221. Stop Violence

(Read the full text of the Reading House without pop-up windows)

The fatal opportunity that Old Nelson was expecting for finally appeared. Although it appeared a little early, it was beyond his expectations. He thought the Jazz could last longer, after all, this was a famous playoff team. However, Chamberlain started to have a mess after only two minutes of playing.

Perhaps as the outside world speculated before the game, the Jazz are now suffering from phobia. As long as Chamberlain appears, any combat effectiveness he can show will make the Jazz team panic and all the plants and trees.

Although the Warriors had the advantage, Old Nelson still made a quick decision. He called a timeout and replaced Billups and Ellis on the court. The inside partner Chamberlain also became Harrington instead of Evans.

Sloan predicted this and also came up with the strongest lineup he could use, Oku, Boozer, Kirilenko, CJ Myers and Deron, and the five Jazz Tigers appeared at the same time.

It was still the Warriors' ball. At the beginning of the game, Billups planned to rush around the Jazz's penalty area, both inside and outside. Ellis ran around the penalty area like a loach. Chamberlain covered him out of the open space. Billups' pass was immediately sent, and Ellis broke through and scored a layup after getting the ball.

Immediately afterwards, Billups and Jackson doubled Deron, and Kirilenko dribbled the ball to organize the offense, but his organizational ability was a bit bad. The Jazz players could only run on their own. As soon as he passed the ball, he encountered Billups' fast hand. After the steal, the Warriors' fast break. Billups and Chamberlain launched a pick-and-roll cooperation, and the latter rushed into the inside and dunked.

In the despair of Jazz fans, Boozer and Deron stepped forward. The latter gritted their teeth against Billups's pressured defense. He hit the opponent twice in a row, suddenly turned around and completed the change of direction, broke through and attracted double teams and passed the ball to Boozer.

After receiving the ball, Boozer used his strong explosive power to enter the penalty area within one second, jumped high with the ball in one hand, shouting and trying to dunk.

But there was a Chamberlain in front of him. Chamberlain jumped up without hesitation. The two big men glared at each other. Boozer waved his arms heavily to dunk, and Chamberlain accurately slapped the ball in Boozer's hand.

There was only a dull sound like thunder, and the strong ball was sandwiched between two big hands and almost burst. Then Chamberlain's strength took the advantage and dominated the result. Boozer was swung out with the ball, and Billups rushed up to pick up the ball and shouted "Run with me" and shot it out like an arrow.

Delong was panicked, and subconsciously reached out and grabbed Billups' arm and pulled him back. Seeing this scene, Sloan couldn't help but cover his eyes with his hands: his disciples were completely in chaos, but in the backcourt, Billups had to travel through the whole game if he wanted to attack quickly. Delong's foul was completely in vain.

Then Deron also reacted and watched Billups serve proudly outside the midfield. He cursed in frustration. Sloan hugged his arms and shook his head helplessly. He remembered the former black and white double evil combination. The cooperation between Malone and Stockton once made him famous throughout the 1990s. If he hadn't met the Super Bulls led by **** Jordan, he would have won two consecutive championships.

Once upon a time, when he saw Jordan retirement, Sloan was once ambitious. He wanted to recreate the black and white evil spirits, but now it seems that this idea is just a joke!

Boozer is not Malone, everyone understands this in the draft, but Sloan has always had high expectations for Deron, and he hopes Deron can become Stockton's second. Unfortunately, it seems that all this is a dream now.

Deron's physical fitness is better than Stockton, stronger and more powerful, and has better bounce. Although the horizontal movement is slow and not fast, the difficulty of Stockton is fast. Is the horizontal movement excellent? When I first saw Deron, Sloan was so excited that he couldn't hold on to himself. He thought he had seen the second Stockton, a power-enhanced version of Stockton.

Although Deron is far worse than Stockton's offense and defense skills, Sloan doesn't care. When Stockton first joined the league, he was not an assist king, steal king, and a second-most regular. In a sense, Deron has better potential than Stockton.

But Deron is not Stockton after all, and his potential is confined by himself and he will never be able to become a great Stockton-like star.

No matter Stockton has any shortcomings, there is one thing he is the best of other players of his contemporaries, that is, calm, almost cold-hearted calm. Even the cold-blooded killer Reggie Miller of his contemporaries has to admit that this is a guy who can stay calm at any time.

Deron is obviously far behind this point. His character and emotional intelligence are born. In Sloan's eyes, this thing is born. Deron loses too much than Stockton in these two points.

Seeing Deron reaching out and holding Billups, a middle-aged man wearing sunglasses and a half-old T-shirt sighed in a corner of the Energy Center stadium. He raised his head and looked at the Energy Center stadium with several jerseys hanging on it. There was a jersey all over white, with a huge ‘12’ embroidered with blue silk thread. On the back of the jersey is the Jazz’s iceberg team logo and a name, John Stockton!

The middle-aged man smiled melancholy, and his eyes seemed to penetrate the sunglasses and lenses and shot on his jersey. For a moment, the emotion on his face was heartbreaking.

He looked at the jersey with nostalgia. The middle-aged man shook his head and stood up from the seat. He lowered his head and walked out of the audience. An old fan happened to turn his head and looked at the middle-aged man's lonely back. He couldn't help but shout, "God, it's John Stockton?!"

His scream attracted the attention of the people around him. After hearing his words, everyone stood up and looked around: "Who? Man? Who is it? John Stockton? Why did he appear here? Even if he comes, he is a VIP? Did you see it wrong?"

Everyone was arguing, and the middle-aged man with sunglasses had already passed through the bustling fans and disappeared into the eyes of the old fans.

"I bet that's definitely John Stockton!" the old fan murmured, "I will never forget his back. It was here back then. I have witnessed the Chicago people taking the championship twice, and I have seen John's back twice..."

Stockton, the eternal Jazz soul, has played for this team for 19 seasons in his career, and has never had the heart of a traitor. He won nine consecutive assists in this ordinary stadium, sent out the most assists in NBA history, became the person with the most steals in NBA history, and became the person with the most events in NBA history, representing a team in NBA history...

With so many records, Stockton has incorporated his soul into this team, and in the entire Salt Lake City, some may not know who the mayor is, but no one will be unclear who Stockton is.

News about Stockton's appearance on the stadium was immediately spread to the surroundings. Countless fans stood up and looked for the superstar who once brought infinite glory to the stadium. Since retired, Stockton has lived a low-key life as an ordinary person, completely fading out of people's horizon. Fans want to see him again, even if they just look at him.

Jazz fans were looking for spiritual sustenance. The Warriors on the court became more and more braver, and the Jazz were even more busy. Under the command of Billups, the Warriors' running position was orderly. Ellis, Jackson and Harrington made consecutive shots. Fortunately, there were people on the Jazz who were not willing to be outdone. Oku hit a three-pointer, and Kirilenko hit the basket and caused Chamberlain to foul, temporarily delaying the score.

However, from the situation on the court, senior fans and experts can see the general trend of the game. The Warriors have the initiative. Old fans are particularly aware of this, because at the end of the last century, their Jazz team was killed twice by the Bulls. And last season, although the Warriors and the Jazz team fought seven games, the initiative on the court was controlled by a team at that time, but at that time the Jazz team controlled the initiative.

The Jazz struggled to chase points, while the Warriors used the killer. Billups' jump shot helped the Warriors break through. Chamberlain played Oku with his back at the basket, and scored 2+1. Then, Chamberlain attacked the Jazz's inside line continuously, causing Boozer and Oku to make another foul. He made 3 free throws and scored 6 points in succession, and the Jazz could no longer withstand it.

Facing the Warriors' 9-0 little **** and facing the score that was pulled apart again, Deron desperately hit the inside, like a warrior carrying a pack of explosives.

However, the warriors then became martyrs. How could such a small man be allowed to go wild when Chamberlain guarded? He gave Delong and the ball in his hand out of the court with a big hat. At this time, the third quarter also came to an end. The Warriors led by more than 15 points 85-70!

One minute after the fourth quarter, Deron was substituted, which announced that the old coach Sloan had given up this round of the series.

Billups, West, Jackson formed the guards of the outside line to completely suppress the Jazz. The Warriors continued to expand their lead 91-75 8 minutes and 18 seconds before the end of the game.

Boozer then scored 3 points in a row with free throws, but it was already a drop in the bucket. Chamberlain made a layup and a hook, and Billups helped Harrington to make a three-pointer. The Warriors were getting crazy when they saw the dawn of victory, expanding their lead to 24 points in one fell swoop. At this time, less than four minutes before the end of the game, the Jazz were destined to be eliminated.

Old Nelson replaced Chamberlain and West, and the players who played were all substitutes. There is no doubt that he was going to prepare for the tough battle in the second round. Their next opponent is not a parallel team like the Jazz, but a defending champion Spurs!

The outcome of the main players also represents the arrival of garbage time. Chamberlain and Billups talk and laugh on the bench, and everything is comfortable and free.

At this moment, the desperate Jazz fans suddenly erupted. They experienced too many negative emotions today. The team's lack of strength suddenly appeared and disappeared Stockton. The former defeated Warriors became so brave. The anger in the hearts of the lost Jazz fans accumulated and finally erupted like a volcano.

The fan wearing the Warriors jersey was first attacked. The young fan who supported Chamberlain was knocked to the ground by a strong man. The man beat the child up and roared: "Scream again, you scream again, why don't you cheer for that damn Chamberlain?"

The street painter roared and wrestled with the big man. The small-scale fight quickly developed into a fan conflict. The red-eyed Jazz fans knocked the Warriors fans to the ground, and the scene was extremely chaotic for a moment.
