Chapter 408: Mistake

From the Ministry of Magic’s temporary office in Hogwarts, Allen teleported to the Gryffindor common room, hid his figure, approached Ron, and pulled out several of his hair.

Ron grinned in pain, but didn't know what was going on. He cursed a few times, searched for "The Weird Magic Problem and its Answers" and completed his paper.

Two paragraphs were already scribbled on the parchment in front of him. Looking at the length of the parchment, he might have to fight here for a long time without the help of Hermione and Harry.

Allen left Gryffindor with satisfaction and wandered on the road that must be passed from the Ministry of Magic’s temporary office to Gryffindor. This road is relatively cold. At this time, most of the little wizards are in the lounge or library. Allen calculated that he appeared here, and no one would pay attention to it.

Sure enough, he was stopped by the Ministry of Magic officials who came to consult. In the other party's surprised gaze, he happily agreed to take the hostage to Krum.

On the second game, during breakfast, Professor McGonagall found several selected hostages with a serious look on his face and asked them to follow her.

Ron was confused, so he followed Luna in a daze, behind Ginny. Ginny seemed a little nervous, and Ron couldn't help but become nervous.

Entering the temporary office of the Ministry of Magic, Albert and other schools' hostages were already waiting.

On the long table in front of them, six cups were placed, and the brown liquid inside emitted the smell of chocolate, bubbling.

"As hostages that need to be rescued by the warriors, you will be taken to the bottom of the lake by the mermaids in a while, but don't worry about safety. Drink this, you won't feel any pain or any danger." Crouch pointed at the potions on the table.

Ron widened his eyes and looked at Crouch in disbelief. He raised his hand and wanted to speak, but Crouch ignored him and just waved his hand and told him to wait.

"We told the Warriors that if you are not rescued within an hour, there will be no hope. But in fact, you will not be in any danger." Crouch looked at his watch, "Okay, hurry up, it's very simple, just drink them."

"Sorry, sir, why did I become a warrior?" Ron asked with a pale face and plucked up the courage.

Crouch frowned: "You agreed to be the hostage to the Warriors."

"No, I'm not, I don't." Ron shook his head in panic.

"What he said is true." Luna said lightly.

Ron felt the crazy girl's words were so beautiful for the first time, and he glanced at Luna gratefully and looked at Mr. Crouch expectantly.

Crouch's brows were furrowed tightly. There must be something wrong in the middle, but the competition was about to start. There was no time to change their candidates for them. He would never tolerate any problems in this game. Since the Sirius wrongful case, his power in the ministry has shrunk and his situation is in a difficult situation. He is now responsible for a major event like the Three Witches Championship. No mistakes can be made. He cannot afford to lose this person, and his prestige can no longer be hit.

"Ron Weasley, you are a Gryffindor, be brave. You escape at the last minute, which will discredit Arthur and Percy, and I'm afraid they will also leave an impression of being overwhelmed." Crouch walked behind Ron, put his hands on his shoulders, and pushed him towards the table with the potions. Ron heard the threat from his intentionally raised voice.

"What he said is true." Luna's voice sounded in Ron's ears again.

The crazy girl was still so unlovable. Ron looked at the cup in front of him and widened his eyes. A thought penetrated his heart like a spell: "If he was brave, would Dad and Percy be reused?"

Throughout this thought, his heart beat wildly again. For the sake of his father and Percy, he must not retreat and be with him to the end.

Ron picked up a cup and drank the potion inside.

"Okay, it's really good. You are the first to drink the potion. Don't worry, Krum is very strong and will rescue you, so you don't have to worry."

"What? Krum, not Harry? Is it really me who Krum likes?" Ron was so breathless that he was overwhelmed by the news that he tilted his head and fainted on the ground.

For other little wizards of Hogwarts, today was a grand event. They walked up to Allen to wish him good luck tomorrow, with a pleasant tone and full of confidence. Obviously, they all believed that Allen was going to complete another wonderful performance, just like in the first project.

Allen did not lose his grace because of the immediate competition. He smiled and nodded to express his gratitude.

Soon, Allen also stood up and walked towards the lakeside.

As he walked through two oak doors and down the lawn, he saw the seats surrounding the Fire Dragon Pardoir last November, now lined up across the lake, full of seats and reflections reflected in the lake below.

This was the coldest morning in the severe winter. The trees were covered with frost, as if they were oozing out of the frost. The sky was blue, like a bright mirror, and the sunlight passed by, bright and cold, shining on the cold lake surface, without any warmth.

The referees sat next to another table with a golden tablecloth by the water. Allen walked around the lake.

Dumbledore smiled and blinked at Allen, and Crouch sat indifferently behind the long table without even looking at Allen.

Mrs. Maxim smiled softly, as if nothing could ruin her good mood, Kakarov surrounded his baby student Krum.

Crum, wearing a thick long-haired cloak, gave Alan a provocative smile.

Ludo Bagman's voice suddenly resounded across the lake.

"In this competition, the Warriors need to go to the bottom of the lake to find the baby they miss the most, but there is a time limit. If it exceeds an hour, then there will be no hope. Next, please allow me to introduce their baby."

"Luna Lovegood-Allen Harris misses the most."

Hermione, sitting in the stands, told Penelo, who was beside her with a sarcastic smile, "Don't think he likes you the most."

"Harry Potter-Ginny Weasley; Fleur Delacour-Albert Harris." Suddenly, Bagman's voice increased octaves. "Wickeldo Crum-Ron Weasley!"

There was a hustle and bustle on the field, which was so unexpected. The indescribable secret between Krum and Ron was told over and over by the little wizards.

Like other wizards, Krum was stunned by the news. After reacting, he looked pale and his lips trembled: "No...I'm not, I don't!"
