Chapter Sixteen, Battle

On June 17, 1882, under the cover of the Austrian Navy, the five major war zones of the Anti-Turkey League launched an attack at the same time.

From the Caucasus to the Black Sea, from the Mediterranean to the Middle East, it stretches for more than 20,000 miles and is a battlefield, creating the longest front record in human history.

If Franz hadn't targeted Iraq, Persia might have joined the anti-Turkey alliance.

Death of lips and teeth?

It doesn't exist!

This is also a pair of old enemies. The distant history will not be reflected. The refugee crisis after the last Near East War alone made the two countries in a state of power.

After the outbreak of the Third Near East War, the Persians were also eager to try, but Austria did not take them to play.

Without the support of the great powers, the Persian government could not withstand the pressure of the British and could only resist the throbbing heart.

At the Constantinople General Command, Albrech, the only senior management left.

Perhaps the Ottomans looked very weak and everyone wanted to make military achievements, so Albrech naturally could not hinder everyone's path to the sky.

Since the implementation of the division of troops, he, the chief commander, became the logistics officer. Except for the Austrian army, he did not need to worry about other troops.

The bright sunshine shone through the windows and shone into the house, and it was another wonderful day.

The senior officials have left, and the coalition command is not only the staff officer, but also the representatives left by various countries.

The overall combat plan has been determined, and the specific implementation details are the tasks of major war zones, and the combat command has become leisurely.

Before we knew it, everyone's daily work became a war report on the front line, analyzing and interpreting it.

Albrech asked, “How is the landing operation going?”

A staff officer replied: "Except for the little troubles encountered in the Marmara Sea War Zone, the situation on the battlefield is very good.

The Russian army in the Black Sea War Zone had successfully completed the occupation of Ava and Zonguldak, and successfully landed from four ports: Injeko, Samsun, Orshe and Rizhe.

In the Mediterranean War Zone, our army has captured Cesme, Dateca, Finike, Kemer and other areas, and has successfully landed from four ports of Adalia, Anamur, Icheer and Iskendron.

The Greeks in the Marmara Sea War Zone also successfully landed in Pendici, but they performed poorly after completing the landing and the battle was still in a state of anxiety.

The army of the Duchy of Montenegro failed to land from Bandelma three times, and Marshal Maxim Trentiev was planning a fourth landing."

It is indeed a great deal. It only took three days to launch the landing battle and achieved so many brilliant results. It is really impeccable.

As for the small flaws in the Marmara Sea War Zone, it is not worth mentioning at all. From the very beginning, Albrech had no expectations for Greece and Montenegro, and these two small countries themselves were just making up for the numbers.

This is not a question of whether they work hard or not. The key is that their troops are limited and their ability to withstand casualties is limited.

Many people only noticed the brilliant achievements, but ignored the bloody sacrifices that accompanied it.

After looking at the map, Albrech directly gave up his plan to go further. In a sense, this war was just fighting randomly.

The Anti-Turkey Alliance relies on its strong strength to siege from all directions, and break through wherever the enemy is weak, without any technical content.

After thinking about it, Albrech ordered: "Report Vienna to win, and send a report of war to allies."

...

The coalition command has begun to report the victory, but Marshal Publius, who cannot feel the joy of winning at all.

Only the person involved knows this unpleasant feeling as they watch their allies sing and storm them here by the enemy.

At the military meeting, Publius slapped the table heavily and scolded, "Look at it yourself, this is the battle you are fighting.

The two infantry divisions could not conquer a small port and were pushed back by someone, which was simply embarrassing.

This is the battle report from the General Command. From now on, we are the laughing stocks in the coalition. Even if we have three times the superior force, we will not be able to make a breakthrough on the battlefield..."

As the commander of the Greek army, Publius was also under great pressure. He did not want to keep up with his allies, but he could not be much different.

If the current situation continues, I am afraid that the war will be over and they will still stay in this small port.

Not to mention the spoils, the Austrians will probably charge them materials at that time. How can such a good thing be done if they only eat but not work?

According to the agreement: the materials consumed in this war will be deducted from the spoils first, and then everyone will divide the subsequent income.

There is no doubt that this is based on the state as the unit of calculation. The strategic materials consumed by Greece will be converted into money and reduced from the share of the benefits they should share.

If you are not satisfied, you can do not need to worry about this issue if you are not satisfied with the Vienna government.

Unfortunately, Greece cannot afford it. The expedition of the labour army has never been an easy task. It can be called a gold-swalking beast among the gold-swalking beasts.

Don’t look at Greece only sends more than 20,000 troops. As long as the battle starts on the battlefield, tens of thousands or even hundreds of thousands of supplies of GSHI shields will be consumed every day.

It is easy and effortless to destroy Greece's fiscal revenue in one month.

Weber Wilvet, commander of the First Division, explained: "Marteur, it's not that we don't work hard, but that the enemy's firepower is too strong and our firepower is too weak. Once we show up, we will be suppressed by the enemy.

When fighting in coastal areas, the Austrian Navy provided firepower reinforcements, and we still had the upper hand."

Both are Austrian equipment, and everyone's equipment level is also different. The firepower equipment of each country is different. Generally speaking, Austria has the strongest firepower, with Greece and Montenegro at the bottom.

In the age of thermal weapons, the strength of firepower directly affects the combat effectiveness of the troops. Greece itself is not rich and has a navy, which makes the finances worse.

After losing the threat of foreign enemies, the army began to release horses to the south mountain, and the troops' firepower was still twenty years ago.

No matter how corrupt the Ottomans are, they have experienced social beatings. After losing two consecutive Near East wars, the Sudanese government has become more and more concerned about military construction.

With fortifications to rely on, there are advantages in firepower, and with stronger fighting will, the Greeks are not unfair to lose.

Publius interrupted: "Don't make excuses for your incompetence. I have applied to the coalition command for firepower and will be resolved soon.

It is urgent to come up with a combat plan as soon as possible, conquer Pendici in the shortest time, and prove our strength to our allies."

Under the law of the jungle, the strong prey on the weak. If Greece wants to tear off a piece of meat from the Ottoman, it must prove that it has matching strength.

...

Compared to Publius's sudden anger, Marshal Maxim Trentiev on the other side had to be much more balanced.

This war, the Duchy of Montenegro was just to make up the numbers, and there was no substantial requirement for dividing up the spoils.

The geographical location has blocked their expansion path. They are surrounded by Austria on three sides and have finally had a coastline, but unfortunately the French territory opposite them.

If you want to expand, you will be a copy of hell no matter how you go. In the face of cruel reality, the Principal of Montenegro chose to give up his ambitions very wisely.

There are many purposes for participating in the war, such as: revenge on the Ottomans, to inspire people's morale and increase the prestige of the government.

For example, in order to increase your sense of existence, so as not to be forgotten by the European world.

Or if you become an ally simply to win the favor of the Vienna government, you will be guaranteed to become an ally. This is the way for small countries to survive.

Maxim Trentiev deeply understood Albrech's orders and it was enough to restrain the enemy's troops. As for siege and plunder, it was all the tasks of allies.

The login failed? It doesn’t matter. Change the location and continue to reorganize. As long as the number of casualties is controlled, you can do whatever you want.

The record is not important, no one has any expectations for them, and no one will blame them if they lose.

The greatest contribution of the Principality of Montenegro to join the alliance was not to send troops to fight, but to strengthen the momentum of the anti-Turkey alliance in politics.

After the landing operation began, Maxim Trentiev frequently changed his landing locations, and each time he used the Austrian naval guns to bombard him.

After the tentative landing battle, development cannot be easily broken through, so I will give up decisively and will not fight hard with the defenders at all.

The sound of artillery fire broke out, and another landing operation began. This was Maxim Trentiev's second visit to the place, put down the telescope in his hand, and murmured to himself: "The time seems to be almost done."
