Chapter 32 The Secrets of Mithraism

A deep cave!

The entrance of the cave is only about two meters high and two meters wide, but it is much wider when you walk in.

It is about one zhang high and two zhang wide. The most outrageous thing is the depth, at least five zhang!

On the walls of the holes on both sides, there is an oil lamp every about ten feet. There is obviously oil in the lamp, which exudes the scent of tinea oil extracted from the oil trees produced in Mount Elbool!

The men of Serrasan II lit up all about twelve oil lamps, and the scenes in the cave all came into view:

The first thing I saw was a rectangular stone table that seemed to be fixed on the ground. The stone table extends from near the entrance of the cave to the innermost part. The stone table is about one meter wide, and there are stone bowls, stone trays, stone pots and other objects on it.

Then there is the eye-catching mural on the innermost stone wall.

A Persian man about ten feet tall and full of muscles bent over, and behind him was a dome with stars dots on the dome, like a picture of a starry sky.

In front of him was a huge Taurus. The Taurus was half kneeling on the ground, with tears in his eyes. Blood flowed out of its body, and the image was lifelike, and the blood seemed to be flowing out.

The strong man had a knife that Janis had seen before!

A fire knife that only those with high status in the Zoroastrian religion can own!

Janis has roughly heard of this story. This person is Mitra. The starry sky behind him is the zodiac. He killed Taurus in a cave to create a new era, which means that Taurus is over and Aries begins.

After Taurus died, everything on earth grew from it, while Mithra was buried deep in the cave until the next reincarnation began (the resurrection of Christianity was probably inspired from here).

The cave faces east, where the sun rises, and the entrance of the cave is a place where light and darkness are interspersed. The stone tables are covered with stone benches, with twelve on each side, which adds up to twenty-four.

The twelve disciples of Jesus probably also began here.

In the innermost part of the cave, there was a sound of water drops in the dark side of the striking mural, and Janis walked over.

I saw water drops falling from time to time on the cave wall, and below was a rectangular sink. The sink was filled with water, and the excess water flowed out from the entrance of the cave through a small ditch close to the cave wall and the ground. Because it was deserted outside, the trickle disappeared without much flowing.

"This is the place where our Mitras are baptized, given names, held funerals, and discussed major events. The Mitras only recruit males. Once recruited, they will be soldiers in the church for life. The believers start here and end here."

Yanis did not agree.

Although the cave was hidden and stunning, it did not touch him. When he was in Dobasidan, he also heard about the cave of Mitras. Although he had never been to it, the deeds about the cave had spread in Dobasidan.

He noticed that when he introduced the cave, Serrasan II, did not mention that the cave had the effect of hiding and saving lives when the believers were facing desperate situations. Perhaps they had been in peace with the secular regime for a long time, and the role of the Yamaguchi military fort made the cave's role not obvious.

He led himself here. Looking back now, before coming to this mountain, he had traveled through many similar mountains in the middle, and he had traveled back and forth. Without anyone leading him, it was completely impossible to get here alone.

And he spent so much effort to make himself, a non-Mitra cult, see the legendary cave for the first time in his life, obviously not as simple as intentional flaunting.

Although he lit up twelve oil lamps, the cave was still very dark. He was wearing a black robe. The 20-year-old Serasan II seemed to have a look of hesitation on his face.

After a while, he seemed to have made up a lot of determination. He came to the stone bench in the middle of the right side of the stone table. After moving the stone bench hard, a hole suddenly appeared on the ground with a rumble sound!

"Like the underground water well in Zoro Temple"

Serasan's Persian is quite different from others, and they are obviously tenaciously guarding some ancient tradition, but Janis can still understand it.

"There is another cave below. It is the real place to hide. There are five caves in the space. Everyone in Fort Delma will not be crowded even if they move in."

"There are food, water, firewood, etc. stored inside, and you can stay inside for a month without going outside."

"Dermadrich founded the Bincao in Delma Fort, but later he moved to Lai City. In the first five hundred years, the entire Persian region was the world of Mithra. However, with the emergence of Zoroasted, the Bincao gradually lost its original status and could only preach secretly in the cave."

"I experienced countless wars during this period. I have come into contact with people from the Tang Dynasty. According to their statement, the people in my religion seem to be somewhat similar to the Mohist schools in China. They are skilled in construction and military affairs. They are valued during the war and have gained the power to guard the mountain pass."

"So, since then, I have taken root in the cave and the mountain pass, and until now..."

Hearing this, Janis suddenly remembered something, "According to the old people in his country and the description of Persian history by the Thunder Leaf Army, Persian history has been successively occupied by the Parthians, Macedonians, and the great cannibals. The wars mentioned by Serras II are probably the things that are the things. Perhaps it was because the Mithraites made contributions in the war, so they had the opportunity to station in the mountain pass."

"But dynasties in history will not allow their only intersection, and will build military forts on both sides of their military forts, such as Garland Fort north of Delma Fort. In fact, until now, the status of these military forts is much worse than before."

"By the way, they have been suppressed by the Zoroastrians for a long time, and the number of people has been small. After the cannibals came in, they temporarily allowed their existence in order to suppress the Zoroastrians. They also believe in the dualism of light and darkness, and they must have been looking for their own messengers of light in the dark."

"They naturally knew the identity of the Great King Zoroastrian's Light Envoy. Now they asked me to watch the cave, and they obviously regarded our country as a potential messenger of light. Of course, they regarded the Great King as a messenger of light. However, what is the purpose of this? Even if the cave can be connected to the foot of the mountain, it really does not play a big role."

"Do they just use the open cave to make our country feel completely relieved? It's so vain"

As if seeing the expression of Janis, Serasan said: "I led the envoy here not because there is any secret here, but because I was entrusted by my father and had a major event that I had to tell the envoy completely. My father wanted to guard the Fort Delma, and he could not leave for a moment, so he had to let me do it for him."

"Because according to the teachings, when confide in the great things to those outside the church, one must be under Mitra and Taurus..."

Looking at the dark hole below, Janis seemed to have thought of something, "Wait," he interrupted Serasan II, "Let me guess, is it related to Bingbosilin?"

Serrasan II looked surprised, "How did you know?"

Yanis said calmly: "The wealth of Bingbosilin has been spread throughout the Persian region for a long time, especially after his death, and with the power of today's Harimansour and Gazelvar, how can there be a big castle in the Greater Khorasan region not be overwhelmed?"

"Everyone says that the largest portion of the treasure is hidden in Lai City, and the most likely is the building of the former huge Zoro Temple, which was later converted into a Grand Food Temple. The Zoro Temple was transformed by Bingbo Silin himself. Now, when you think about it, this must be Bingbo Silin's trick."

"The saying of the Guijiao Cave has probably been discovered by Bingbosilin for a long time. Since the Guijiao Cave was located in Lai City before, the cave on the mountains near Lai City is the largest, and the Damawande Mountain near Lai City is the highest peak in the entire Elbrs Mountains, covered with snow all year round, and there is a crater in the middle."

"Such a place is naturally a holy place for Zoroastrianism or the noble religion that worships flames. I heard that Zoroastrianism had built altars near the crater before. Since there were roads to go up the mountain, most of them also had caves. With the ability of the noble religion and hundreds of years of hard work, most of them had already built huge mountain buildings there."

"And the biggest treasure of Bingbo Silin is hidden there!"

When Serrasan II heard this, he sighed.

"Although the messenger is a Christian, he is extremely intelligent. Not bad. Before he converted to the Great Food Church, Bingbo Silin was a Mitra! He was still a hereditary military leader in Lai City. However, when his grandfather's generation, the Yamaguchi Castle near Lai City had been destroyed, and all the Mitras inside became slaves to the Great Food Church."

"According to the generation of Bingbo Silin, the military fortress at the Yamaguchi Pass had long been a thing of the past, but Bingbo Silin's ancestors obviously told him the secret of the cave. So when he held the power of the entire Persian region, he began to launch the battles in Persia with his soldiers, and the targets were the nobles who were dressed in white and fed."

"Every time he captures a city, he will naturally confiscate huge wealth, and then transport the slaves to the city of Lai, and then secretly ask the slaves to build a road to the cave of Mount Damawande. When the wealth is transferred there, he will kill all the slaves involved, including Zoroastrians and Christians, but no Mithras."

Yanis seemed to have caught something, "So, Bosslin appeared to be a devout master, but he did not forget his original identity as a Mithra?"

"Yes, when he set out from Mulu City to Damascus, he had secretly met his father, and he told us this secret at that time."

"Why tell me?"

"Oh, although I, Mithra believers, have more than 10,000, but it is difficult to put them together. Now that I have the wealth of Bingbosilin, I can barely achieve it. However, once this matter is known by Mahamo of Karati or Javidan of Semnan, I will definitely come and fight for it. At that time, my church will definitely lose both people and money."

"In this world, only your country has both strength and credibility."

"Tell me, what are the conditions?"

"Emporter, that is the wealth of the entire Persia. Although it has been spent a lot, I believe there are still many. According to Bingbosilin, there are at least five million dinar gold coins in it!"

Yanis felt aroused in his heart and thought to himself: "The dinar gold coins of the great cannibal are still very valuable. One is the same as the gold coins in our country. It weighs about one qian, roughly one liang of silver, and five million dinar gold coins are five million taels! That is five million jin!"

"Most of all, Bingbo Silin reminiscent of the money he plundered into gold coins, and naturally they were all in full!"

Serasan continued: "I only take two million, and the remaining three million belong to your country!"

"No, this matter is too risky, our country will take four million!"

"......, it's better to do this. Both sides make concessions. Your country has 3.5 million, but we only take 1.5 million."
