Chapter 65 The Weird Bar

"What are you doing?" The old man with a ferocious expression glared at the boy at the door and said viciously.

Matthew was almost shocked, and he stammered:

"Sir...I heard...you have butter beer here?"

The old man who had ruined his face looked at Matthew for a while and continued for ten seconds—

"Come in!" he said coldly, then opened the door to the cottage.

Matthew Wickfield can finally take a serious look at the situation inside the "Pig Head Bar".

This is a small, dark, very dirty house.

The bay windows were piled with thick dirt, and the frost on the glass made the light outside almost impossible, as if a curtain was drawn; it was barely illuminated by the candle heads lit on the rough wooden table.

The ground was even more dirty. At first glance, I thought the ground was compacted mud, but when I stepped on it, I found that the ground, which was originally covered with stones, had accumulated dirt for centuries.

There is no doubt that this bar is not a decent place.

"What are you looking at?" the old man looked at Matthew with some suspicion and asked coldly.

"I just heard Professor Bashida Basharat say... Your bar was once the headquarters of the Fairy Rebellion in 1612..." Matthew said slowly.

While speaking, he took a look at the old man's eyes "inadvertently".

Unfortunately, when he mentioned the name Bashida Basharat, the old man's expression did not fluctuate at all; in addition, his eyes were not blue either.

"That's all centuries ago!" said the old man disdainfully. "What do you need, butterbeer or flame whiskey?"

"Butterbeer bar!" said Matthew.

The old man turned and left, and Matthew also began to look around with curiosity.

...

There is no doubt that the bar is full of people of all kinds of religions and ranks.

There are not many guests, only three or five, and the environment is relatively quiet.

A witch who hung up to his feet in a thick black scarf, a male witch whose head was almost covered by a thick cloak; in short, they didn't look like a serious person.

Matthew was thinking secretly while looking at the disfigured old man's back-

In the original work, the male guest at Pig Head Bar is Albus Dumbledore's younger brother, Albuforth. He has also been collecting information for his brother in this bar.

So, how could this old man who had already lost his face be Abuforth Dumble?

After all, his appearance characteristics are completely different from Abuforth in his memory.

Just as Matthew was thinking, the hostess was already carrying a glass of butter beer and walked over.

Butter beer is not actually a beer, but a drink made from cream, butter and brown sugar; therefore, it is so popular with Hogwarts students.

"Sir." When the hostess placed the butter beer heavily in front of Matthew, Matthew asked softly: "I don't know what you should call him?"

"Percival!" said the male guest coldly.

This is not a rare surname. Percival is one of the most famous knights of the Round Table in the "Legend of King Arthur". He is known as the Three Knights of the Holy Grail together with Galahad and Boss, and is well-known in Wales and even the entire UK.

Matthew frowned slightly, and then he continued to ask, "I wonder how long have you been in charge of this bar?"

But this time, Matthew received no reply.

The male guest with a ferocious look suddenly looked at Matthew coldly and asked viciously:

"Are you interrogating me, boy?"

"..." Matthew quickly defended: "I am just a little interested in the history of your bar..."

But the male guest had quickly pulled out his wand and pointed it at Matthew:

"Say, who sent you?"

The strange-looking witches around were still drinking their butter beer or flame whiskey, as if they had not seen the conflict here.

"No, no! I'm just...a Hogwarts...a first-year student..."

Just as Matthew stammered in explanation-

"Matthew!"

The door of the Pig Head Bar was pushed open, and then a familiar voice came from the other side.

...

It was Horas Slughorn, this bald old man who was as fat as a walrus, standing outside the door with a smile.

He glanced at the dirty floor with some disgust and walked in.

"Why are you here?" Professor Slughorn asked loudly.

The man who had just been viciously hosted his wand unknowingly put away his magic wand.

"I...I just heard that this bar was once the headquarters of the Goblin Rebellion in 1612." Matthew breathed a sigh of relief and quickly explained.

"Oh, okay!" Slughorn grabbed Matthew's hand, and he said humorously: "The records in history books are often somewhat different from reality."

"Yes, sir!" Matthew nodded.

"Let's go, this kind of place is not something we should stay!" He shook his head at Matthew: "Thanks to me just now when I saw you..."

Matthew was forced to pull from the table by Slughorn.

"A glass of butter beer, three Sikes!" the male entertainer said in a rough voice.

Matthew was about to take money into his pocket, but Slughorn had taken out a few silver coins and placed them on the dirty table.

"Let's get out of here!" Then he urged.

Matthew had to follow Professor Slughorn and quickly left Pighead Bar.

...

Once again, we came to the bustling Central Avenue.

"Professor." Matthew asked hurriedly: "You just said that Pighead Bar is not a place we should stay?"

"Of course!" Slughorn explained: "That kind of place is not a place that serious people should go; if a little guy like you, if I hadn't just passed by and had been eaten up by someone, I wouldn't know what was going on..."

“…If you want to have some butterbeer, I suggest going to two brooms, which will be much better in terms of environment and taste!”

Slughorn said enthusiastically: "Let's go and have a drink together?"

"Of course, professor." Matthew nodded.

...

And when Matthew followed Slughorn, he just left Pig Head Bar.

The witch, who was hanging down to her feet in a thick black scarf, hurriedly paid the bill and walked out.

Then he quietly followed the steps of the old and the young in front of him.
