Located at the top of an ancient tree is the nest of the fire dragon, which is the top of the ancient tree forest ecological niche.

In addition, the design team also designed the weather and time, day and night, morning and dusk, and the corresponding scenery is different, and even the appearance of monsters is related to these. The storm in ancient tree forests felt only ordinary heavy rain in the bottom area, but at the top, it could face thunder, which was quite impactful.

The entire map has a clear hierarchy, forming a complete ecological structure from plants, animals, and terrain. Even if this place really exists in a corner of the world, people will probably believe it.

Outside the ancient tree forest, a large desert area consists of ant nests as the main body. It was once the 6 coral highlands of the ocean. It is located below the 6 coral highlands, made up of monster corpses, a valley of miasma filled with harmful gases, and a place of dragon crystallization filled with ancient dragons and lava areas.

Currently, according to the initial idea of ​​Xu Rui and others, these five maps are planned.

Of course, the design department has many creative ideas, some ideas that cannot be adopted into existing maps, and are indeed good have not been abandoned, but have been collected and left to be activated in the future.

In the art design, Holofi will check the whole process. Monster design generally starts from three aspects: monsters that exist in reality, imagined fictional monsters, and monsters representing natural power.

For example, the mud fish and dragons that appear in the wasteland are inspiration drawn from loaches and can move freely in the water and in the mud, while the fire dragons are more like evil dragons in Western mythology. As for the ancient dragon monsters that appear in the later stage of the game, most of them can control the power of nature, such as storm and thunder, which are the incarnations of nature.

Due to the experience of many previous games, the art design led by Holofi has added many rough elements, scales, hairs, and ferocious monsters in the relatively realistic style, forming the main artistic style of "Monster Hunter".
