Chapter 192: Emergency situation

The entire Leviathan command vehicle is like a moving steel fortress. Compared with this behemoth, the Baneblade tank is as small as an ant.

The transport plane flew to the apron on top of the command vehicle, and Creed, who stepped out of the cabin, saw the two castle masters at a glance.

The two castle masters, Kleinmarus and Calvin, were on top of the command vehicle to greet the Voskani who arrived first.

More than a thousand Voskani infantry lined up in order, and their company commander saluted the two fort masters with an eagle salute.

"You have worked hard along the way." Malus waved to the servo skeleton beside him.

A servo skull with a tray on the top of its head flew towards Malus. There was red wine and a wine glass on the tray on the skull's head.

Malus, the chief fortress, poured a glass of wine himself and handed it to the company commander in front of him.

The company commander refused expressionlessly: "Thank you Lord, but we will not drink alcohol before the war begins."

"As expected of the most tenacious army in the entire Cadian Gate." Malus praised with great satisfaction, and then put the wine glass back into the tray.

Creed stared at the Voskani captain and his soldiers. These men had firm expressions and did not look like traitors at all.

"Is your landing ship arriving on the plain soon?" Malus asked kindly, "The military parade will not begin until your Voskani cavalry arrive. The military parade is prepared to welcome you."

"It's coming soon. When we arrive by transport plane, the landing ship is already picking up people," the company commander replied.

"Very good, very good." Malus nodded with a smile, and then looked at Calvin, the second castle lord next to him, who also smiled and nodded. It can be seen that the two of them were excited about the arrival of the Voskani Iron Cavalry.

Full of expectations.

Malus and Calvin praised the company commander a few more words, then turned around and came to Creed and Klein.

"Why isn't the Eighth Regiment ready for the military parade?" Malus asked with a smile.

"Some trouble happened." Creed made up an excuse to excuse himself.

Malus didn't go into details. He called Creed here not to accuse him, but so that he could watch the military parade from the top of the command vehicle.

While Malus and Creed were talking, Calvin walked up to Klein and the Merchant Guards, admiring the power armor worn by the Guardsmen and talking about purchasing power armor.

Soon, five transport ships penetrated the atmosphere of the fortress world and slowly fell towards the Toyoko Plain.

"The Voskani are coming." Malus glanced up at the sky, then picked up the communicator and gave the order: "The military parade can begin."

All the troops on the plain who were ready for the military parade took action. They marched slowly in front of the Leviathan command vehicle with uniform steps.

Everyone on the top of the command vehicle was led by the castle owners to the edge, overlooking the ongoing military parade.

Klein was very interested in this grand military parade, and his eyes were always fixed on the slowly marching troops in front of the command vehicle.

Creed stood beside the two castle masters, but he was not in the mood to watch the military parade. His eyes always fell on the Voskani people.

These people did not watch the military parade. The company commander and his soldiers stood there with expressionless faces, as if they were a group of statues rather than living people.

As time passed by, several transport ships carrying all members of the Voskani Iron Cavalry gradually landed on the plain, and then millions of people walked out of the transport ship and onto the plain in uniform steps.

Malus and Calvin watched the situation on the transport ship and were full of praise for the Voskani Iron Cavalry.

From the beginning to the end, Creed was staring at the company commander and his soldiers on the opposite side, with his hands behind his back, ready to draw his gun and fight at any time.

However, what puzzled Creed was that the company commander and his soldiers never responded.

"Stop standing there stupidly." Malus suddenly turned his head and looked at the company commander, "I order you to come over and watch the military parade."

"I'm just a company commander." The company commander replied, "The order I received is to go to the surface first and report to you the news that the entire corps is about to arrive."

The company commander's attitude made Creed even more confused.

If the reason why these Voskani people came to the castle master was to carry out the beheading plan, then the time when the castle master sent out the invitation was the best time to start beheading, but the company commander did not take any action.

Is it really true that Lord Tyrone’s prophecy was wrong?

Creed thought about it, and the tense muscles all over his body gradually relaxed.

"I ordered you to come here, do you want to resist the Lord's order?" Malus smiled.

"But the castle master..."

"Don't be so rigid all the time. This is not a time of war. Come here quickly."

"All right."

The company commander reluctantly agreed. He took off all the weapons on his body and handed them to his subordinates, and then walked towards the empty seat next to Malus.

Creed watched all this. He had not completely let down his guard yet, but he was already thinking about asking Klein to tell the Lord of Tyrone afterwards: Please do not send any more prophecies in the future.

"What do you think of this military parade?" Malus asked the company commander.

"I'm just a company commander." The company commander replied, "My opinion doesn't matter."

"No, no, no, your superiors allowing you to take the first step means that they trust you. You should be a very capable young officer. Of course, your opinions are important." Malus said.

"I am still not qualified to judge this military parade, but I can represent the entire Voskani Iron Cavalry to thank you for your arrangement."

"..."

The company commander responded to Malus with a humble and cautious attitude. He seemed to find this military parade very boring, and kept fiddling with the epaulettes on his shoulders with his right hand.

"When I was young, I was invited by your corps to go to the industrial area to review new recruits." Malus recalled what happened when he was young. "The Voskani people's love for steel is amazing. Everything is made of iron."

"Yes, including our epaulettes." The company commander nodded in agreement.

Everyone on top of the command vehicle except Creed continued to watch the parade.

The same goes for the Voskani Iron Cavalry who have just arrived on the Toyoko Plain. They line up in neat queues and will never relax unless they receive an order to rest.

Malus's eyes shifted from the military parade to the Volscani Iron Cavalry, and then he saw someone holding a flag high and walking through the neat phalanxes.

Because the distance was too far, Malus could only see that the flags were black, and the patterns on them were unclear.

Is the background color of the Volscani Iron Cavalry flag black? A question suddenly popped into Malus' head, and he reached for the telescope hanging on his waist.

His reaction was seen by the company commander on the side. The company commander's face was still expressionless, but his eyes became deeper.

The next second, the company commander suddenly pulled off his epaulette and slit Malus' throat. His speed was so fast that Creed, who had been staring at him, couldn't see clearly.
