Chapter 50: The Dharma Door Has No Competitiveness

When Su Cheng returned to Ning'an Hall, Ning'an Hall was in a lively time.

The old lady of the Shen family was holding tea and laughing. Taoist Baiyun and Master Fazhi in the hall were refuting each other, while Miao Shan sat on the side, and was fascinated by the hearing. When she saw Su Cheng and Ding Dequan coming in, she stopped for a moment.

"Ding Dequan, why did you change your clothes?"

When the old lady of the Shen family saw Ding Dequan, she saw his clothes changing, put down the tea bowl and asked calmly.

"Reply to the old lady."

Ding Dequan quickly saluted and said, "It was when the young man was in the thatched cottage. He didn't dare to hit the old lady, so he changed his clothes." In the Shen family, many things could not be hidden from the old lady. If he was determined to hide them, he would also add some truth to the lies.

The old lady looked at Ding Dequan and then held the tea bowl and said dissatisfiedly: "Even so, I should call someone else to send the distinguished guest back. How can I ask the distinguished guest to accompany you to change your clothes?"

Ding Dequan said nothing.

"Forget it, forgot."

Seeing Ding Dequan like this, the old lady knew that the family rules were too strict. These servants looked back and forth and made up this matter. She put the tea bowl in her hand heavily and said, "These servants are all used to playing tricks... You go back!"

When Ding Dequan heard this, he knew that the old lady had let him go, so he hurriedly withdrew from the Ning'an Hall.

"Don't make jokes with distinguished guests."

The old lady looked at Su Cheng and said, "These servants have not been doing well every day, they have been trying to figure out your heart all day long, and they have different ways to praise you. Among the ten sentences, it would be good to have a truth. However, when you make money, there are really many methods. If you catch the big ones and the small ones, you can't throw them away. If you are a little strict with them, they will arrange you in different ways..." Speaking of these, the old lady sighed and said, "I live like a opera, and everyone is playing me. I can't say a lot of bitter words."

Su Cheng smiled and said, "He didn't say anything to me."

The old lady nodded, then looked at Taoist Baiyun and Master Fazhi next to her, and said, "Where are we talking about just now?"

Master Fazhi nodded slightly and said, "These three realms are like fire houses. All sentient beings live in dire straits, but they do not know the wonderful method of liberation. Seeing this, my Buddha made all kinds of temptations with compassion, intending to lure people out of the fire house..."

Miaoshan was close to Sucheng. When he saw Sucheng coming back, he approached Sucheng and said all the words of Taoist Master Baiyun and Master Fazhi.

"Master Baiyun is a Taoist priest from Yuqing Temple. He said just now that he was practicing the method of expounding the teachings. When dealing with ghosts, he was to arrest the soul and condemn the generals. He used this to capture the spirit and form of the ghosts and ghosts. Master Fazhi is a great master of Fayuan Temple. They believed in Bodhisattvas and said that in the underworld, there was a Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva with great supernatural powers. They talked about salvation. By reciting scriptures, they persuaded ghosts to do good, so that they could escape the suffering of ghosts' invasion."

Miaoshan's voice was heard, and he said all the words of this monk and Taoist when Su Cheng was not around.

Su Cheng nodded, looked at the monk and Taoist, thought about it, and asked Miaoshan: "Which side does it feel more comfortable to listen to them?"

Miaoshan looked at the monks and Taoists, saw that they were not paying attention to this place, and whispered: "To me, what Master Fazhi said is all about admonishing good deeds, and what Master Baiyun said is, this heavenly way of life is too cruel."

Su Cheng knew in his heart that if Miaoshan was allowed to choose, Miaoshan would definitely have the one who had chosen.

Western religion grasps Miaoshan's kindness, so it guides step by step, allowing Miaoshan to move step by step in the direction of doing good. As we walk, we become Guanyin Bodhisattva.

The old lady of the Shen family listened to the words of a monk and said, "This Western teaching people to be good and to purify their original minds are all excellent methods, but people like me are all interested in their minds, and it is probably difficult to achieve the right result in this life."

Su Cheng has been listening to the monk and Taoist teachings by his side. At this time, he listened to the old lady's words and recognized it in his heart. Practice means having a transcendental heart, abandoning fame, wealth, and practicing wholeheartedly, in order to achieve something in this path.

"otherwise."

Monk Fazhi shook his head and said, "In my Buddha's opinion, our Bodhisattvas and merchants are the same. Merchants are engaged in the economy and should check the path, mistakes, interests, dangers, things that can be done, things that cannot be done. Only by raising them with wisdom can we avoid suffering. The same is true for our Bodhisattvas. She knows all obstacles and responses in the world, and knows how to make herself pure and uninterrupted, and knows how to enter the Buddha's realm. Therefore, she can lead sentient beings through the wilderness of life and death and difficulties and obstacles, so that sentient beings can cross the other shore and become Buddhas themselves."

When Miaoshan heard the words of Fazhi, his eyes were profound and thoughts were profound.

"In other words, if I use my family wealth to do good deeds, I can become a Bodhisattva."

When the old lady of the Shen family heard this, she said, "This is a convenient method."

"In fact, there is also a method in our Xuanmen."

Taoist Baiyun looked at the old lady of the Shen family and said, "In life, eating grains and cereals makes people feel depressed in the colon, thus becoming foul air, which hinders the path to becoming an immortal. Therefore, if we want to become an immortal, we should start with food. As the saying goes, carnivores are brave and fierce, grains are wise and clever, qi eaters are wise and clever, and elixirs are wise and lively, and those who eat elixirs are immortal and immortal. If the old lady wants to transcend the world, she can open a elixir furnace at home and refine elixirs. As long as she takes the elixir, she can live forever and become an immortal."

Taoist Baiyun also told the old lady of the Shen family how to get tricks.

"Refining elixirs and taking medicine, you will become an immortal."

When the old lady of the Shen family heard this, she fell into deep thought again. After a moment of silence, she looked at Miaoshan and asked, "Fairy Miaoshan, in your opinion, which of these two paths is better?"

Miaoshan's eyes wandered between Monk Fazhi and Taoist Baiyun, and she couldn't tell the idea in her mind.

"Our Western teachings have achieved the Bodhisattva method, and there are many precedents of Bodhisattvas."

"There are also many examples of me taking pills to become immortals in my Xuanmen."

Monk Fazhi and Taoist Baiyun argued with each other, and they believed in the path they were talking about.

Miaoshan looked at Sucheng with help.

“…”

Su Cheng frowned and thought. Su Cheng had no doubts about the Western religion's method of achieving Bodhisattvas. Su Cheng would not doubt even the precedent of Xuanmen's pills becoming immortals. However, these two paths were suddenly put out, and Miaoshan wanted to distinguish between the superiority and inferiority. If Miaoshan really made her choice, then Miaoshan would inevitably choose the Western religion.

Because she is kind-hearted, the Bodhisattva path mentioned in Western religion is the path to encourage goodness.

"This kind of argument cannot be distinguished for a while."

Su Cheng laughed and interrupted, saying, "The truth is right and wrong. If we draw circles and squares with rules, and place them there, and let people see them, no one will deny that the square is round and round, because all this is clear at a glance. The debate between Xuanmen and Western religions is like the length and shortness between rulers, the light and heavy between weights, and the measurement methods are also different because these two teaching rules are different. If we use one teaching rule to measure the other teaching, it is like using the ruler of Jin to measure the scale of Chu. The two must immediately conflict, so there is no need to compete with each other."

"How to choose and use this ruler weight depends on yourself, and the old lady doesn't have to ask Miaoshan."

Su Cheng said for Miaoshan.

If it weren't for the cover for Ding Dequan, Su Cheng wouldn't bother to say these words to the old lady.

“It makes sense, it makes sense.”
