Chapter 140 Painful scars

William sat down in the chair, looking at the glowing meditation basin, pondering the memories just now.

Thinking of the things during the summer vacation, he always feels something is wrong.

But there is still a critical clue, which makes him unable to analyze what is wrong.

This clue is similar to the fire crossbow and invisibility cloak that Sirius gave anonymously last Christmas.

A few gifts are nothing, but William and Hermione seized this detail and completely inferred two truths: "Spots are the Little Dwarfs" and "Big Black is Black"...

Tonight, she shouldn't have been asked to return to the dormitory. She should keep her in the house where she will ask for it. The two of them can check each other's shortcomings and make up for the gaps.

She is best at finding abnormalities in complicated details.

Dumbledore sat on the chair and waved his hand, allowing Harry, who was somewhat restrained, to sit there too.

After Harry sat down, his eyes stared at the meditation basin. The things in the basin turned into silvery white, constantly spinning and rippling.

"It's called a meditation pot," Dumbledore explained.

"Suck out the extra thoughts from your mind, pour them into this basin, and take a good look when you have time.

In this state, it is easier to see their form and their connections."

"You mean...this thing is your mind?" Harry said, glaring at the silver substance that was spinning in the basin.

"That's right," said Dumbledore, "I'll let you see."

Dumbledore pulled out his wand from his robe and inserted the tip of the wand into his silver hair.

When he pulled out his wand, some silver substance seemed to stick to the tip of the wand.

Dumbledore puts the memory into a meditation basin and stirs it gently, like a gold digger turning the sand table.

The silver substance gradually turned into William's face. He opened his mouth and spoke to the ceiling with a little echo.

“Professor Dumbledore, I met Voldemort and the Worm Tail in the forests of Albania.

He was no longer a shadow, had a body, and also grabbed Bertha and tortured her.

We fought once, I killed that body…he turned back into shadow…”

Harry listened dementally to the words in the meditation pot.

William fought Voldemort again?

"Harry." Dumbledore said slowly, "William says your scar hurts again?"

William also woke up from his contemplation and turned his head to stare at Harry's scar.

"Yes," Harry swallowed, "Professor-I'm in the common room, but I-I'm looking..."

He hesitated for a moment, as if thinking about how to describe it...it doesn't sound like crazy words.

Dumbledore said, "It's understandable, keep talking."

"Well, I seemed to have a dream," said Harry, "I dreamed of Voldemort."

"Which Voldemort?" William interrupted.

Dumbledore narrowed his eyes and looked in searching, and was also curious about this question.

"Tom, sixteen-year-old Tom, the one in the diary," Harry affirmed.

"Of course!" Dumbledore nodded. "And what?"

"He was drinking...a green potion that looked very painful. While he was drinking, he was still cursing Voldemort, I...and William."

William raised his eyebrows and thought Tom was a serious man.

Unexpectedly, I also learned the Zuan people's stinky mouth in private.

"What then?" Dumbledore continued.

"Then he took the medicine and crawled into a lake... and finally a lot of corpses dragged him in."

"My scar starts to hurt, it hurts so much that it makes me faint."

"Well, that's all." Harry said.

Dumbledore looked at him and said calmly, "Did your scar still hurt this year except for this and the one during the summer vacation?"

"No, I-how do you know it woke me up during the summer vacation?" Harry asked in surprise.

“You are not the only one who wrote to Sirius,” Dumbledore said. “I kept in touch with him after he left Hogwarts.

Dumbledore stood up and paced back and forth behind the table.

Sometimes, he put the tip of his wand on his temple, pulled out the silver-shining memories, and added them to the meditation basin.

The thoughts in the basin rotated rapidly, and nothing could be seen, only a blurry silvery white.

William was also thinking, and he asked again: "What does that hole look like?"

"It's very big, very dark...it's all over the place."

"Where is outside the water?"

"Rock, big rock."

Dumbledore stopped pacing, looked at Harry, and murmured: "Rocks... Cliffs! William, it seems we were wrong."

William nodded. "Yeah, we always thought we were in the sea."

"What?" Harry asked in confusion.

But neither of them answered him.

Professor Babuling found a body for Tom and cast a spell that only vampires could perceive.

Finally, it was confirmed that Tom was active in a sea area. Near that sea area, there was an orphanage where he lived when he was a child.

The two of them always thought that another Horcrux was hidden in the sea. Dumbledore went into the water and searched several times but did not find it.

But Harry's dream...the cave...is most likely at the beach.

Seeing that the two of them were not talking, Harry asked carefully again: "Principal, do you think... that dream... is real?"

He really didn't want to hear Dumbledore say "really", that means he had some special connection with Voldemort.

He felt disgusted when he thought he would have a connection with Voldemort.

Dumbledore stared at Harry and whispered: "It's possible, very likely. Harry - have you seen Tom?"

"No," said Harry, "I only saw the potion, and the lake...but-I couldn't see it either.

He has no body, right? But... how could he have a goblet?"

"Yes," Dumbledore murmured, "how could it be..."

William knew that Dumbledore's questions were different from Harry's.

Of course Tom could take a goblet, after all, he was attached to someone else's body.

Dumbledore's question is...Why can't Harry see Tom?

A more blunt statement: in which way did he dream of Tom?

Should I stand next to Tom, or should I look down at this scene from above?

Harry's answer was: He couldn't see Tom.

This just shows that... Harry is observing from Tom's perspective!

Or, at that moment, Harry and Tom's thoughts remained connected.

"Professor? You-do you know why my scar hurts?" Harry finally asked.

Dumbledore looked at Harry for a while, and then said, "I only have one speculation, just speculation."

Your scar will hurt when Tom approaches you, or when he develops a particularly strong desire for revenge."

"But...why?"

"Because that unsuccessful spell, the life-seeking curse, connected you and him," Dumbledore said.

"This is not an ordinary scar."

Harry nodded, then stood up and prepared to leave. He looked at William again and found that he had no intention of leaving.

At this moment, Dumbledore's old voice came:

"William, you stay, I still have something to tell you."

William nodded, not moving at all.

Harry slowly walked out of the office and looked at William's back as he closed the wooden door.

He remembered again the incident of William and Voldemort fighting that he had just heard of the meditation pot.

He hadn't heard Hermione mention it!

Harry couldn't help but complain:

The forests in Albania were indeed burned by William and Hermione!

He also said that it was not what you two did!

Walking destroyer!
