Chapter 54 Astronomy Lesson
The Astronomical Tower is the tallest tower in Hogwarts, and the astronomical class is held on the top of this tower.
Having said that, astronomical classes are a rather bizarre type. There is no unified book in this class. Students only need to carry telescopes, quill pens and parchment in class.
This astronomical tower is really high, and the group who went to the top of the astronomical tower to take classes had a deep understanding.
Everyone was climbing up the stairs that were rotating upwards, and they didn't know how many floors they went. Everyone felt inexplicably dizzy and their breathing became a little rapid due to the movement.
"Which layer is it?" Alia asked gasping.
"The eighth floor." George raised his hand and pointed to a portrait of a drunken knight beside him, and introduced to everyone with a smile, "Last time, when Fred and I came, I saw this guy fall into the river after getting drunk and almost drowned."
"How could the characters in the portrait be drowned?" Angelina couldn't help but complain.
"Who said no? Look carefully!" Fred blinked at everyone mischievously, and his hands were combined into a trumpet suit, shouting at the portrait of the drunken knight: "Ah!"
Then, the drunken knight in the portrait seemed to be startled by this shout, suddenly became panicked, began to run randomly, and finally fell into a river next to the portrait.
The drunk knight slammed in the water twice and then sank into the river. The woman in the portrait next door quickly called for help and tried to fish him out of the river.
Everyone looked at this scene in amazement, and their mouths grew wide in surprise.
Soon, everyone had to speed up, because Fred's strange scream annoyed the paintings next to him, and they stared at Albert and his group in dissatisfaction.
"It's coming soon." George gasped. He didn't know how long they had walked, but they finally reached the top of the tower.
"It's really a long journey, and fortunately we have enough time." Albert glanced at his pocket watch, and class time was almost up.
"By the way, if it rains at night, it will not be available for this astronomical class." George suddenly rang out something, and the sky could not be seen when it rained.
"Who knows? I guess I will leave you a lot of homework!" Angelina reached out and pushed open the wooden door of the Astronomical Tower.
Professor Sinista is already waiting for everyone at the top of the tower, and she has just finished a class.
After nightfall, the wind was strong at the top of the astronomical tower, and everyone was huddling in the corner to chat. The students of Hufflepuff were not yet arrived, and they were almost late.
"I guess I'm lost." George was a little gloating and hoped that Professor Sinista would deduct points from Hufflepuff's students.
However, George is destined to be disappointed, and Cedric and other Hufflepuff students rushed to the top of the astronomical tower before class.
"It's really hard to find here, I'm almost late." Cedric Diggory was breathing rapidly, and he greeted the people here with a smile.
"Okay, come here, class is about to begin." Professor Sinista attracted all the freshmen, and there was an item covered with canvas next to her.
"I know you are very unfamiliar with astronomy knowledge. Astronomy teaches you this knowledge." She said, then pulled open the canvas next to her to reveal what was hidden underneath.
"This..." Albert saw something under the canvas, a small model of the solar system in a round glass cover.
The model of this solar system is very beautiful. The burning sun is in the middle, surrounded by nine planets and their satellites, all suspended in circular glass spheres, shining in their respective positions.
"This is the solar system, we live here." Professor Sinista pointed to the earth and continued, "Your semester's course is to learn how to use telescopes to observe the stars and find the specific locations of the nine planets in the starry sky above us."
Students from the wizard family were obviously unfamiliar with celestial bodies, and Albert was a little doubtful if they knew that the planet they lived in was called Earth.
Professor Sinista held a magic wand and pointed to the moving celestial bodies. He briefly introduced the movement of celestial bodies, their solar system and other simple astronomical knowledge, and asked him to teach you how to draw astrological maps and mark the names and positions of the nine planets in the astrological maps.
To Albert, it's nothing.
However, for others, it is difficult to remember for a while.
"Wrong, this position is Mars, not Jupiter." Albert helped correct Fred's mistake, and George next to him was not much better.
After everyone finished drawing the star map of the solar system, Professor Sinista began to teach everyone how to find the position of the planet they need in the galaxy above their heads.
The wizard's telescope is actually very effective, and it may be related to magic. The things you can see are clearer than the astronomical telescope of ordinary Muggles.
"Have you found the location of Mars?" Shanna narrowed her eyes and looked into Albert's barrel.
They don't know which one is Mars, and for a new student who has never used a telescope, it takes a lot of time to adjust the focal length itself.
"Not found." Albert was also quite helpless. In fact, he had already looked in the direction of Professor Sinista's finger, but it was not easy to find the most Mars in the sea of stars.
Professor Sinista, who was walking around, would accidentally look at the students' telescopes to correct some of their mistakes.
"If magic alone is the only one, can you really have the ability to go to the universe?" This strange thought suddenly arose in Albert's mind.
There should be no way!
After all, the number of wizards in the Harry Potter world is very rare, and the number of scattered means that there are also few geniuses...
Perhaps, the mysterious affairs department of the Ministry of Magic has researched on this aspect, but that is only a research after all...
After throwing away the thoughts in his head, Albert refocused himself on the telescope and began to use the telescope to admire the stars in the sky.
Before, he had hardly seen the stars in the sky?
Until the end of get out of class, Albert did not find the nine planets in the solar system, and he didn't care. What's more important in this class is to let everyone understand some of the astronomical knowledge and be familiar with how to use telescopes. Professor Sinista's homework is also very simple, which is to remember the approximate locations of the nine planets and their names.
"It's almost a curfew, go back quickly." Li Qiaodan reminded.
"I'm a little hungry and I'm going to go to the kitchen to get some food." Albert took out his pocket watch and looked at the time. There were still more than twenty minutes left, and time was enough.
"Wait, we'll go with you." The twins quickly handed their backpack to Li Qiaodan, "Don't worry, we'll remember to bring food back for you."
