Chapter 81 Chapter 081 Urgency 3 (Xie Chu Liuyun Leader)(2/2)

His expression stiffened slightly, then calmed down again.

"It's better to walk."

"Where are you two going? Do you want to give you a ride?"

Suddenly a gentle female voice came from the side.

Song Ran and Li Chengyi heard the sound and looked over, and saw a small old red car parked beside them slowly.

The driver was a woman in a black dress who was about thirty years old. She had black hair shawl, a gentle face, and pearl earrings looming through her hair.

Seeing the vaguely suspicious looks in Song Ran's eyes, the woman smiled and explained.

"You should be the temporary visiting representatives from Hongjin, right? The school arranged for me to receive you. My name is Zhuang Fuxin, and I am a teaching assistant here. According to the appointment time, I have been waiting here for a while."

"Teacher Zhuang, yes, we have made an appointment. I'll bother you then." Song Ran quickly winked at Li Chengyi and took the initiative to get in the car.

Li Chengyi frowned and could only follow.

The small car can only seat three people. It is a tricycle covered with a shell, and can only seat two people in the back.

The car started, accelerated, and headed towards the employee building.

"If you want to visit Professor Zhong, it's best to come in the morning. At this time, he should still be taking a nap, so you may have to wait for a while." Zhuang Fuxin explained while driving.

"There is no other way. We are also in a hurry. We made an appointment with Professor Zhong in advance before coming here." Song Ran replied casually.

Soon, a few minutes later, the car stopped in front of an old residential building.

The two got off the car, Song Ran thanked Zhuang Fuxin, then took the lead to find the entrance of the building, and entered the elevator together with Li Chengyi.

Arriving at door 203, Song Ran stepped forward, reached out and gently pressed the doorbell.

Jingle bells.

The traditional doorbell kept ringing, and could be heard clearly through the door and even in the stairwell.

"Here we come." The voice of an elderly lady came out.

Then the sound of footsteps approached.

The door opened with a click, revealing a somewhat wary eye.

"Who are you looking for?" the old lady asked warily, looking at the two of them through the crack in the door.

"We made an appointment with Professor Zhong, Xiao Song and Xiao Li who just called." Song Ran replied with a smile.

"The appointment was made? Lao Zhong, did you make the appointment?" The old lady turned back and asked towards the back room.

"Ah, it's an appointment. Let them come in." A somewhat frail old man in the back room replied.

The door opened immediately, and the old lady brought the two of them a change of slippers.

After the two of them entered and closed the door, she went to the kitchen to pour water.

"Old Zhong is reading the newspaper in the living room. Just come over and I'll pour you some water." She said calmly and her expression softened.

"No, don't bother Auntie. We'll just ask a question and leave." Song Ran explained with a smile.

"No trouble, no trouble." The old lady also smiled and turned around and went into the kitchen.

"Just for such a small thing, you have to make a special trip. It's really hard for you, oh, young people nowadays." The old lady muttered as she went to boil water.

Song Ran and Li Chengyi exchanged glances and walked to the living room.

In the living room, sitting on the sofa covered with a small white floral sofa towel, was a thin old man with snow-white hair and small eyes with only two slits.

The old man was holding a newspaper in one hand and a mobile phone in the other. He was using the zoom function on the mobile phone to read the contents of the newspaper line by line.

Hearing the footsteps, he raised his head and looked at the two of them.

"As for your degree, I can only give you the course I am responsible for. In fact, it is already too late to come to me at this time. You should have come earlier."
