Chapter seventy-four

The Zhou Mansion is one of the most wealthy families in Wujun.

The backyard is excavated with a pool and rockery, and a lake corridor. The overall layout is compact and elegant.

Master Zhou invited Su Cheng and Miao Shan to sit down. On the other side, the servants at the house brought pastries, green dates, pears, dried tofu, sugar cubes, and tea to entertain Su Cheng Miao Shan and the fat Taoist priest.

Su Cheng handed Miaoshan some green dates and dried tofu, but before he could get it, the fat Taoist priest had already brought all the plates in front of him, reached out to grab a handful of dates, and after chewing them for two bites, he threw the dates all over the floor.

"Hey, you Taoist."

Seeing this, Su Cheng shouted to the fat Taoist priest: "If you are angry, you will be angry. What does green dates have to do with you? As for throwing all the green dates all over the ground?"

"These dates are not delicious!"

The fat Taoist priest reached out and grabbed a pear. After chewing it, he vomited it directly and said, "The pears here are not delicious either."

The housekeeper of Zhou's mansion was always serving him. When he saw the fat Taoist priest throwing the pears and dates all over the floor, he said that they were not delicious, so he felt his face lost and shouted: "What do you, Taoist priest, know? The pears and dates here are picked from the temple thirty miles south of Wujun. Ordinary people can't taste them even if they want to eat them."

Miaoshan handed Su Cheng a date.

Su Cheng saw that the green dates were long and very round. He chewed them at the green dates and felt that the date meat was as sweet as snow.

"Forget it."

Master Zhou waved his hand and asked the servants to remove the fruit plate and clean up the dates and pears on the ground.

After tidying up here for a while, the food from Zhou's mansion was already delivered.

Braised pig heads, stewed pork feet, stir-fried pork liver, stewed pork lungs, and even roasted carp and fried roosters. The plates were full of meat. After the tabletop, Su Cheng had not yet moved his chopsticks, and the fat Taoist priest had already eaten it.

A few stewed pig's feet fell into his mouth. Su Cheng didn't know what happened, and his bones were spit on the ground. The braised pig's head was easily split by him. Then he stuffed it into his mouth a few times, and a pig's head disappeared like this.

Su Cheng then realized that the Fat Taoist priest was really a strange person. Even the big eater who ate and drank in later generations could not compare with the food broadcast. The food broadcast was fake. However, Su Cheng could clearly see the fat Taoist priest's food and drink and swallow it completely.

Mr. Zhou was also beside him. Seeing the fat Taoist priests being able to eat and drink, he was shocked. However, seeing that the things on the table were almost finished, he quickly ordered the chef to ask them to make another table.

"Master of Taoism."

Su Cheng tilted his head and looked at the fat Taoist priest's belly, and asked in surprise: "Where have you eaten this thing?"

The fat Taoist priest laughed, and there were still flesh in his mouth, and patted his stomach hard.

Are they all in the stomach?

Su Cheng looked at the fat Taoist priest's belly in surprise, and as he held the wine jar, his throat almost stopped moving. A jar of wine was poured into his mouth like this, while his belly was still the same as before.

"Ahhhhhhhhhh..."

The fat Taoist priest threw the wine jar aside, and lay on the ground, shouting: "I've eaten and drunk enough. These things will melt in my stomach for a while. Master Zhou, Mr. Zhou, you see that your family's things have reached my stomach. Can my stomach melt these things?"

Mr. Zhou stood up and came to support the fat Taoist priest, saying, "The things can naturally be melted."

"It's hard...it's hard..."

The fat Taoist priest shook his head, raised his foot and kicked Su Cheng's chair, and ordered: "After I fall asleep, they will throw me out. You must protect me, do you know?"

Su Cheng kept frowning and thinking. Now that he saw the fat Taoist priest kicking his chair, he stood up and looked at the fat Taoist priest and asked, "Can your belly melt into a person?"

Su Cheng was not asking random questions. Just now when the fat Taoist priest asked Mr. Zhou, he said his stomach several times and melted away such words, which made Su Cheng hear several "dissolve". He also thought of the strange food and drinks of the fat Taoist priest before, so he asked this question.

Could it be that I really misunderstood? Is this really a god?

"Hahahahahahahahahahaha...you, you, wonderful..."

The fat Taoist priest sat on the ground, slapped the ground repeatedly, pointed at Su Cheng, and kept laughing out loud. As he smiled like this, he collapsed on the ground and fell asleep.

"Please carry him down."

Master Zhou instructed the servants to carry the fat Taoist priest away.

"Where is he sleeping?"

The servants asked Mr. Zhou.

“Of course it’s a guest room.”

Mr. Zhou said for granted.

"Mr. Zhou."

Su Cheng stood up and said to Mr. Zhou: "He has been fighting to get into the room. There must be a reason. You might as well give up your room and let him sleep in it all night. How about it?"

Su Cheng guessed in his heart that this fat Taoist priest was a strange man, but there was no evidence. However, facing such a person, it was right not to fight for a moment.

Mr. Zhou looked at Su Cheng, then looked at the fat Taoist priest, frowned and said, "I promised him before, but it was just a temporary measure. I didn't plan to let him live. Now he is asleep, so there is no need to worry about it."

Su Cheng looked at the fat Taoist priest on the ground, then looked at Master Zhou, and knew that as Master Zhou said, it was just a human nature. After all, the place where the head of the family lives was easily unwilling to let the guests live, let alone such a sloppy Taoist priest.

Su Cheng picked up the wine glass, took a sip of wine, looked at Mr. Zhou, and said, "Mr. Zhou, I want to stay in your room tonight."

"Brother Su?"

Miaoshan was eating vegetarian food all the time. When she heard Su Cheng suddenly say this, she hurriedly swallowed the food in her mouth and walked to Su Cheng.

"Don't persuade me!"

Su Cheng sat on the chair and said, "If you don't let me live in the room, I'll make trouble."

Wujun is hundreds of miles away from Daxiang Mountain, so it doesn’t matter whether Sucheng is shameless. Anyway, Wujun has no one he likes.

Facing Mr. Zhou, Su Cheng was just a gentleman who deceived him.

Mr. Zhou was helpless when he saw Su Cheng playing like a scoundrel. He had no money hidden in the bedroom where he slept, so why did everyone want to go in and sleep?

However, Su Cheng reached out to take the teapot, but there was no injury on his hand. He was obviously a strange man.

Faced with such a strange person, Mr. Zhou was really unwilling to waste it, so he took his wife to the study room and gave the main room to Su Cheng for only one night. As for Miaoshan, he naturally lived in the guest room, and the fat monk was arranged by his servants to go to the wing room where the miscellaneous items were placed.

Dressing mirror, nanmu bed, table, chair, bench, screen candle.

Su Cheng walked around Master Zhou's bedroom twice, but he never noticed that there was anything special in Master Zhou's bedroom. Even if he looked at it on the ground, it didn't look like there was a place where silver was buried. After wandering around like this, Su Cheng simply lay on Master Zhou's bed, feeling a little embarrassed.

"Maybe I was fooled?"
