9. Kobe's fangs

Warriors players surrounded Old Nelson and listened to him make the final tactical arrangement.

According to NBA regulations, the maximum number of personnel of a team is 15, but there can only be a 12-person roster for each game, and the remaining three are frozen. In basketball terms, that is, "SUSPENSION (suspended, suspended, not available)".

The three players who were frozen in this game were Brand White, Sidean Lasme and Stephen Jackson. The first two were due to their ability reasons, and the second one was due to their ban.

Three referees came on the court, and the referee then blew the whistle and the starting players of both sides began to enter.

The starting lineup sent by the Lakers are: center Kwame Brown, power forward Ronnie Turiav, small forward Luke Walton, organizational defender Derek Fisher, and shooting guard Kobe.

The Warriors' starting lineup is: center Bidlings, power forward Pitrus, small forward Azubuke, organizational defender Davis, and shooting guard Ellis.

Seeing this lineup, Barnes, who was sitting next to Chamberlain, burst into laughter. The smile was as cheap as it was, and with his terrorist appearance, it was really full of jokes.

"What's wrong?" Chamberlain asked in confusion.

Barnes looked at Old Nelson with a slight look. Seeing that the latter was not paying attention to his direction, he said foolishly: "How many points do you think that guy Kobe can get today? Ellis is famous for his eye defense. I think Kobe can get 60 points, what do you think?"

After hearing this, Chamberlain was amused and crying. Can you be serious, Kobe is our mortal enemy.

The old Nelson man was not deaf. After Barnes finished speaking, he turned his head and looked at the few people with a gloomy face.

When Chamberlain saw that the old man was unhappy, he immediately expressed his position: "Bryant must be busy picking up girls this summer vacation. It is not certain whether he can find the rhythm of the game today. I think his score will not exceed twenty, uh, thirty!"

After hearing this, Old Nelson nodded with satisfaction. Chamberlain breathed a sigh of luck. What coaches hate the most is that their subordinates disrupt the morale of the army. His current status in the Warriors is still unstable, so it is better to flatter the coach more.

Barnes was used to being careless. He didn't care about Old Nelson's gaze and looked at Chamberlain provocatively and said, "Do you dare to bet? I bet Kobe's score will exceed 40 points today. Do you dare bet that he won't get 30 points?"

Jackson and Barnes slapped hard and slapped their chests, saying, "I have bet with you, I am the same as Z, and I bet Kobe won't score more than 30 points! The old rules are one dollar!"

Chamberlain was a little moved to see Jackson support him so much. Since he was diagnosed with Giant disease, no one has treated him so well for a long time except Sachmond, so he also wanted to place a bet. After all, they didn't bet big, only one or two yuan.

As a result, before he placed the bet, Old Nelson suddenly came up and whispered, "Give me a bet too, I bet Kobe scored more than 40 yuan! Two dollars."

After this scene, Chamberlain felt like ten thousand grass horses roared past his heart. What kind of team is this? You have to be so unconfident in Ellis' defense to do this! And the old man, you are the team coach, isn't it too much to play like this?

Everyone bets one after another, and then looked at Chamberlain. Now, except Jackson, everyone else bets that Kobe will score more than 40 points.

Facing the gaze of everyone, Chamberlain smiled slightly and said solemnly: "I bet Kobe will score less than 30 yuan, ten yuan!"

In fact, Chamberlain knew that he would definitely lose. Since the Eagle County incident broke out in 2003, Kobe has been criticized by fans. For this paranoid, the pressure caused by these criticisms is the driving force for his progress. It was from 2003 that Kobe jumped out of the first-tier star on the court to become a superstar. He has been improving and has never stopped moving forward.

In 2005, O'Neal went east to Miami and joined Dwyane Wade to form an invincible internal and external team, and won the NBA championship that season. Without O'Neal, the Lakers' record was declining. Last season, they were not even as good as the Warriors and were eliminated in the first round of the playoffs.

This summer, Kobe suffered more criticism. He was regarded by fans as the culprit for forcing O'Neal away and was criticized for the team's record. In response, Kobe was holding a sense of anger in his heart and waiting to vent. Throughout the summer, while other stars were busy traveling and picking up girls, he practiced hard in the training hall and strength room, waiting to use practical actions to attack those who criticized him after the game.

For players of Kobe's level, the preseason is just a bird's hair, and he won't take it seriously. What really makes him interested is the regular season.

Unfortunately, the Warriors became the Lakers' first opponent in the regular season, and even more unfortunately, Ellis, who was going to face Kobe in this game, was a defensive screen.

So, before the game, everyone expected Kobe to explode. What is uncertain now is the degree of explosion, whether to score 50 points or 60 points? Or even break the 81-point record held by Kobe himself in Staples Arena?

Don't think that the Los Angeles media is exaggerating. The Warriors are famous for their bad defense team, while Ellis is the worst defense in this team. If Nelson really arranged for Ellis to always play against Kobe, it would be impossible for Kobe to score 81 points today.

Kobe in the 2007 season has become the most terrifying scoring machine in the league. You can say that he is a lone wolf, he is a team cancer, he is a locker room poison, but his scoring ability is absolutely unquestionable.

Chamberlain knew this, but he still chose to focus on the side that would lose, because Jackson had already stood up for him, and he had to follow Jackson. Besides, for five or ten yuan, it doesn't matter if he wins and loses a bet of this type, just be happy.

Just as everyone was fighting, the opening game of the 2007-08 season started.

Under the arrangement of three referees, the starters of both sides stood in the middle of the stadium, and Bynum and Biderlins face to face to prepare for the jump.

Bynum and Biderlins are two extremes. The former has too excellent physical fitness. The name of the little shark is not for nothing. However, this guy has a bad brain and is a brainless person. His IQ is 100,000 miles worse than that of the big shark O'Neal.

Bidlins is the opposite. His physical fitness is just average among white people, let alone compared to black guys. However, he is very smart and has a high ball quotient, otherwise he would not be able to make it in the Warriors.

Unfortunately, jumping balls are not very demanding on your brain. As long as you can jump or jump, the referee throws the ball into the air. Biderlins just stood on tiptoe, and Bynum has soared into the sky and racquets the ball into Kobe's hands.

Seeing Kobe get the ball, thunderous cheers suddenly sounded in the Staples Center Arena, and countless people shouted at the 'MVP'. The scene was really exciting.

Everyone thought that Kobe was about to use his personal ability to launch a unilateral massacre. However, perhaps it was because he had been resting for a summer and did not regain his touch, or perhaps because the opening game was too important to put pressure on the players. Kobe did not make a breakthrough in the first ball, and simply made a long shot, but the ball was lost.

Not only Kobe, but the starters of both teams were a little restrained after the opening game. Kobe did not succeed in the attack for a long time, and the Warriors bombed the Lakers' basketball hoops, and the result was 0 N shots. The game started more than two minutes, and the scoreboard was still scarlet 0:0.

Chamberlain was happy when he saw this scene. He smiled at Jackson and said, "Martial Saint, we may win the bet, haha, did Kobe come to his aunt today? It's too bad to see his performance."

Jackson showed a malicious smile on his face, and he chuckled, "Boy, you'd better pray that Kobe really came to you, otherwise you would be miserable. Ask God, you'll be miserable!"

Chamberlain was unclear, and he was about to ask a question, but the situation on the court suddenly changed.

After three minutes of testing, Kobe finally showed his fangs. Facing Ellis's eye defense, Pan himself took the ball and broke into the inside and directly dunked. Then Davis passed the ball to Pitrus in the inside and encountered Kwame Brown stealing, the Lakers counterattacked, and Kobe hit Ellis with a backward jump shot.

After Kobe scored 4 points in a row, the eyes of the Warriors players who were like mud turned red. Davis broke through from the baseline and entered the penalty area, attracting Bynum to make up for defense and then passed the ball to Ellis on the outside.

In the penalty area, Ellis used Azubuk's pick-and-roll to throw away Kobe and Walton who made up for defense, rushed into the inside and easily picked up the basket and scored two points.

"Beautiful job!" Chamberlain waved his towel and roared wildly. Jackson was startled by his sudden howl and shouted in a daze: "Man, what are you doing? Damn it, I'm scared to death!"

Chamberlain smirked: "I'm so excited, I'm so excited, please forgive me."

Barnes said lazily: "Rookie, isn't it the first time you're watching the NBA on the spot?"

Chamberlain smiled awkwardly, he did not argue because this was the fact that his family was in too difficult. Tickets worth hundreds of dollars a day were a huge sum of money for him. He could only watch live broadcasts or broadcasts in front of TV. How could he watch live NBA games? However, he watched a lot of NBDL games because he had a friend who was playing in NBDL.

Seeing this, Jackson and others were shocked. Harrington patted his shoulder and said, "Damn, boy, you are such a weirdo. I hope you will not be too bad after you come on the court. If you dare to do something that embarrass us, damn I swear to God that I will make you regret coming to the Golden State Gangs!"

Just in the absence of several people talking, Kobe assisted Fisher to shoot a three-pointer, pulling the score to 7:2.

Seeing his opponent performing so coolly, Ellis felt dull. He performed poorly on the defensive end and could only make up for his shortcomings on the offensive end. So he cheered up and reached out to play singles. Seeing this, Old Nelson stood up and shouted: "Idiot, do you think this is a street court? Go to the position quickly! Go to the right position, don't fucking singles for me!"

Old Nelson is the most determined team basketball executor among all NBA coaches. This can be seen from the fact that the team has never had superstars under his rule. You should know that when he directed the Mavericks, Nash and Nowitzki were both ordinary first-tier stars, but after he left, the two immediately rose strongly to become international superstars.

Ellis glanced at Old Nelson with anxiety. Just when everyone thought he would pass the ball as the latter ordered, he rose from outside the three-point line and simply scored a three-pointer.
