Chapter 81: Three Eyes Will

"Don't worry about not having a position, but being able to stand; don't worry about not knowing it yourself, so you can know it."

We can see from Confucius's words that this is a frank dialogue that Confucius considered the future of his students.

In ancient times, teachers not only had the responsibility to educate students to become talents, but also shouldered the responsibility of teaching students to pursue careers and careers. As the saying goes: "A teacher for a day and a father for life."

"Heaven, Earth, King, Parents and Teachers" was a creed known to all women and children in the traditional society in the past.

The status of "jun" and "teacher" has always been sacred and inviolable. "A teacher for one day and a father for life" is also the principle of the relationship between teachers and students and teachers and apprentices in society. When students see teachers, they must always hold the etiquette of disciples. The relationship between teachers and students is a major issue in human relations and remains unchanged throughout their lives. Why?

"Where the Tao exists, the teacher exists." The relationship between teachers and students should be measured by "morality". In order to promote his way, Confucius traveled around the country, and his disciples served him, and some students even followed him for his whole life. As the saying goes, "A gentleman seeks the Tao but not the food. When farming, he is discouraged; when learning, he is wealth. A gentleman worrys about the Tao and not the poverty, which is the way of the teacher, the virtue of the teacher, and the soul of the teacher."

Chen Yingyou thought about bringing the military and economic concepts of later generations to the Tang Dynasty and then carrying forward the vast majority. He also thought about opening lectures and teaching disciples.

However, he never thought about recruiting the two brothers Wu Yuanqing and Wu Yuanshuang as their disciples.

Chen Ying did not believe in the theory of bloodline, but he believed that the environment could change a person's life. Without Wu Yuanshuang, Wu Zetian's persecution and bullying of a generation of empresses by the Wu Yuanshuang brothers, it would be difficult for Wu Zetian to develop a character that would never give up and that millions of people would go away.

Chen Ying thought for a while and said, "Ying Hede can teach the two young masters. Ying is only a young man now. I am still a student. As a teacher, I will only mislead my children!"

Xiangli gently pushed Wu Yuanqing. Although Yuanqing looked thin, he seemed to be only seven or eight years old. In fact, he was just stunted. In fact, Wu Yuanqing was born in Daye in the fourth year and was eleven years old. Wu Yuanshuang was born in Daye in the sixth year and was already nine years old. Children in this era were more precocious.

Wu Yuanqing was reminded by his mother and knelt in front of Chen Ying with a pounce, saying, "Please accept Yuan Qing as his disciple!"

Wu Yuanshuang also said angrily with a silence: "Please accept Yuanshuang as his disciple!"

Chen Ying really didn't want to have too much entanglement with the brothers Wu Yuanqing and Wu Yuanshuang, so he said lightly: "Chen Ying has no intention of accepting disciples. Mrs. Wu and two young masters Wu should be invited back!"

But the facts were beyond Chen Ying's expectations. Wu Xiangli left as soon as he said that, but her pair of precious sons still knelt in front of Chen Ying.

Chen Ying thought that these two furry children were only three minutes long, and they were willing to kneel, so they only had to kneel for half an hour at most.

But Chen Ying never expected that Wu Yuanqing and Wu Yuanshuang brothers could not get up. An hour passed and they were still kneeling, two hours were still kneeling, and three hours later, they were already kneeling on the ground and sleeping.

Chen Ying naturally knew that kneeling would easily damage his knees. Before the Tang and Song dynasties, people actually did not kneel at any time. Until the Qing Dynasty, if they wanted to become officials, they had to have iron knees that could kneel up for a long time.

Chen Ying was really afraid that one of the two children would kneel down and asked Liang Zan to help them up.

But Wu Yuanqing said very stubbornly: "Please accept Yuanqing as his disciple, otherwise Yuanqing would rather kneel down and die here!"

Chen Ying smiled bitterly and said, "You'd better go back. I can't accept disciples like you, and I don't dare to accept you as my disciple!"

Wu Yuanqing looked at Chen Ying with big watery eyes and said timidly: "Does the teacher dislike us brothers who are not good families and children of merchants?"

"Not so!" Chen Ying shook his head and said, "Chen Ying doesn't want to accept disciples for the time being. When you accept disciples in the future, you will be asked to become disciples!"

Chen Ying thought of cheating the Wu Yuanqing and Wu Yuanshuang brothers back in any case.

Who would have thought that Wu Yuanqing said stubbornly: "My grandma said, please ask the master to fulfill his wish. The master will not accept Yuan Qing as his disciple, and Yuan Qing will not get up even if he kneels down and dies!"

"You are still young and your bones have not yet grown. If you hurt your knees, you will regret it in the future!" Chen Yingyu said earnestly: "You should go back, what can you get here?"

Chen Ying did not object to taking disciples, but he was absolutely unwilling to be the principal of the kindergarten.

Wu Yuanqing bit her lip and lowered her head and did not speak.

Wu Yuanshuang was young and said frankly: "Master, don't worry, our brothers kneel in the ancestral hall for at most three days and three nights!"

Only then did Chen Ying realize that the brothers Wu Yuanqing and Wu Yuanshuang were extremely naughty. Whenever they angered Xiangli, Xiangli never beat Wu Yuanqing and Wu Yuanshuang, but they were punished to kneel in the ancestral hall. It was only an hour at the beginning, but later the two gradually became unscrupulous. Xiangli's kneeling time was getting longer and longer, and the two still refused to repent.

Chen Ying thought secretly that Wu Yuanqing and Wu Yuanshuang were really naughty children who remained unchanged after repeated teachings. In front of Xiangli, they were still afraid. After Xiangli's death, Wu Yuanqing and Wu Yuanshuang were the grandsons who escaped from the Buddha of Tathagata.

Chen Ying said: "Get up and have a meal!"

"The master will not agree and accept us as disciples, and we will never get up even if we die!"

Facing the scoundrels of the brothers Wu Yuanqing and Wu Yuanshuang, Chen Ying was really afraid of them: "In three months, let your father go to Chang'an to become a disciple!"

...

The mountain is hidden west of Weize Pass. According to legend, during the Spring and Autumn Period, the orphans of the Zhao family of Jin State had hidden here. At that time, with the defeat of Yuchi Gong at Weize Pass, a defeated soldier of about three or four hundred people fled here. The leader was named Wei Dingbang, the general in charge of the three-eyed general.

Wei Dingbang was originally the fake son of Li Shanfei Wei Daoer, one of the rebellious kings at the end of the Sui Dynasty. His original surname was Wang and his name was Yunu. Kong Wu was strong and loved by Wei Daoer and accepted it as a fake son. In fact, he was three years older than Wei Daoer, but he was three years younger than him as his father. It was also considered a strange thing. After Wei Daoer accepted Wang Yunu as his son, he gave him the surname Wei and changed his name to Wei Dingbang. Because Wei Dingbang was fighting, he was shot on the forehead and eyebrows by the crossbow arrow at the end of the powerful crossbow. However, at this time, the crossbow machine was powerless and only cut off the flesh, leaving a scar as big as a copper coin, as if it was the legendary three-eyed general.

So Wei Dingbang called himself a three-eyed general.

In the first year of Wude, Dou Jiande, Hebei pretended to join forces with Wei Daoer. Wei Daoer was unsuspecting and was attacked by Dou Jiande. He was defeated and killed by Dou Jiande. Wei Dingbang was unwilling to surrender to Dou Jiande, the "father-killing enemy" Dou Jiande, so he led more than 2,000 troops to surrender to Liu Wuzhou and became a general under Yuchi Gong.

Yuchi Gong was defeated and surrendered. He took advantage of the chaos to escape and hid in the lonely cave in the Tibetan Mountains.
