Chapter 2 The Anderson Family's Past
No one moved, everyone was frozen in place for at least half an hour... Well, it was actually only about ten seconds.
Albert bent down and picked up the yellow envelope. It was a letter without stamps. It was written in emerald green ink and he read it softly:
Tibe Avenue, 19, at the door, Mr. Albert Anderson received it.
When Albert read this passage, he found that he had triggered a task:
The Wizard's Road.
You have the potential to be a wizard, but you are not qualified yet, and now you have a valuable opportunity to go to Hogwarts School of Magic and become a student.
Reward 10,000 experience, 2 skill points, and wizard bloodline 1.
Wizard's bloodline?
Albert was stunned.
What the hell is this?
The 2 skill points are very attractive. You should know that it is only 1 point to become a student at Eton. Albert has only only 3 skill points to be obtained for so many years, and he is reluctant to use it.
However, what is even more frustrating is that this place is actually the world of novels.
The magical world in the story of Harry Potter?
Albert flipped the envelope and saw Hogwarts's shield heraldry, with capital letters "H" on it, surrounded by a lion, an eagle, a badger and a snake.
"Mom, do owls train owls to be postman now in the zoo?" Niya stared at the owl who was staying nearby curiously.
"Nia, I think no one will deliver letters with owls. At least normal people won't. Maybe, this is just a prank." Daisy looked at her husband, saw Herb's cursed brow, and asked, "What's wrong, my dear, is it time for me to go out?"
"Nothing, Albert, give me the letter." Herbert whispered.
"Oh, give it." Albert gave the envelope to his father.
"Dear!" Daisy was a little unhappy.
Herb didn't notice the displeasure on his wife's face, so he quickly opened the envelope, took out the parchment inside and glanced at it, and said, "Children, it seems that our plan is going to be postponed."
"Dear Herber, what happened? What was the content in the letter?" Daisy felt that her husband was a little abnormal and her tone couldn't help but increase.
"Dad, what is written in the letter?" Niya couldn't help asking, but Albert, who received the letter, did not react much.
"Let's go back to the living room, Daisy." Herb closed the car door heavily and took his family back to the living room.
After the door of the entrance was closed, the owl who was delivering the letter still did not leave.
"Dear Herber, you'd better give me a proper explanation." Daisy looked angry. She couldn't wait to see her son wearing Eton school uniform.
"Dad, what is the content in the letter? Read it out for everyone. I also want to know who can predict where I appeared." Albert's face did not have too much emotional fluctuations. Of course, he knew what the letter was going on. If he had not experienced time travel and panel events, he might have a shocked expression after seeing the letter.
But the first two shocks made a foundation and found that he lived in a world of novels. It didn’t seem too strange to think about it. What’s more, he had read the best-selling book of Harry Potter and had also written a fan.
At that time, I had looked up a lot of information and still had some understanding of the world view of this novel.
"Then I'll read it." Herb looked at his son, who was calm as usual, and read out the contents on the parchment:
Principal of Hogwarts Magic School: Albus Dumbledore (President of the International Magic Federation, President of the Wizards Association, and First-level Magician of the Sir Merlin)
"Hogwarts...school!" Daisy's eyes widened in surprise, because she had guessed what this was...a admission notice?
"Magic, is there really magic in this world?" Niya's face was filled with excitement, "I also want to learn magic and want to go to a magic school."
"Hate Albert, let me go!" Niya looked at her brother with dissatisfaction. She was about to come over to read the letter, but Albert was stopped.
"Nia, let Dad finish his faith." Albert signaled his father to continue reading the faith, and then pulled his angry mother to sit down.
"Son, I will never let you go to Hogg..." Daisy was very angry, thinking that her husband might know something.
Herb coughed lightly and continued to recite:
Dear Mr. Anderson:
We happily inform you that you have been allowed to attend Hogwarts Magic School. A list of required books and equipment is included with the letter.
The semester is scheduled to begin on September 1st. We will wait for your owl by July 21st.
Vice President (female) Minerva McGregor.
Herb finished his faith and handed the letter to his son.
Albert glanced at it and handed it to his curious sister, while Niya ran to her mother Daisy with the letter.
Daisy studied the contents of the letter one by one and said word by word:
"I definitely don't agree to let Albert go to such a school. No, it must be someone who is playing with us. Maybe we should call the police immediately and catch the annoying trickster."
"Mom, do you ask us to write a reply to the owl above the letter?" Niya suddenly said.
Daisy didn't say anything, but stared at her husband with an oppressive look.
Albert asked, "Dad, do you know something?"
"It's not true." Herb reached over his head, seemingly falling into a brief memory: "At about the same age as you, my father, your grandfather, was disappointed that I was not able to receive a letter from Hogwarts."
"I asked my father what Hogwarts was, and he only said it was a school."
"Later, my father got drunk one time, and I asked why I wanted me to go to Hogwarts."
"He only said he was a squin, but I don't know what the word means." Herb's tone was very low. He still remembered that time when his father cried.
"I think now I know where Hogwarts is. My father would be happy that his grandson received a letter from Hogwarts."
Of course Albert knew what the squib meant, but he didn't really think that he had something to do with the wizard.
By the way, there are no similar skills in his skill bar, otherwise he would have noticed them long ago.
"Yes, I should write to him, no, call him, he will definitely be very happy!" Herb said suddenly, as if he was going to call his father.
"Herb Anderson!" Daisy shouted, "Albert should go to Eton. He will achieve what we cannot imagine, rather than going to a school that we have never heard of. Do you know? It is related to his future, and I will definitely not allow you..."
"Mom, we are not sure whether magic exists." Albert reached out and grabbed his mother who was about to run away and comforted her softly: "Didn't the letter say that you are waiting for your owl? Maybe, we should write a letter to the other party and let someone from the Hogwarts school prove whether there is magic. If it cannot be proved, it means that it is a scam."
"Well, son, I agree with you, let the damn school prove the authenticity of the letter." Daisy clenched her fists and waved it hard, "Wait and see, I must call the police to catch the liars and let them squat in prison for a few years."
