Chapter 309 The Holy Land of Ten Thousand Buddhas?

Even if you find it, you may not regard this Buddha statue as an entrance to another place. There is a high probability that you will only regard this Buddha statue as an object of protection.

Then it will be cleaned up and used as a tourist attraction, and tickets will be collected.

Generally speaking, it is not an easy task to develop a tomb.

Before taking action, various protective measures must be taken. If not done well, a large amount of air may enter the confined space at once.

Then some antiques stored inside will be quickly oxidized and eventually lose their original value.

But this kind of thing is not something we need to consider in our line of work.

We quickly passed through the passage of the Buddha statue and entered another opening. This opening was much wider than the previous entrance to the Buddha statue.

This is a corridor, with bricks piled up to form an arch shape, and it is very well built.

And there is only some dust on the ground, but other than that, there is nothing else.

The tomb passage is relatively spacious and does not give people a strong sense of oppression.

At this time we are at a depth of twenty-seven meters underground. If nothing else happens, the location we are walking now may be under the Minjiang River.

There is a river above our heads, which is a bit surprising when you think about it.

After walking forward for about a hundred or ten meters, some murals appeared on the walls. I looked closely and found that all the murals were various Buddha statues.

These Buddha statues are brightly colored and well preserved.

And the postures are different, and the expressions presented are all vivid.

I have also seen some relevant information and know that there are many carved Buddha statues in places like Mogao Grottoes.

But the brightly colored Buddha statues here at this time should be from the Sui and Tang Dynasties, judging from the composition of the portraits of the Buddha statues.

At that time, society was more open and the use of colors was bolder.

The discovery of these Buddha statues would definitely be valuable if this wall could be removed. However, it is basically impossible to remove this wall.

Going further, I saw some carvings, which were also displayed on the walls. The carvings were also very wonderful.

The workmanship is meticulous and the expression is on point.

This is the corridor of Buddha statues.

The appearance of so many statues is probably one of the reasons why Grandpa Xiao Miao called this place the Holy Land of Ten Thousand Buddhas.

Xiao Miao also looked at it very carefully. After waiting for a while, she said: "Chen Zhuo, did you see any signs?"

"No, I can only say that the Buddha statues here are very exquisite, and there are no big discoveries. But if you want to find those things, we should speed up to avoid being caught first."

What the Xiao family is looking for may be the skeleton and body of a Buddha.

To put it bluntly, it doesn't matter whether it exists or not.

But one thing is definitely there.

That is the Buddha bone relic. Generally speaking, after the body of the eminent monk is cremated, the Buddha bone relic will be formed.

People who believe in this will say it is relics, and people who don’t believe it will say that these eminent monks have gallstones formed by being vegetarians for decades.

Some things exist if you believe them, and if you don't believe them, they don't exist.

So whether you believe it or not, it all depends on the individual.

As we walked through this corridor, we saw a light appearing in front of us.

Suddenly I became a little nervous.

I thought about it briefly and said, "It should be Fat Brother and the others in front."

I skillfully called Fat Brother, and Xiao Miao said to me: "Chen Zhuo, you and Jiang Yuelang look very familiar."

"No, no, after all, there are many friends and many paths, right?" I smiled awkwardly.

After exiting this corridor, we quickly entered the tomb. This tomb was more exaggerated than I imagined. I originally thought that this tomb was just like an ordinary tomb, but after arriving, I suddenly understood what it meant.

Holy Land of Ten Thousand Buddhas.

What is miraculous craftsmanship?

There are huge Buddha statues everywhere, and even the pattern above the head shows a Buddha statue meditating.

Under the illumination of the light, this Buddha statue closes its eyes, giving people a very quiet feeling.

Moreover, this tomb was at least three to five hundred square meters, which simply shocked everyone.

"Sister Xiao, you are finally here. I have been waiting for you for a long time."

Jiang Yuelang came to Xiao Miao's side shamelessly with a smile on his face.

Xiao Miao rolled her eyes at Jiang Yuelang, and then said, "Come in first, do you find anything?"

Jiang Yuelang said: "Don't worry, Sister Xiao, before you come in, my people will never do anything casually, but some people don't know it and have already started searching here."

After he finished speaking, he seemed to be on guard against me and began to speak a few words into Xiao Miao's ear.

After hearing this, Xiao Miao's complexion changed slightly and returned to normal immediately.

I actually didn't pay much attention to what they whispered. Besides, I wasn't very interested.

Zhang Qing said to me now: "Master Zhuo, I think these Buddha statues are a little weird and a little scary."

His words made me a little surprised, scary?

Are the Buddha statues here scary?

These are all carved according to Buddhist masters, such as the Eighteen Arhats, various Manjushri Bodhisattvas and other Avalokitesvara Bodhisattvas...

There is even Tang Sanzang.

Coming here is simply a holy land of Buddhism. How could it be associated with being scary?

"Zhang Qing, you have been a monk for several years before. Even if you are fake, you face Buddha statues all day long. Why do you feel a little scared?"

I suddenly said curiously.

Zhang Qing and his group had been working as fake monks for three years in order to dig out the tomb under the temple.

Now he said that these monks are actually a bit scary, which makes me a little confused.

Zhang Qing did not delay and said quickly: "Master Zhuo, it's because I pretended to be a monk for three years that I feel that the Buddha statues here are a bit weird and don't feel very decent."

"upright?"

I asked.

"Tell me about it." I wanted Zhang Qing to elaborate.

Zhang Qing suddenly touched his head, smiled naively, and said: "Master Xiao Zhuo, if you ask me to say it, I can't say anything. I just rely on my personal feelings."

I looked at his naive look and knew he had nothing to say.

Without asking any more questions, I came to a statue at this time. This was a sleeping arhat, about two or three meters tall. It was huge and gave people a rather spectacular impression.

My eyes fell on the sleeping arhat's face, and the huge earlobes were particularly attractive.

Apart from that, there was a faint smile on his face.

It's just this faint smile that makes people feel a little weird after looking at it for a long time, not so normal.

And there seems to be no coffin for burial here...
