Chapter 8 Grandfather
Two days later, the Andersons and his family took a bus to Charles Street, where Albert's grandfather and grandmother lived at No. 21 on Charles Street.
Anderson's family takes time to come back to visit the two elderly people every year. During the summer vacation, Albert always stays here for a few days.
"Dad, I'll come to see you."
"Ambert, come here and let me see!" Luke completely ignored his son and walked up to stare at his grandson. "Herb said, it's great that you have received a letter from Hogwarts. If you have anything you want to buy, you can tell me..."
"Dad, I've taken Albert to buy things in Diagon Alley in London." Herb looked at his father helplessly, cleared his voice and said, "I've brought you a gift."
"I'm not a child, what gifts do I want?" Luke looked up and glanced at his son, pulled Albert's little hand and said, "Go into the house and tell me what magic you have learned."
"Luke has been excited for several days, like a child." Sansa said to the Herbs, "He has never told me about this before. I only found out a few days ago. I haven't seen Niya for a long time. Do you miss me?"
"My brother doesn't let me touch his magic wand, and I always guard against me like a thief." Niya immediately reported to her grandmother.
"Herb, watch Tom, don't let it run around." Daisy picked up the package in the car and asked her husband to put it in the cat cage so that the guy would run away from the cage.
"Can Albert really turn magic?" Sansa found this very interesting, but she didn't expect that her grandson was actually the legendary wizard.
"Yes, he can make his wand shine, and he will practice secretly in the room every night." Niya held her grandmother's hand and scolded Albert, "He also said that if I took the wand, I would blow up the house.
"Mom, you don't know, that wand is really dangerous, I'll tell you..." Herb followed the two of them with a cat cage, talking about what he had seen in Diagon Alley.
"Albert thinks it is dangerous to try magic randomly." Daisy added that she had read the history of magic and knew some of the things that happened in the magic world. She still had some understanding of the magic world.
"Okay Daisy, things are not as bad as you think."
"No, mom, in fact, even in the wizarding world, children won't let their wands easily." Daisy stood completely on Albert's side, their son was very reliable.
"How do you know?" Herber asked curiously.
"If you finish reading all those books, you will know." Daisy looked at her husband with a blame, "Can you be more concerned about Albert's affairs? He is our baby son."
"Don't worry, Albert didn't need us to worry since he was a child." Herbert knew his son's character very well, and Albert had always been worry-free.
"Even so, you should be more careful." Daisy entered the door with the package and brought the door with her.
After Tom, who was locked up all the way, was released from the cat cage, he started running around. Sansa and Daisy went to the kitchen to prepare desserts and black tea, while Luke was listening to his son and grandson talking about Diagon Alley, and the two of them would complement each other.
Luke certainly knew that the wizard's portrait could move, and he also knew about Dumbledore.
He locked the chocolate frog that Herb brought into a large glass bottle and placed it as a decoration in the living room.
"I also wrote a letter to Dumbledore, asking why I didn't receive an invitation." Luke has felt relieved for so many years. "Because I had no spell casting ability, which is the so-called squib, I was sent away by my family when I was eleven and handed over to an ordinary distant relative to raise."
"How could they do this?" Herb was puzzled and angry. He felt that his father's family had done too much.
"The squin is a shame for a wizard's family," Luke whispered, "they will hide this secret as much as possible, and even pretend that there is no such person."
"Not sad, no sad." Niya comforted.
"After so many years, I have put down these things and completely cut off contact with the family over there." Luke picked up Nia and put it on his knees, and said with a smile, "However, Albert became a wizard was a bit unexpected. I had given up completely before Herb received the invitation."
During the chat, Albert showed them new magic, such as the luminous spell, the repair spell, the cleaning spell, and the lock-opening spell. These are the four magics he currently masters, thanks to the wizard bloodline that has been promoted to level 2.
Although I am not proficient in mastering it, it is quite surprising to see the cracked tea cup slowly repairing and the tea poured on the table being wiped dry without warning.
"I want it too." Niya looked at her grandfather coquettishly and complained in a low voice, "I want to learn magic too, Albert is too cunning."
Luke looked at his grandson and asked for his opinion. He knew that Albert had his own opinion and that he would not make decisions at will.
"You can only do it as I say." Albert looked at his sister. He was actually curious whether Niya had magical talent.
"I can, I promise." Niya nodded repeatedly like a chicken pecking at rice.
"I agreed so quickly, let's forget it. You're not listening to me at all." Albert said seriously at his sister.
"No, I'm listening carefully." Niya quickly retorted.
"Read with me first, the fluorescent light flashes."
"The fluorescent light flashed." Niya hurriedly recited, she knew it was a spell.
"Read it a few more times, and you can't read it wrong, otherwise no one will know what will happen." Albert instructed, "I will lend you the magic wand later. Don't poke it with the magic wand, don't point it at people, don't chant spells randomly, and you can't lose your temper even if you can't use magic."
"I understand." Niya said a little impatiently.
"What did I just say," Albert asked suddenly.
"Don't poke the wand, don't..." Niya forgot what she said, pouting and complaining, "I'm not you, how can I remember so many things."
"If you can't remember, I can't give you the wand." Albert said seriously.
"But...well, you're talking once." Niya compromised.
Seeing Albert eating Niya tightly, Anderson's family was laughing. As a child, he always liked to be naughty, and Niya's situation was similar.
However, Albert has a way to deal with her naughty mischief.
Only after Niya remembered his words did Albert give her his wand.
Niya took the wand excitedly, and then fell down honestly after being glared at by Albert. She obediently chanted the spell and tried to use the luminous spell. However, the spell did not succeed.
"Take a deep breath, concentrate, and try again." Albert reached out and put his hand on Niya's shoulder and said softly.
The Glowing Spell is one of the easiest spells, and if it is not available, it may well mean that Niya may not have the talent to become a wizard.
"Fluorescent flash." Niya tried several times, but none of them succeeded.
"You are anxious, don't worry. The more anxious you are, the easier it is to fail." Albert touched his sister's hair and turned his head to look at his grandfather.
Luke shook his head at him, Albert actually knew what this meant.
"Do I not have the talent to become a wizard?" Niya looked sad with a sad face.
"I don't know either." Albert comforted, "maybe, it's just because you're still young."
"Hate, Albert always likes to lie. I must not have the talent to become a wizard." Niya threw down her wand and ran away.
Albert picked up the wand with helpless look on his face, looked at the direction where Niya ran away, and was about to catch up.
Children are troublesome.
"I'll go find Niya." Luke stood up and walked towards his granddaughter. He understood Niya's current mood.
