Chapter 18 The Nature of the Wizard
Some people come with laughter when they appear, some people come with BGM, and some people think BGM is not satisfied, so they just carry the speaker by themselves.
But the tall black-haired witch in front of her, wearing an emerald green robe, had no fancy sounds, and she walked with the cold wind that was coming to her face.
There was no sound around, and no one dared to speak for the little wizards who had just complained.
One of the few people that Professor McGonagall's Weasley brothers feared the most was so serious and pursed their lips.
"First year student, Professor McGonagall." Hager said quickly by avoiding the witch's eyes.
"Thank you, Hagrid. I'll leave it to me to pick it up here."
Hagrid gave William a look of good luck and hurriedly turned around and walked in from the other side.
It seems that he is also scared.
How can you not be afraid?!
Hager used magic many times in violation of regulations during the summer vacation and secretly bought a three-headed dog that was forbidden from the Ministry of Magic... Now is the time to feel guilty.
Even McGonagall is still his junior girl!
Professor McGonagall pulled the door wide open, revealing a luxurious marble staircase that led directly to the upper floor. The surrounding stone walls were full of burning torches, and the ceiling was so high that it was almost impossible to see the top.
The first-year freshman followed Professor McGonagall along the stone floor, and hundreds of people buzzed out from the door on the right.
But Professor McGonagall did not take them directly into the hall, but turned a corner and walked to the other end of the hall, a very small empty house.
Everyone rushed in, squeezed together with their backs, and stared at everything around them nervously.
"First of all, welcome to Hogwarts." Professor McGonagall said, "The school banquet is about to begin, but before you get to the restaurant, you all need to determine which college they will enter."
“Classification is a very important ceremony because during your time at school, the college is like your home in Hogwarts.
You have to attend classes with other classmates in the college, stay in the college dormitory together, and spend your spare time together in the college's common room."
"The names of the four academies are: Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw and Slytherin. Each academies have their own glorious history and have cultivated outstanding wizards.
Your outstanding performance during your studies at Hogwarts will earn extra points for your college, and any violation will reduce points for your college.
At the end of the year, the college with the highest score can be awarded the College Cup, which is a very high honor.
I hope you can win glory for the college no matter which college you are assigned to, instead of being naughty all day long!”
Professor McGonagall's last few words made his voice look old and he glanced at William.
Through those stern eyes, William felt that the other party seemed to know what was happening on the train.
His intuition has always been very accurate!
However, he can only be considered the most inconspicuous of the many accomplices.
Compared with the main culprit Weasley brothers who were extremely guilty and full of evil, and the sniff, William is not worth mentioning at all!
He comforted his young and fragile heart so much.
Fortunately, McGonagall just glanced at William, and did not lift him out and criticized him in public.
William wiped the sweat from his forehead. He felt that if his mental quality was poor, he would probably be scared to tears?
It is worthy of being Professor McGonagall!
"In a few minutes, the branch ceremony will be held in front of all the teachers and students in the school. I suggest you relieve your nervousness."
"I'll pick you up when you're ready there." Professor McGonagall turned and walked into the hall. She turned her head and said, "Please keep quiet while waiting."
But as soon as Professor McGonagall left the room, everyone started to buzz.
"How can they exactly which college they assigned us?" a girl asked at William.
The man was named Marietta Aikemo. He had just squeezed into a small boat with William, and almost held his hand and squeezed into his arms, trembling.
William didn't speak, and as a reserving show, he didn't know how to branch the school.
The boy named Kaumike McLagan on the side showed off proudly: "Don't worry about the test, I will definitely be admitted to school, my uncle..."
His uncle Tiberus knew Rufus Sclinger of the Ministry of Magic, who was the director of the Aurors' office.
After this time, McLagan has repeated it four or five times.
The essence of human beings is a repeater, and wizards are no exception in this regard.
McLagan also boasted about his flying talent, saying that he would join the Quidditch team in the first grade and become the youngest player ever.
The boy said, giving William a provocative look.
This attitude probably started when he knew that William was just a Muggle.
William touched his wand and wanted to give him a silent spell quietly to lock his noisy mouth, but Professor McGonagall just walked over.
William immediately pretended to be honest.
So McLagan was in trouble, and Professor McGon stood behind him like a ghost, while the boy was still chattering about his uncle's friend.
"Don't worry about your uncle, you're talking so much nonsense, I will definitely send you home!" Professor McGonagall said sternly.
McLagan was so scared that his legs were weak. He shivered and almost knocked Marietta Akemo down.
The girl gave him a death gaze and moved towards William, as if she wanted to hide in his arms so that she could feel safe.
Qiu winked behind Professor McGonagall and signaled William to seize the opportunity.
Take a chance! William said he came to study, not in love!
Of course, if any witch is of good looks, he doesn't mind becoming a soul mate with the other party!
But Marietta Akemo, a little girl, must have no chance.
"Ah" suddenly screamed.
McLagan howled, and it turned out that several ghosts appeared behind him.
He was so scared that he couldn't breathe, and the same was true for the people around him. The temperature in the whole room seemed to have dropped a little.
These pearly white, translucent ghosts slid across the room, whispering to each other, and paid little attention to these freshmen, as if they were arguing about something.
"Hurry up and find Barrow, the blood man, back. Only he can control the Pipi ghost." said a ghost wearing a wheel-shaped wrinkled collar tights.
"Barrow, a blood man, went to find Ms. Gray, you know, something went wrong with the Ravenclaw lounge recently." said a chubby little monk-like ghost.
"So we'd better give Pipi Gui another chance, just let him attend the banquet."
"Absolutely impossible! My good monk, don't we give Pipi ghosts enough opportunities? But he will slander us, hey, I said, what are you doing here?"
The ghost wearing a wheel-shaped wrinkled collar tights suddenly discovered the freshman.
McLagan was so scared that he hid behind William, which made Professor McGonagall's pursed lips tighter.
"Freshman!" the chubby monk smiled at them. "I think I'm probably going to take the test?"
William nodded friendly.
"I hope you can get Hufflepuff!" said the monk, "I used to attend that academy."
The ghosts walked towards the hall, floating across the wall opposite and disappeared, and Professor McGonagall's voice sounded again.
"Now move forward, the branch ceremony is about to begin." Professor McGonagall said to the first-year freshman.
Everyone walked towards the hall honestly.
I'm the delimiter of the repeater
In order to ask everyone for recommendation votes, McLagan will repeat the review a hundred times at the branch office.
