Chapter 95: The Core of Immortal Martial Arts

(I can’t help but make a digression. The martial arts in this world itself are derived from the system of cultivating immortals, so when you read it, please don’t ignore this.)

Lu Fan briefly summarized some core elements of Xianwu.

First, for the establishment of Xianwu, one of the following conditions must be met.

Either follow the path of cultivating immortals first and build the foundation of Taoism.

Either adopt the warrior style first and break through the innateness.

After achieving either of the two, you can start planting the seeds of immortal martial arts and start a series of subsequent practices.

Secondly, after getting started with Xianwu and finding a balance, Qi/mana are considered common.

You can directly use mana to attack the enemy or defend yourself, or you can use infuriating energy to drive spells.

Spells are hard to find and need to be refined. Directly controlling the true energy to fight the enemy is a little less varied and a little more direct.

Thirdly, for traditional Qi practitioners, Xianwu can only be improved by mastering the balance, otherwise it is meaningless.

After finding the balance, everything remains the same, except for a lot more: slowly strengthening the physical body, giving the mana quality, and not changing the essential benefits.

Not to mention strengthening the physical body, this is a passive effect.

The other one is what Lu Fan longs for.

Mana can be selectively attached with Qi qualities, and it will not change the nature of its own mana.

The advantage of true energy over mana is that it is more direct and effective, and it can be used to attack and defend the enemy when released.

Fourth, Xianwu is not as exaggerated and abnormal as imagined. It is also a path of cultivation and can be understood as a new school.

If those who cultivate immortality do not have immortal martial arts, it will not be a problem for them to cultivate immortality.

Those who practice martial arts do not have immortal martial arts, and the breakthrough to the innate level is basically the end.

To fully understand the secret scripture given by Guo Feng, you must first understand the concept of Daoji, which is the key to this secret scripture.

Foundation building is the birth of a person (monk).

There is a body, a trunk, and organs.

Only with the foundation of the Dao can there be Dao practice.

After Xiantian, there is not much difference in the intensity of Qi.

In order to increase the strength of Qi more efficiently and conveniently, the people who created the Senwu style thought of the Taoist practices in 'Sen'.

As we all know, Dao Xing directly acts on mana. On the contrary, in Xianwu Liu, Dao Xing also acts on Zhen Qi.

"Wait! My magic power... turns out to be the magic power of one year of Taoism!"

Lu Fan murmured to himself.

In his body, the magic power obtained from the donation of copper plates was particularly strong.

In fact, that is the power of Dao Xing.

Lu Fan himself has not yet possessed a year of Taoism, and those magical powers were caused by special reasons.

It is very simple to have a year of Taoism. Just sell dates and give alms consistently.

After doing this for a year, the mana generated in his body will be full of mana, because he has one year of Taoism.

This is a stupid method.

Taoism does not only grow in this way, but can also be cultivated through other means.

Some schools of thought are based on meditation and enlightenment, and if you have "enlightenment", you will increase your Taoism.

Some sects need to go down the mountain to eliminate demons and benefit the people. If they do it well, they will increase their Taoism.

There are too many methods, and even eating some heavenly materials and earthly treasures can increase your Taoism.

From Lu Fan's modern thinking, to him, Xianwu means forging a new Taoist foundation on top of the old Taoist foundation.

Uh...it's a patch!

For Lu Fan, Xianwu was a very excellent method.

Yes, it is a means rather than a method, a method, or a method of mind.

What he wants is that the mana has the qualities of true energy.

He is born with the ability to attack and defend.

It can continuously strengthen the physical body and cleanse and purify it.

Especially the latter, it can be regarded as completing the missing part of Lu Fan's method.

There must be a way to protect the physical body in Sazu's inheritance, but the immortality is incomplete, only the Qi refining method.

What a general outline of Qi refining method!

Fortunately, there is a magical system like Xianwu in this world.

True Qi is valuable within oneself. Practitioners can control the true Qi to fight and better bless themselves.

Mana is valuable in spells. Practitioners use mana to drive spells to fight, which is unpredictable.

Having both is considered another form of internal and external cultivation.

The person who created the secret book has confirmed that mana and true energy can be compared to: Yin and Yang.

Yin is invisible, linked to the spirit, and can change with the wild thoughts.

So it's more suitable for driving spells.

Yang has quality and is linked to the body. After communicating with heaven and earth, it continuously cleanses and strengthens itself and unearths the treasures of the human body.

So it is more convenient to use directly.

If you can find a balance between the two, you can have the best of both worlds.

With random thoughts, mana can be used as a mass attack, or used to drive spells, all in one thought.

The ultimate balance must be achieved.

Otherwise, those who are partial to yin will still be mana, and those who are partial to yang will still be true energy.

"Cultivation of both life and life? No, no, no, it's not considered dual cultivation of life and life. It should be said...I want both body and spirit!"

Lu Fan made this evaluation of the Xianwu system.

Among traditional Qi practitioners, unless they practice special methods, few are extremely physically strong.

This unusual tyranny means that he is stronger than the monks who cultivate both life and life, much, much stronger.

It’s not that there aren’t any, just few.

Typical representatives include: Yang Jian and Sun Wukong.

The former practiced the Eight-nine Mysterious Skills intensively, took a sip of the golden elixir into his belly, achieved nine turns, and merged his physical body with his soul.

The physical body is indestructible, and the soul is indestructible to all laws.

Since his physical body and soul are fused into one, it can be said that his magic defense and physical defense are full.

Monkeys are much simpler. They have extraordinary feet, become indestructible after becoming immortals, and have extremely high spell resistance.

However, the methods used by these two in fighting are still divided into: martial arts and Taoism.

When Yang Jian faced the enemy, he usually carried his weapons and struck them in succession. When he had time or when necessary, he would knead magic formulas, recite spells, and cast spells.

Martial arts are martial arts, and Taoism is Taoism.

Lu Fan could see that the Xianwu system tried its best to pursue martial arts and combine Taoism and law into one, but in the end it failed.

We can only settle for the next best thing and find the best of both worlds in balance.

Those who practice martial arts are called true energy, and those who practice immortality are called magic power.

It can not only drive spells, but also directly control the battle like a warrior.

One thing to note is that the Xianwu system is not necessarily better than pure Qi refining.

The original intention is to find a path for spiritual practice for people with insufficient talent.

In Lu Fan's view, this rhetoric was a bit grandiose. It might as well be said that the Dafeng Dynasty wanted to strengthen the army.

Don’t forget, the predecessor of Senwu style was ordinary warriors, and everyone can practice it.

The appearance of warriors directly raises the [quality] of the army to a higher level.

Immortal martial arts is a continuation of martial arts and a subsequent promotion path for those with outstanding talents.

Dafeng successfully created Xianwu, but Dajing plucked the peach.

Warriors have been popular for hundreds of years, but there are still no rumors of immortal martial arts in the world. It must be that Dajing tried his best to hide them.

........

The next morning.

Lu Fan was still meditating on the stone bench, when mist floated in the sky, bringing with it the slightest drizzle.

This is the normal weather that Jiangnan should have. It is rare for it not to rain for more than ten days.

The paper in his hand had already been wet by the rain, and the handwriting was completely blurred.

He no longer cares, the most precious 'thing' inside has been obtained.

In his Dantian, a seed containing wonderful power was quietly planted.
