Chapter 2001 2001 Out of Time

Gwyneth prepared the evening dress and makeup for the red carpet to attend the premiere tonight, but she did not rush to arrive at the scene. Instead, she calculated the time and came late, showing the elegance and dignity of a true lady.

But strangely, there was a traffic jam near Hollywood Avenue. Gwyneth looked out the window in wonder, and then saw the surging crowds blocking the street next door. The exaggerated scene of the crowded street was jaw-dropping. This made Gwyneth stunned. Even if the driver didn't need a reminder, she knew what was going on there because it was the most direct street to China Theater.

"This is really exaggerating. I have deliberately gone three streets away, but it was blocked." The driver's soft complaining drifted into Gwyneth's ears without any obstacles.

Although Gwyneth was mentally prepared, she knew that the premiere of "Trumen's World" would be very popular, because she had experienced all this personally when the "Seven Deadly Sins" was released, but as a bystander, she was still shocked by the grand and grandeur of the premiere, and the heat wave that was rushing towards her seemed to melt the streets.

Gwyneth couldn't help feeling a little uneasy, but she still forced herself to calm down and convince herself that the grand occasion of the el.capital theater must be no less than that, because Warner Brothers had been fully prepared, so she could stand up straight. She looked back at the noisy crowd that was gradually left behind. "It's just that there are more people, and after all, it depends on the work." Gwyneth said to herself.

The el.capital Theater is not far from China. It can be reached even by foot. After driving around, I arrived at my destination ten minutes later. I saw the gorgeous lights from afar, as if even the air began to burst out sparks, making people excited.

Gwyneth outlined a perfect curve, and a sweet and elegant smile appeared on her delicate face, looking like a goddess walking out of ancient Greek mythology, ready to welcome the noisy crowd and enthusiastic media on the red carpet. But as the car got closer and closer, the smile on Gwyneth's face became stiffer.

A group of people stood sparsely at the entrance of the theater. Not to mention the entire street, even the wide square at the entrance of the theater looked extremely empty. The el.capital Theater is larger than the Chinese and Chinese Theater, so the space at the entrance is naturally larger. Originally, Warner Brothers wanted to make the premiere ceremony more, but now it has become a slap on the face: because of the scarcity of the crowd, the space on the scene becomes extremely empty, and the surging sense of shame came in an instant like a tsunami wave, surging.

The car stopped completely at the entrance of the theater. If the lineup of less than 400 people was usually considered lively. But for the water near the China Theater, the strong contrast made the scene look pitiful. The few people were like sparse green plants in the middle of the desert. Even if they saw the green, they still couldn't feel the vitality. The boundless desert only made them feel infinite loneliness, and the sparse green made them feel even more dry.

There were only four hundred people, only four hundred people, and even less than one third of the Chinese theater scene. Such a huge gap slapped Gwyneth in the face, causing her cheek to hurt directly. Her delicate and perfect smile instantly was like a porcelain doll mask, shattered.

The boiling anger in her chest made Gwyneth's emotions lose control. The hot flames made her tremble all over her body. She couldn't help but clench her fists. However, after her fingernails were stuffed into the palm of her hand, she quickly let go of her fists and began to take a deep breath. She tried to convince herself to calm down because she knew that she was an elegant and generous woman. She was different from those vulgar women who had a bad temper, had an out of control, and cried everywhere. She had her dignity and her persistence. So, Gwyneth slowly breathed, allowing her muscles to slowly relax...

But this simple thing in normal times has become extremely difficult today. Gwyneth's continuous chest showed the intense emotional fluctuations in her heart, which could not be calmed down.

Thinking of Hugo's contemptuous look and Hugo's refusal attitude, Gwyneth's inner anger began to rise, as if several gasoline had been thrown in a bonfire. In her life, no one could refuse her, let alone give her a shameful rejection. Gwyneth even wanted to let her godfather Steven Spielberg put pressure on Hugo and let Hugo apologize to herself, but Gwyneth still did not let this impulse be out of control.

But today...

"Miss Paltrow, you should accept the cheers of the fans." The driver's voice came over. In his opinion, nearly 400 fans were already extremely lively, and it was good news for any movie premiere.

This simple sentence almost made Gwyneth's expression lose control, but at the last moment, she barely kept her smile, nodded gracefully to the driver, then walked down the car door, and stepped onto the red carpet. She walked along the red carpet, but the enthusiastic shouts on both sides were just weak moans in Gwyneth's eyes, as if bursts of ridicule moaning her failure and embarrassment.

Every time she took a step, Gwyneth felt that she couldn't hold on anymore, and in her mind, the noise in the streets near the Chinese Theater could not be dissipated, just like Hugo's disdainful smile, stimulating her sensitive nerves and making her unable to help but want to clench her fists and clench her fists again.

Gwyneth didn't have the intention to get in too much contact with the fans. A red carpet ended in just five minutes. She just wanted to leave here as soon as possible, leave this occasion that made her bear countless shames, and hide in a secret corner to vent her inner anger.

After finally coming to the interview area, Gwyneth's elegant smile could not be maintained, but she knew that the real critical moment was coming, and the reporters were the most difficult part.

"It's about to end, it's about to end..." Gwyneth kept repeating to herself deep in her heart, always patiently answering various questions from the reporters. Her performance always maintained her elegance. Although the answers were a little shorter, at least there was no mistake. This is fortunate.

"Gwyneth, what do you think of Hugo? You collaborated with him on the "Seven Deadly Sins", and now the works of the two have become direct competitors again."

Gwyneth could hardly control her emotions, but she still gritted her teeth and squeezed out the answer from the gaps of her teeth, "We are all professional actors. I think we both hope that our works can be praised, after all, the works are the most important." Although Gwyneth's words were appropriate, the uncontrollable emotions still leaked countless details: she did not answer the reporter's questions positively, but instead mentioned them as "professional", as if the content hidden behind the words was "I do not like Hugo."

However, at this time, Gwyneth had no time to think about her words. She could speak so calmly and politely, which almost all her energy was spent. "Don't lose control! Don't lose control!" Gwyneth kept roaring inside, but she could hardly suppress it, so she showed a perfect smile, "Thank you everyone, the interview is here for the time being." She decided to go to the backstage to rest and cushion and calm her emotions.

But just before she lifted her feet, a reporter shouted, "Gwyneth, is it because you have a good impression of Hugo?"

This was originally just a random question, and the reporter didn't get any news at all, just catching up. Firstly, it was because of the competitive relationship between Hugo and Brad, which created explosive points many times; secondly, it was because Hugo and Gwyneth had worked together, and creating a little scandal was just the reporter's ability. But at this moment, he stepped on Gwyneth's mine, which made the tense string in her mind finally break. He thought there were rumors in the circle that her active show of kindness was rejected by Hugo, so who else could this person be? It must be Hugo! That hypocrite!

"Who said it!" Gwyneth finally couldn't bear it anymore, and said gritting her teeth, a trace of violence burst out in her eyes, and her emotions broke out for a moment. "Hugo is not my type, a man who looks gentleman but no one knows in fact, I have always kept a distance from him. We are not friends, never."

The words in her mind were vented, and finally released the stuffy air in her chest, which made Gwyneth's reason return to her brain again. She immediately realized what this sentence meant. She wanted to say a few more words to make up for it, but after thinking about it, she turned her head willfully and stubbornly, leaving only a back, and quickly left the interview area.

Gwyneth, who has strong control, has always known what should be said and what should not be said in front of the media; when can you lose your temper and when can't. But at that moment, Gwyneth did not hide all her emotions in her heart, and almost vented her towards the reporters. But now, regret is useless, and no one knows what consequences these words will bring, and no one can know what impact the movie box office will have.

Gwyneth left the reporters with an excited look behind him, and the premiere of the "Super Perfect Murder" also kicked off in low profile and embarrassment. The "Trumen's World" not far away kicked off in amidst the vigorous cheers, kicking off the first screening tonight.
