everywhere.

The dwarves ignored the frightened Orcs. There were so many of them that even if they stood still and let everyone chop them down, it would take them a day and a night. To completely conquer this lair, they only needed to take off the head of the Orc King.

So the dwarves accelerated their advance, especially when there was no longer any resistance from the Oaks. They were almost unstoppable, and soon caught up with the slow-moving Oak King.

"Get away! You damn intruders!"

The Oak King waved the scepter with the goat's head pierced in his hand, and the huge power brought up the smelly wind, hitting Thorin at the head, and Thorin was directly knocked away.

So, Salin waved his giant hammer and rushed forward.

Well, this scene is a bit familiar. Thorin received the same treatment when he faced Azog, another Orc leader.

However, this Oak King is larger than Azog, but slower. It happens to be Sarin's favorite opponent. It cannot avoid Sarin's giant hammer. The spiked hammer head sinks with great force.

The ground hit King Oak's face, making a tooth-breaking sound of bone cracking.

"Back off! Let me come!"

With the protection of mithril armor and the curse of immortality, Thorin was not injured at all, but all the dwarves could hear the rage in his voice.

The king will never tolerate being repulsed! Twice!

What's more, he is the king who earned the title of Oak Shield by relying on his own force!

So he jumped up and struck King Oak's knee with the blade in his hand.

Then, King Oak suddenly fell to the ground, motionless, and could no longer die.

"Thorin is mighty!"

Shalin praised loudly: "You defeated the Oak King and successfully led us to break through the Oak lair!"

"Thorin Oakenshield!"

The dwarves shouted Thorin's name one after another.

Thorin held the weapon and looked at the Oak King on the ground in a daze.

The opponent's huge head was at his feet and had been smashed flat.

I don’t know why, I’m not happy at all...

He glanced at Shalin with complicated eyes, slowly raised the weapon in his hand, and shouted: "For Durin!"

"For the king under the mountain!" the dwarves cheered and lifted their visors.

Looking around, there are no more Oaks in the entire Oak lair. These dark creatures may not dare to come back here in a short time.

"A hearty victory." Gandalf commented in a long tone: "Your deeds will inspire many people. Maybe one day, we can completely drive the Orcs out of the Misty Mountains."

"Is this why you have been sitting in the middle of the formation watching the show?" Tang Sen glanced at him and found that the other party was not only watching the show, but he even lit up his pipe without knowing when.

"I am a wizard." He gestured to his illuminated staff: "I am playing my role."

A walking flashlight, right?

Tang Sen thought of the bottle of treasure that contained the light of the Silmarillion on his body, and suddenly felt that that thing might be regarded as a portable Gandalf...

"What next?" Gandalf returned to the topic: "Is what you are looking for here?"

"If nothing else happens——"

Tang Sen said: "We need to go to the depths of the lair, a place where even the Oaks in the lair will not set foot."

"But take off your mithril armor first. I don't want the noise you make when you move to disturb the owner there. If we miss this opportunity, we may never be able to find him again."

As soon as Tang Sen said these words, the joy on the faces of the dwarves suddenly solidified.

"Actually... I think we can just wear breastplates so that we won't make any noise." A dwarf said.

"Are the dwarves prepared to betray their trust?" Tang Sen asked bluntly.

"No... of course not..." The dwarves shook their heads repeatedly, but none of them made any move to take off the mithril armor.

"Traveler -" Thorin took a deep breath and stepped forward, "Dwarves are the most reputable race. We will definitely return the mithril armor to you, but the road ahead is still very dangerous, especially ours.

Destination."

"If we have Mithril Armor, we will be more confident in facing the dragon."

"I'm afraid the mithril armor can't stop the dragon's dragon flames." Tang Sen said lukewarmly: "Besides, how to fight against the dragon is my business. All you need to do is to abide by the agreement, or..."

Tang Sen narrowed his eyes: "Thorin Oakenshield, you can choose to kill me here and steal the mithril armor."

Thorin's face showed a struggling expression.

Shalin quietly moved a few steps this way and stood in front of Tang Sen without leaving a trace.

"Traveler, that's too much!" A dwarf behind Thorin shouted angrily: "How could Thorin have such an idea!"

"That's right! We would never do such a thing!"

Tang Sen looked at the dwarves one by one. Fortunately, Tang Sen could see that the anger on their faces was not disguised.

These dwarves are indeed greedy for mithril armor, but they have no sinister thoughts and believe that their king is just like them.

"Traveler, the dwarves will abide by the agreement."

So, Thorin finally spoke, took off his helmet first, and handed it over.

"Of course I believe you, Thorin Oakenshield." Townsend smiled meaningfully at him, "Besides, no one can use my mithril without my consent."

Saying this, the dwarves suddenly discovered that the mithril armor on their bodies was slowly changing. The joints of the armor softened, and then with a clang, all the mithril armor disintegrated and fell to the ground.

They stared at this scene dumbfounded, and when they looked at Tang Sen, the greed and anger in their eyes had been replaced by fear.

"I seem to have forgotten to remind everyone."

Gandalf, who had been standing aside and silently watching everything, suddenly said:
