Chapter 251 Letter of Help

After several days passed, Esky left the vampire's daughter to the nurse they found to take care of, and Esky no longer cared about the follow-up of the experimental product.

At noon, the blinds in the living room of the palace were closed, and on the dark cushion, only the fluorescence of the scarlet mouse eyes could provide a faint light.

Eski sat in the middle of the living room, enjoying the service of two vampire maids, who carefully combed his long white hair with bone combs, making him a little drowsy.

Then, Hekati pushed the door and broke the leisure.

"The person ran away."

The vampires were unhappy to avoid the glimmer of light coming in, while the white-haired mouse opened one of its eyes and twitched its nose slightly.

"Little Prince?"

Hekaty shrugged, "He's gone."

Esky said softly, stretched his waist and leaned against one of the vampires' chest.

"Did the little devil run by himself, or did someone help him run?"

Hekati leaned against the door frame, crossing his hands, "No one knew, but the traces left told me that he was heading to the slum."

"Well, go see what my magic apprentice is going to do."

Under the service of the maid, Eski put on the blue and gold robe in Lemian style and walked out of the palace, while Hekati turned into a shadow and disappeared from the spot.

The vampire maids wore big brimmed hats embroidered with red flowers, covered their faces with gauze, and used dark silk to cover the sunlight on their skin, following the rat man in front of them who did not cover their faces at all.

The search time was not long. The Magic Wind had noticed the traces of the apprentice, and his magical level was obviously not enough to cover up his magical traces.

Esky left the core area around the palace, walked through the bustling market and towering sandstone temples, and gradually walked towards the edge of Lemia, the Maharac slum that was avoided by the locals.

It is located in the west of the city, far from the busy marinas in the north and east, and is separated from the glorious core of the palace by miles of sand and dust.

Some slightly weathered mud bricks and decaying wood were piled up in a low residence, at most two or three floors. Even if the person inside saw a mouse head appearing in front of them, he did not make a fuss, and there was only numbness on their faces.

The narrow streets were filled with stench, and a few shallow ruts were scattered beside the manure pile, like traces left by carriages or camel carriages when transporting manure to farms outside the city.

Soon, a camel cart passed by Esky's eyes, and the groom above was full of disgust for the Maharaks around him.

Rather than saying that the Lemias were willing to help clean up the feces of these Maharaks, they were worried that if they were not cleaned up, the stench would spread to other areas of the city.

The magic wind shuttled through these alleys that emitted stinky from time to time, guiding Esky.

In the alley, in front of a not-so-thin boy, there was a obviously stronger boy standing, with a faint green light emitting from his hands.

Although wearing rough and shabby linen, Esky could easily recognize it through the wind of life, which is Menis, the little prince of Lemia.

He seems to be rescuing a little Maharak refugee boy, using magic he had just learned in Side1 not long ago.

Eski frowned. The boy's physical condition did not look hungry. The Lemians did not like starving ghosts on their territory. These ghosts would not starve to death.

As for what disease is...

He glanced at the woman who was looking at the refugee boy with a worried look on his face. They were only wearing tulle with some simple decorations, and at a glance they could tell that they were wandering people outside.

After a while, the wind of life brought a report. In their family, except for the two elderly people whose breath of life was quite weak, there were only these women and this little boy.

The vampire maids also noticed this. This family is entirely supported by those wandering orioles, a common Maharac family that has been declining for hundreds of years.

But they don't care. It would be nice for the Lemians to take in these refugees four hundred years ago. Who cares about how they make a living?

And what to say seems to be no less noble than serving a large number of men.

Esky withdrew his gaze and did not intend to care about the little boy's illness anymore. A house of wanderings would not let him take the risk of being targeted by the god of life and disease.

He just stood behind his apprentice and sarcastically said.

"It seems that the royal family of Lemia doesn't care about their own lives. They will soon get infected with a strange disease and will die. But it doesn't matter. Lemia's ancestor, the noble saint, Nephreta, is planning to reproduce another branch of king's blood."

Menis's body stiffened when he heard this, and the green light shook, but he quickly stabilized and continued to focus on magic.

Esky narrowed his eyes and observed, his nose tip twitched, there was no strange magic power in the air, and all the magic winds were flowing normally, and there seemed to be no corrosive effect.

But if this little prince continues to mess around in such a dirty place, it will sooner or later attract peeping from the plague garden.

"Tsk, boy, you have chosen a good place to practice."

He whispered, but he was too lazy to care about it anymore.

The vampire maids stood behind, cold as usual.

Esky stretched and turned to leave the dilapidated alley.

Just after taking a few steps, Hekati's shadow quietly emerged.

"Let's go, don't let the trouble come to you."

He waved his claws, and the golden and blue reflections on the robe flashed slightly.

As soon as he took a few steps, the dark elves found him in the shadows.

"Nephreta is back, the first thing he does is to summon you."

Eski stood up and moved his paws, "She looks like she is preparing to sue her?"

"I don't know, but her Ushabit has already started searching for people in the city."

Esky's nose moved slightly, turned his head and glanced at the little prince, and a snorted softly, a short and rapid voice popped out, and his tone was long,

Returning to the palace, Esky leaned on the cushion and grabbed the vampire maid and was about to fall down. Hekati appeared again and said.

"Don't sleep, she's waiting."

Esky opened his eyes lazy,

"So anxious? Is she afraid that the little devil will run away?"

Hekati didn't answer, but just gave way.

Esky stood up and shook his robe, and walked to the depths.

"If the little prince gets over the game, he will be unlucky."

He shook his head and raised his lips slightly. No one in this city knew better than him about life and the horror of Nurgle, the father of plague.

Eski was about to cross the corridor to the palace when a rushing pace broke the silence.

A tired messenger was brought to him by Lemia's guards.

The clan rats were covered in tattered rat leather jackets, with pale lips and even chapped hair. The fur on their faces was covered with sea salt, so they were almost unable to stand firmly.

He handed over a roll of crumpled rat crust paper - a letter from Side1.

Esky opened it and saw Alclin's handwriting:

“The rebellion broke out in the dungeon.

It was evil breath, the two clans of the clans, and they obtained more troops than expected.

There are at least thirteen claw groups, a whole claw army, with the shadows of the warlord clan and the Mod clan behind them.

The Skuri and Mede clan forces are currently in a stalemate with them in the parliament hall.

I can be on the stalemate for the time being, but I can't do anything more reinforcements once they arrive.

Return to help quickly.

Alclin.”

Esky's eyes remained for a moment, and the tip of his nose twitched several times.

"Nephreta, I won't go see you."

He lowered his mind and threw the letter to his maid.

"I can't wait for her. Tell her that she'd better bring the little prince back as soon as possible, and I'll make her eggs for her when I come back."
