Chapter 26 Professor Rozier (two in one)(1/2)

The boy with his eyes closed was quietly lying on the hospital bed covered with white linen sheets.

Almost no breath.

Several wizards around were standing there with a serious expression, one of the witches wearing dark green healer robe looked particularly worried.

"Mrs. Rozier, what's going on now?" Ms. Poppy Pomfrey, a school doctor at Hogwarts School Hospital, finally couldn't help but ask.

The witch, who was closest to the hospital bed and had just half-squatted, finally stood up and tidied up her black windbreaker.

"He is almost one step away from death." She spoke slowly, her voice calm: "But thanks to the protection of Dragon Skin, the Dragon Skin always has a strong protective effect for any magic!"

As she said, she pointed to Draco Malfoy's hands on the hospital bed, the boy with his eyes closed, still wearing his dragon-skin gloves.

"If he hadn't had this layer of gloves, let alone an eleven-year-old boy, even an adult wizard would have died on the spot." Professor Rozier added.

"Oh my God, what terrible thing did this boy come into contact with at that time!" Mrs. Pomfrey's face was filled with fear, and she covered her mouth.

"Dangerous extreme magic items, maybe even items on the mysterious magic side!" Professor Rozier simply guessed: "Anyway, it must be not a good thing... What about the other three boys in that dormitory, how are they now?"

When asked the latter question, Ms. Rozier looked at a bald old man who was as fat as a walrus next to him.

Professor Horace Slughorn, the dean of Slytherin, coughed gently, and then quickly explained: "Whether it is Crab, Goll or Nott, they are now unconscious, and they answer incoherently no matter what they ask, and even scream hysterically... I fed them some Ningshen potions and are now asleep."

"So what about that dormitory? Has it been searched?" Professor Rozier continued to ask coldly.

"I searched it completely, and there were no items related to extreme magic!" Slughorn said with a look of affirmation.

"As expected, ordinary extreme magic items cannot enter Hogwarts." Professor Rozier turned around again,

"Professor Rozier..." Professor Kettleborn, who was wearing three prosthetic limbs, took a few steps forward: "I mentioned to you a few days ago that my chickens that were attacked were probably not simply accidents... Will there be any connection between these two attacks..."

"I don't think there is any connection." Professor Rozier replied coldly.

"But... maybe you can allow me to go deep into the Forbidden Forest, we can at least rule out one possibility..." Kettleborn insisted.

"There is no need, Sivanos." Professor Rozier replied without hesitation: "I have answered you this question once two days ago!"

"Okay...Okay..." The poor teacher of the protection magic biology class could only nod obediently, looking very aggrieved.

A noise suddenly came from outside the door, and Mrs. Pomfrey hurried over to see what was going on.

A minute later, she came back-

"It's Professor Troca!" she said to Professor Rozier, "He heard that a student was attacked and wanted to see what happened... But you have instructed before that no one can break into this ward unless you have your permission."

"Let him go back, this matter has nothing to do with him." Professor Rozier's voice was still extremely cold: "The sky is not completely dark yet."

"Okay." Although he did not understand what the vice-principal's last sentence meant, Mrs. Pomfrey nodded.

Professor Rozier took a last look at Slughorn: "A boy's dormitory, there are five students under normal circumstances, so what about the last one?"

Slughorn was prepared: "His name is Matthew Wickfield, and he was not on the scene at the time of the incident."

"Call him over, I have something to ask him." Mrs. Rozier said bluntly, and then she added: "In addition, tell me all the situation at the scene at the time of the incident, and all the details!"

"Okay, madam!"

...

"What happened?" Matthew was forced out of the library by Slytherin's predecessor Gema Farley, and he had to ask.

"Draco Malfoy, your roommate, is in danger now," Farley explained. "And Vincent Crab, Gregory Gole and Theodore Nott, they are all unconscious and unable to communicate with people... In short, you seem to be the only normal person left in your dormitory, so Professor Slughorn wants to find you what's going on?"

"How do I know what happened?" Matthew only felt a little dizzy: "What the hell is going on?"

But Miss Farley didn't know what was going on.

The two of them could only go back and forth like this, and they fought for a while.

A few minutes later, Matthew finally guessed some clues:

That was when his dormitory seemed to have been attacked by extreme magic, and all four roommates were affected.

Could it be said?

Matthew suddenly thought of that book in his mind. Is it related to it?

However, the book was clearly locked in the suitcase by itself, and the key to the suitcase was still in his pocket—

Matthew subconsciously touched his pocket, but found nothing.

It should be when I woke up this morning and forgot the key to my suitcase in the dormitory?

It seems that there is really a possibility...

I just don’t know if that book was found by Professor Slughorn?

But no matter whether you find it or not, it is right not to admit it!

Anyway, that book appeared around me for no reason.

...

It's not the first time Matthew Wakefield is here in the Potions Professor's office.

But the last time I came here was Professor Horace Slughorn took the initiative to "communicate" his feelings with him.

But this time, there was more than one teacher in this office.

There is also Vice President Professor Vita Rozier.

"Professor Slughorn...Professor Rozier..." Matthew greeted him proactively, and at the same time he made a confused expression: "What the hell is going on?"

Slughorn opened his mouth, but glanced at Professor Rozier beside him with some scruples, and then quickly closed his mouth.

"Matthew Wakefield!" Professor Rozier asked coldly, "Where are you?"

"I'm in the library!" Matthew replied quickly.

"Can anyone testify?"

"The library administrator Mrs. Pins, and Hermione Granger of Ravenclaw, should both be able to testify."

“What are you doing in the library?”

"I'm looking up vampire-related information to complete the papers in the Dark Magic Defense class."

"Okay, I'll know the authenticity of your words next Monday."

Professor Rozier lowered his head, picked up the quill, and began to record something on a piece of letter paper at a rapid speed.

The entire Potions office fell into a brief silence.

Slughorn glanced at Matthew, then looked at Professor Rozier, with an extremely awkward expression on his face.

"I think you already know that unexpected situations suddenly occurred on your four roommates." Half a minute later, Professor Rozier raised his head again, but her tone was still extremely cold: "But, this was the situation at that time-"

"When Draco Malfoy was discovered, he was next to your open, empty suitcase, and he was holding a purse with two hundred gallons in his hand... Have you entrusted Mr. Malfoy to get something from your suitcase?"

"No, madam!" Matthew shook his head.

"The reality is probably like this. Mr. Malfoy opened your suitcase without authorization and was about to put the 2Ballon in secret... and then reported to the professor that he had lost a lot of money and successfully framed you, turning you into a 'thief'..." Professor Rozier continued, with no emotion in his voice.

Matthew's pupils suddenly shrank, but he didn't expect Malfoy to use this trick... If he really succeeded, he would definitely face a big trouble.

"Have Mr. Malfoy ever had a conflict with you before?" Professor Rozier continued.

"Yes, madam." Matthew nodded: "Because I am a wizard from a Muggle, he once tried to humiliate me with the forbidden words, but was punished by Professor Grindelwald..."

"Then everything can be explained." Professor Rozier nodded:

"But when he reached this point, your dormitory was attacked by extreme magic. Mr. Malfoy is now in a state of uncertainty, and the other three people in the dormitory are also in a state of confusion."

Matthew made a pretty fearful expression.

"But rest assured, Professor Slughorn will strengthen protection of the Slytherin common room, and we will not let the next attack like this happen again!" Professor Rozier put down the quill in his hand: "You can leave, Mr. Wickfield!"

"Okay, thank you, madam!" Matthew stood up, bowed to Professor Rozier and Professor Slughorn respectively, and then walked out of the Potions office.

...

In this office, only Rozier and Slughorn were left.

"It should have nothing to do with Wakefield." Slughorn said first: "He is a Muggle-born student after all, and it is impossible for him to be exposed to extreme magic or mysterious magical items in just a few days!"

"No." Professor Rozier shook his head.

"Ah?" Slughorn opened his mouth in surprise.

"His reaction was wrong." Professor Rozier replied calmly:

"He was surprised and scared about this matter..."

"Is there anything wrong?" Slughorn asked curiously.

"But he is unhappy!"

"Happy?" Slughorn was stunned: "I don't understand, madam?"

"Malfoy insulted him, and even tried to frame him as a thief... Such a villain suffered retribution for an accident, and his life and death are uncertain now..." Professor Rozier said slowly: "Wouldn't he be happy to hear such an ending? Shouldn't he be gloating?"

"ah?"

"In fact, when he heard the ending of Malfoy, there was no joy in his eyes except surprise and fear!" Professor Rozier continued to judge:
To be continued...
