Chapter 38 North of the North Sea

William is not unfamiliar with Covinus Gunter, a descendant of Slytherin, and can even be said to have paid attention to it for a long time.

He first saw this name, and it was related to Dumbledore.

In his first grade, he wanted to make a Hogwarts map.

The principal recommended the Hogwarts structure construction album with seven volumes.

William was idle and had indeed read it, and saw it inside:

In the eighteenth century, Covinus Gunter led the construction of the Hogwarts pipeline system.

He didn't pay much attention to this information at that time, until the little Tom in the diary began to stir up the wind and rain.

William needs to find the location of the secret room.

And in the secret passage of the underground palace of the four giants, there are the faded skins of the snake monster.

Following the fading direction, William found the basilisk moving in the pipe.

Then he remembered Covinus Gunter.

Covinus obviously discovered the secret room, so he used a complex pipeline system to completely hide the basilisk to prevent it from being found by others.

In other words, the old Gunter discovered something in the sanctuary of the Secret Room with Slytherin's notes earlier than Tom.

The strange thing is that he clearly discovered these things and deliberately hid the secret room, but did not take away the snake monster and the notes.

Instead, he stayed for those two hundred years and was finally discovered by little Tom.

This person was strange everywhere, so William began to deliberately investigate Covinus Gunter.

In the book "The Glory of History - (Pure Blood Family), he found the entry of Covinus Gunter, and there were only a few simple records:

Covinus Gunter disobeyed the family orders and did not marry his cousin, and elope with a veterinarian named Babuling.

The two have a daughter who died early.

Covinus Gunter finally disappeared in "The City of Seven Hills".

Now with Dumbledore's intelligence, Gunterby Tom, chasing Slytherin earlier.

He even released the octopus, so that from then on, the North Sea giant demon was found.

William felt shrouded in a fog, and he wondered, "Why did he do this?"

"Same as Grindelwald's purpose." Dumbledore suddenly felt sad, looked at the sky with his hands behind his back, "finding the god of death."

"But Nico said that if you want to find the God of Death, you must set out together like the three brothers.

Either they are related by blood or are as close as brothers, in the end only one person can survive.”

William frowned:

"But Gunter and Grindelwald are only one."

"The giant demon in the North Sea was sent by the God of Death. With its power, you can also see the God of Death.

This process is extremely difficult and full of uncertainty.”

Dumbledore looked a little desolate.

When he was with Grindelwald, he formulated a pilgrimage path, looking for the Deathly Hallows on the one hand and searching for prehistoric mysteries.

The two also made plans on how to find the god of death.

Later, after his sister Arianna died, Dumbledore broke up completely with Grindelwald and gave up all his past plans.

But Dumbledore always wanted to resurrect his sister. While he was constantly looking for the resurrection stone, he also wanted to find the god of death.

He could not find the God of Death like the three brothers, but he investigated the giant demon in the North Sea.

I have also searched in the North Sea over the years, but I have never found the sirens.

Unexpectedly, it suddenly appeared and began to attack the owner of the Deathly Hallows.

Grindelwald also took the opportunity to leave and chose to use it to fulfill the agreement of that year.

William looked into Dumbledore's eyes and said softly: "Professor, why are you so clear about Gunter?"

Dumbledore knew about Grindelwald, but he shouldn't be so sure about Gunter two hundred years ago.

Dumbledore has always been cautious in using words, but what he guessed will definitely be very tactful.

"I made an agreement with her that no matter how many details she is told," Dumbledore shook his head.

William, who was in deep thought, suddenly spoke:

"What is the relationship between Professor Kovinus Gaunt and Professor Babra?"

Babra knew about the Ravenclaw bronze ring, and even after William entered the time cycle, she still retained her memory.

The reason was that the bluestone amulet on her neck was a snake wrapped around the scepter.

Behind the amulet, there is a gorgeous, snake-shaped S.

This is left by Slytherin, specifically for the Ravenclaw ring.

Professor Babuling, an older Veteran, seems to be a descendant of Slytherin, so it is possible that it has something to do with Gunter.

After hearing William's words, Dumbledore was surprised for the second time today, and he sighed slightly:

"William, you're really smart, but I still can't say it. You can ask her yourself.

If it were you, she would definitely tell you. She asked me a few days ago when I would let you go to the United States."

William shook his head quickly.

It's so bad that the United States is. When they meet, they might want to let him kill someone again.

It’s better for Babuling, a woman with a bad personality, to never see her in this life.

Dumbledore slowly walked to the riverside, looked at the Danube, and sighed after a long speechlessness.

Back then, the two wanted to find the God of Death, but not to look for the Deathly Hallows.

History is like a river, rolling and passing by, but there is always the shadow of death behind it.

He used his invisible hands to manipulate the powerful wizards.

Whether it is sending out the Deathly Hallows or killing the owner... no one knows what Death wants to do.

Dumbledore and Grindelwald firmly believe that death will be the last obstacle to their plan.

They searched for the God of Death just to... kill the God.

That's all.

After the breakup that summer, Dumbledore had completely extinguished this idea, but Grindelwald still remembered it.

The old man suddenly stretched out his hand to hold the cup, and a crystal clear cup made of river water appeared between his five fingers. He said aloud:

“A cup of freedom,

A cup to death!

My old friend is going well!”

...

...

A black ragged boat was driving rapidly on the river.

There are snow-capped mountains on both sides, and this pool of water is extremely turbulent. The mountains on both sides are confronted by cliffs. The narrowest part of the water surface is only fifty meters, and the widest part is hundreds of meters.

Sirius was wrapped in a thick robe and didn't wear long pants, and he felt very cold.

He stood at the bow of the boat, looking at the Demstrong students who seemed extremely adaptable, and was a little puzzled.

Don’t these people have their feet frozen?

No, there has always been such a saying in the UK:

Great Britain is colder, even colder than Nordics.

Because England is wet and cold, Nordics are dry and cold.

One is a magic attack and the other is a physical attack.

Sirius always thought this sentence was true. Now he came to the Alps at the end of the Rhine River and felt the high-altitude snow-capped mountains. He just wanted to say:

God, Britain is colder than Nordic!

Can two degrees below zero be colder than two or three decades below zero?

Why don't you say that Britain is colder than the Arctic?

Why is the UK wet and cold? It just means that it is not cold enough, and the water vapor in the air cannot condense!

Fortunately, migratory birds don’t read newspapers, otherwise they would not leave the north in winter.

The Alps are so cold, so what is the cold in Northern Europe?

Just as Sirius was worried about his future life, the roar of wild beasts suddenly came from a distance.

It seems that someone is fighting.

"An avalanche happened!" someone shouted in horror.

Sirius raised his head, a large amount of snow rolled down, the river water quickly freezed, and the entire ship was frozen.
