Chapter Nine hundred and Thirty: Escape from Sick Jiao 4(1/2)

Ying Qian paused in his steps.

The pressure coming from behind surged to the extreme in an instant.

She could feel that the nun was staring at her closely with those cold eyes.

The fingertips trembled and were controlled by a strong heart.

Yingqian slowly turned her head, looked up at the nun, tried her best to look panicked, and asked in a timid voice:

"Sister, did you call me?"

The nun didn't respond to her. After all the other children had left, she glanced at Yingqian and said coldly:

"Follow me."

She walks ahead.

In the silence that gradually fell around.

The heavy footsteps sounded like some terrifying monster.

Yingqian followed the nun and saw that the cross wrapped around her wrist was stained with bits of food and was already a little darker in color, but she didn't notice it at all.

It's really pious.

Muttering quietly in his heart, Yingqian hunched his shoulders and tried his best to memorize the route after leaving the restaurant.

She doesn't know what the hell this orphanage is.

It's built like a maze.

Still reluctant to turn on the light.

As a result, as the sky gradually sinks, no light can pass through the windows, and the corridor almost becomes pitch black.

I don’t know how many turns I took.

The nun finally stopped and took out a bunch of iron keys from her arms. She opened the chain lock on the door, pointed to the dark room inside, raised her chin to Ying Qian, and ordered:

"Go in."

Not a word of unnecessary nonsense.

She just stared at Yingqian with a serious face.

Let her understand it in an instant.

This is not a negotiation.

It's a notification.

Ying Qian squinted her eyes, trying to see clearly what was inside the room.

There was only thick darkness in the visible line of sight.

She couldn't see anything.

"Why?"

Yingqian crossed his arms, with a timid look on his face.

"Sister, did I do something wrong?"

"If you do something wrong, you should be punished."

The nun stood at the door, and the emotion in her eyes finally showed a slight ups and downs, which was similar to grief, but more like pity.

Yingqian was stunned for a while.

It took some effort to remember what she had done wrong.

"Because I dropped my fork?"

The nun did not deny what she said, but seemed to take it as acquiescence. The keychain she carried in her arms shook her, silently urging Yingqian.

"Tomorrow morning, I will come to pick you up. I hope you can realize your mistake and never make it again."

She has no more patience and free time.

So she took long strides and walked to Yingqian. With just a gentle push on her back, the irresistible force caused her to stumble into the room.

Darkness invaded in an instant.

But the next second.

There was the harsh sound of the door being tightly closed, and the subsequent clang of the chain locks.

The child's body was too weak. Yingqian fell to the ground and couldn't stand up for a long time.

The skin on my palms and knees seemed to be scratched.

The faint smell of blood mixed with the damp and rotting mold.

Her nose twitched, her fingertips lightly touched the wall, and she walked around the room while rubbing it little by little.

A room of less than ten square meters.

There is nothing inside.

It's like using an opaque stone to smash out a door.

It is good for trapping disobedient children inside and punishing them.

The surroundings are really too quiet.

The beating of the heart beat in my ears like a drum.

Yingqian tried his best to slow down his breathing, but he still couldn't control it and started thinking wildly.

The system is completely gone.

No matter how much I look for it, it's like it's never been there.

What went wrong again?

Or should I say...

Yingqian huddled in the corner, raising her arms to cover half of her face.

The temperature in the room was obviously very low.

A thin layer of sweat appeared on her forehead, and even her breathing gradually became heavier.

"Yingqian?"

A subtle call suddenly rang in my ears.

There was a moment.

Yingqian couldn't even tell whether this was a dream or reality.

But when his voice sounded again.

Her eyes widened suddenly, and she stumbled to the door, holding on to her numb legs.

"I'm here!"

"It's me."

Yan Cheng's shadow appeared from behind the railing outside the door.

Seeing Ying Qian's pale face, he was stunned for a moment, and then asked hurriedly:

"I heard that you were punished by a nun, so I came over to see you. You don't look good. Are you feeling uncomfortable somewhere?"

Seeing his worried eyes, Yingqian pressed her forehead and spoke in a hoarse voice:

"It's okay, it's just a bit cold..."

"You have just recovered and you have to sleep here all night. How can you do that?"

Yan Cheng pursed his lips.

Jian Yingqian lowered her eyes, and even though she was in the dark, she could only see her unclear shadow.

But he still felt bursts of unreasonable tension because of her suffering.

Very strange.

But Yan Cheng didn't want Ying Qian to stay here alone.

She will get sick.

"Wait for me for a while."

Yan Cheng thought for a while, took out a piece of candy from his pocket, passed it through the railing and handed it to Ying Qian.

"I'll be back when you finish eating the candy."

This is clearly a trick used to coax children.

But Yingqian still took the candy.

A corner of the tooth was knocked off, and a little sweet taste was tasted on the tip of the tongue.
To be continued...
