Prologue: Justice from the Sky (Fog)

When the lights are on, the Nordic town Mirtri is dotted with scattered warm lights in the first falling night.

A tall but very thin blond man had a look of weakness and sadness on his face, and his feet were shaking across the familiar path home.

The neighbors around him greeted him familiarly and comforted him. The blonde man suppressed his sadness and squeezed out his smile to complete the necessary social activities.

The blonde man's name is Moser Lockson in this life. His birth date is unknown. From his first name to his last name, his adoptive father customized it for him.

That's right, this life.

Lei Hou, a Chinese man in his previous life, had to force himself to improve his mind because of a devil customer's painful request and continued to modify the code all night long.

So, he was "lucky" to catch up with the trend of the times, died suddenly and traveled through time, at the age of 25.

As a programmer who is one of the high-risk occupations for sudden death, Lei Hou was not too surprised by his death.

Although he felt guilty and reluctance to his parents at home before his death, generally speaking, the single programmer who was alone died was quite free and easy.

Originally, Le Hou thought that his life would end here, but who knew that the three goddesses of Destiny made a big joke on him.

When he felt the body again and realized that he had a chance to have a new life, Lei Hou was sadly discovering that he shrank and became a baby who could not take care of himself.

But this is not important. What is important is that the cradle of Lei Hou did not find his new parents beside him. He lay alone under a mottled stone wall, and the quaint and heavy wooden door next to it was tightly closed.

"who I am?"

"Where am I?"

"What am I going to do?"

The baby's undeveloped brain could not support Lei Hou to think too much, so he could only lie on the ground with a confused look on his face, staring blankly at the bright stars in the night sky.

"When was the last time I saw such a bright and clear star?"

As the saying goes, there is true love in the world... Wow, in short, Lei Hou was lucky to be picked up by an old aunt who walked out of the building next to him.

Although the old aunt's language made him understand, Lei Hou could probably guess that this was a church through the obvious religious atmosphere brought by the prayers in the building.

However, this does not seem to be a church that is often spoken by people with the christ suffix.

At least the mural figure in the deepest part of the church does not look like a bearded Jewish middle-aged man, but a one-eyed old man holding a spear and wearing a winged helmet.

"Odin?"

Lei Hou was adopted by this church that suspected of believing in the Nordic gods. In addition to trying to overcome the various inconveniences of the baby's body, he has been trying hard to absorb various knowledge like a sponge.

It was not until the time when Lei Hou was adopted by a kind-hearted person and was given the name Messer Lockson, it had been two years since Lei Hou arrived in this world.

With the learning talent of his descendants in China, he successfully learned the language of this country and gained a preliminary understanding of some of the situations in his new world.

"It's true that it's a parallel world, and routines are all routines."

Yes, this is a parallel world, not the earth where he lived in his previous life, but a planet called Midgard.

The bearded father, named Chester Lockson, lives in the Nordic Republic, the North Sea country of Midgard. He is a newly widowed dock worker.

The Nordic Republic believes in the great god Odin in Nordic mythology, and its territory is approximately the entire territory of the five Nordic countries on the earth.

Since someone gave him a new name, in order to be different from his previous life, Moser sealed his original name deep in his memory and accepted the name given to him by the bearded father in front of him.

Under the careful care of his adoptive father Chester, Moser grew up "healthy".

Although Lockson is not a wealthy family, thanks to the relatively complete welfare system of the Nordic Republic, it is not a big problem to support two people with the income from Chester's father transporting goods at the dock.

However, both Chester Daddy and Moser himself were very confused about Moser's body, which was always thin and not fat.

When Messer started to grow up at the age of 12, Chester took him to church and hospital respectively, and conducted examinations through traditional and modern medical methods.

The conclusion is that Moser's body has no problems and is very healthy. As for his thin figure, he can only be regarded as born like this.

Not only does her body not grow fat, Moser even grew a very dull blond hair after traveling through time, and it looks like yellow seaweed to her scalp, giving people a listless feeling.

Fortunately, Moser has a pretty good appearance. Although his cheeks are a little thinner, his facial features are very three-dimensional, with a high nose and deep eyes, and his blue eyes are bright and bright. He can score at least 80 points only by looking at his face.

Since Moser was young, he kept saying that he had suffered a loss of uneducation and told Moser to learn more knowledge.

Moser, who inherited the excellent learning talent of Yan and Huang's descendants, did not disappoint his adoptive father. He has always been among the best from elementary school to middle school, and was successfully admitted to the University of Oslo, the most famous Nordic Republic.

Oslo is the capital of the Nordic Republic and is a port city located in the southwest of the country. It has nothing to do with Oslo that Messe knew in his previous life...

Well, in my previous life, Messe just knew about Oslo's place and knew nothing about the situation in Oslo.

He absorbed the experience of his death in an instant in his previous life, and even if Moser was killed in this life, he would never report any majors related to software.

After being admitted to the University of Oslo, he applied for the Department of Theology.

Dad Chester was not dissatisfied with his choice... It would be better to say that from the moment he learned that Messe was admitted to the University of Oslo, he had already been smiling from ear to ear.

Neighbors familiar with each other also encouraged Moser to study hard and become an excellent theological researcher in the future.

In the Nordic Republic, a country with very religious beliefs, studying theology is not superstitious or embarrassing.

After living in this world called Midgard for more than ten years, Messer gradually accepted Midgard's unique worldview.

Although the overall structure of the planet is basically the same as that of the earth, Midgard's national composition, humanities, history and international situation are very different from the earth where Messe originally lived.

As a descendant of Yan and Huang in his previous life, although Moser traveled through time and became a Nordic race, the first thing he cared about was his hometown.

Fortunately, Midgard still has the Eastern power that Moser is familiar with. Although it is somewhat plausible from the name to historical development, the core cultural heritage has not changed much.

In the Nordic Republic, theology is considered part of past history, and most people across the country believe that gods once existed.

Although they have experienced the disaster of Ragnarok, the surviving gods will one day return to humanity.

Although the atheist Moser scoffed at this, he was a man who remembered his grace.

When he first traveled through time, he was picked up by an old aunt from the church, and he always kept this in mind.

Since studying theology is also a decent job, Moser, who is determined to repay his kindness to the Odin Church, simply chose theology major and planned to go to the Theology Institute after graduation to continue working, and transformed from a programmer in his previous life to a scholar.

However, things happened unexpectedly. When Moser just got his bachelor's certificate and graduation certificate, his playmate Anderson, who grew up with him, called Miltree, a small town in the southern Jutland Peninsula and told him something bad news suddenly.

Chester, who had worked hard to raise Moser, had an accident while working. The metal boom at the dock had a malfunction and fell from the air, hitting Chester. His father died before he was sent to the hospital. He was 53 years old.

The sudden bolt from the blue disrupted all Moser's plans.

It has been 20 years since Moser was adopted by his father. He originally planned to work as a theology researcher and take Chester from Miltree to the capital to live in the capital, so that his father can live his life at home. Who knows...

He hurried back to his hometown, and with the enthusiastic help of his old neighbors, he clumsily completed the funeral for Chester, and buried his father in a cemetery designated by the church.

The believers of the Odin Church believe that those who are kind and hardworking to contribute to the world will be taken to Valhalla after death, and will stay in Asgard as the Asgard as the God of Heroes to enjoy happiness.

Chester's old neighbors are very clear about the character of Dad Chester. He has rarely had any fights with others over the years, and he will try his best to help anyone in difficulties.

After his beloved wife passed away, she adopted orphan Moser and raised him alone.

Although Chester's job is not very decent, he has always been diligent in his work and never cheats. His colleagues have highly praised him.

All the old neighbors and Chester's colleagues, including Messe's young master Anderson, believe that my father will definitely be promoted to the Temple of Heroes and enjoy peace of mind from now on.

After finally completing the various procedures after Chester's death, Moser officially inherited his father's few inheritance.

A two-story single-family cottage in Mirtri and all the furniture, as well as some fragmented banknotes, all that Dad left behind.

The Nordic Republic is vast and sparsely populated, and its huge territory is less than 50 million people, so naturally the houses are not very expensive.

Especially in small towns like Mirtri, it doesn’t cost much to buy land from the Land Administration to build a single-family hut, let alone the government’s housing construction benefits subsidy. The house left by my father is not very valuable.

After several days of busyness, Moser, who didn't even care about sadness, returned home tiredly, sat in front of the fireplace in the living room, and stared at the stars outside the window, dazed intently.

"Are I the only one left?"

The scene in front of him reminded him of the dazzling starry sky lying under the cold corner of the wall at the beginning of time travel.

"Forget it... Let's have a rest, I'm going to start looking for a job tomorrow."

Moser, whose brain was in chaos, casually dealt with eating a few slices of bread bought in the convenience store. When he returned to the second floor, he pounced on the bed and never wanted to move.

"Farewell, Dad, I hope you can be promoted to the Temple of Heroes."

When Moser covered himself with a thick quilt and fell asleep, a huge hole suddenly appeared in the dark night sky of Midgard, and the desolate and dull Gobi scene opposite the hole truly appeared.

Just as governments were shocked by this, the hole that was suspected to be the space gate quickly closed again, leaving only some debris that were swept into Midgard by the strong wind blowing from the opposite world.

One of the inconspicuous small stick-like objects landed in a swirl into the territory of the Nordic Republic.

Under the night sky, no one noticed this little stick like a rolling pin. It seemed to be attracted by some kind of existence and fell straight into the Lockson's hut.

The short stick smashed through the roof and inserted heavily on the head of Mosse's wooden bed, leaving only a few centimeters away from his forehead.

"boom!"

The small-scale impact woke Moser from his sleep. He looked at the short stick emitting a glimmer of light on his head in cold sweat.
